It's amazing that even a decade after release the wildcat holds its own amongst its class. It really was revolutionary
That seems like a good sxs. I always liked the Wildcats I just don’t have the room I don’t think to store one right now, so I’ve been looking into trail models or nothing wider then 60”.
great little run around review. really been debating on one of these, u just can't beat the experience of a good side by side!
They are great machines can am and Polaris also make very nice side by sides.
Bro funny thing I also own one but red color
What year is this model that has full doors and Elka stage 5 shocks? My 2013.5 has half doors and Fox shocks. I didn't know about not starting in Park, so thank you for that info!
@B Hose This is a 2015 wildcat X
Honestly A lot of people don’t know that you can start it in park however it’s better for the starter if you start it in neutral.
The wildcat 1000x limited have the full doors and elka shocks. The wildcat 1000x have fox podiums and half doors.....
still love my 13,5 - 5000mls runs awesome- great suspension!;-)
There’s a mint one clean one owner 2k miles never been sunk always taken care of for 9k should I do it
@Mudpro4life If your in the market for one that’s a great buy if it’s mint.
Do they have issues though
@@anthonybrown1823 Some of the older wildcats had problems with the starters and would cause the engine case to break. I believe with the 2015+ you are safe. I haven’t heard to many bad things about them other than possibly oil leaks in the engine.
I got a 2015 wildcat 1000x can I run 90 octane in it instead of 91
@Mudpro4life 90 should be fine, I’ve seen people run 87 in them but I’d get as close to the recommend octane as possible.
I’ve been trying to add a little octane booster every onece and a while
@@anthonybrown1823 That’s what I usually do if I can’t find 91.
I’m up here is Alaska the most we have is 90
Arctic Cat is truly a bottom of the barrel machine when compared to the other SXS’s on the market (other than Cfmoto). IMO I think the design is uglier than sin and I’ve seen more thought-out interior designs on matchbox cars. In a nutshell what I’m saying is they look like a harbor freight buggy. Very cheap looking and even their top machine producing a underwhelming 130hp. For roughly the same price I’d buy a much better quality machine like the Honda talon. I have a 22 can-am x3 rr and it’s performance and quality is fantastic.
And since Textron bought them out in in 2017 90% of the parts are discontinued what they have is just stock
