Quick question for the production team. Is the main reason most of the archival video footage is shown on the smaller older tv screens because it’s easier to film the tv screens playing them in the evidence room instead of having to bring back the tapes to the studio and connect old vhs players to computer devices to record the video or is it to keep other yt creators from stealing the video material if you were to make the archival video fully fill the screen. No disrespect intended. I love the aesthetic of the old tv’s but sometimes it makes it hard to see the footage because they are small and only occupy part of the screen.
I really appreciate that you were willing to show a certain level of actual crime scene photos because it really conveys what the victim went thru, what depraved monsters the criminals are. Hiding forensic evidence or censoring the actions of the criminal is only doing a disservice to the victim and not getting their story out and just protecting the criminals.. I know it's very harsh but it's unrealistic to think it's the right thing to hide difficult things from people just because we think it's too traumatic.. That's not how we learn, grow, sympathize, etc. It's difficult but if done right it can help us have more compassion and strength.
Jose Reyes was in my house a week before this happened. I knew I can feel evil on him. I told the person who brought him over there that she had to make him leave and then to see this happen. His mom lived in our same apartment complex she got put out, as soon as I figured out, it was him her and all her other kids. It was really sad for her. That little boy was very evil.

At 15 yrs old I was still playing football with my mates at every opportunity and although I was discovering girls and probably always trying to impress them I never, ever had thoughts or hurting anyone or breaking the law in any way....my dad would have knocked me in to next week if Id ever bring police to our front door. Jose Reyes lived in my complex next to my best friends apt but he was kicked out for graffiti. I remember the days I would walk to my friends apt and their door would always be wide open. The 15 year old girl was my classmate who went to my school, everyone knew her as a kind soul. It’s truly sad… the apt complex where she was murdered was infront of mine. Many friends of hers were posting on Facebook about her candle light, I pray she finds peace in heaven.

I STRONGLY suggest whoever is in charge of training American police, please STOP telling police that they only have to read Miranda rights if they're questioning the suspect. Jose Reyes lived in my complex next to my best friends apt but he was kicked out for graffiti. I remember the days I would walk to my friends apt and their door would always be wide open. The 15 year old girl was my classmate who went to my school, everyone knew her as a kind soul. It’s truly sad… the apt complex where she was murdered was infront of mine. Many friends of hers were posting on Facebook about her candle light, I pray she finds peace in heaven.

I STRONGLY suggest whoever is in charge of training American police, please STOP telling police that they only have to read Miranda rights if they're questioning the suspect. If any suspect (who you consider to be a suspect) starts confessing / talking about the crime (which is common when they're under arrest - especially juveniles), it will be thrown out because American police are currently only Mirandizing suspects immediately before questioning them, which is BS (watch any UA-cam video of a cop's bodycam). By the cops way of thinking, if they never question a suspect, that suspect would never have to be told their rights. Does that make sense to ANYONE??

I doubt Victor would have done any of that without José, he didn't have any of the tells once he started admitting to being involved yet José was going on about what he did to anyone near him. Victor should have taken off, maybe he would've just gotten a charge for rape. People getting pulled into bad or worse than intended crimes happens pretty often. It also sounds like José's mind is giving that solid kick off into full blown schizophrenia. If he does get out of prison on parole someday if he doesn't have the right kind of help to keep him on medication he'll end up back in for one reason or another, hopefully it isn't another murder.

I know it's NOT her mother) at the memorial barely sheds a tear when the reporter asks her how the family is holding up. "And we know that she's in a better place?!!!" If you've ever lost someone that WASN'T on death's doorstep suffering from say cancer...but was healthy and doing well and had a bright future have you ever ONCE heard anyone, EVER, say about them "they're in a better place" ?!!!! Maybe "she died too young" or "life isn't fair it always takes the young" or "she had so much to live for" but better place...?!!!! Nah, what the puck?!!! I've had a murdered mom, a stepbrother who committed suicide, another brother who died in a Harley accident. And a brother with AIDS. Lost my best friend to AIDS and another to manic depression and I just lost my father...and only one of those deaths did we say, "he was in a better place" and that's my dad dying at 87 in January suffering from stage iv. I think Coriann all across the board got a bum deal. A relatively uninvolved family enjoying the spotlight her death brought and these monsters that killed her...she was treated unfairly, unkindly and denigrated, humiliated and torn apart...she deserved better. And here's a hint...if you make a deal with The Devil remember you will always lose. The Devil will always win.
