I am a person that can’t lie. I’m so bad at it that people know instantly I’m lying so I’m just honest. However, this woman would lie just because she thinks she can.
@@RicheetheBee I hope you are not implying I’m not smart enough to lie. I just hate lying. However, if you are saying that some people are not smart enough to lie then I agree. Look at these morons filming themselves committing crimes then try to say they didn’t do it.
I worked at Coca-Cola at the same time as this woman. She seemed very loud and wanted to draw attention to herself. I never thought she would be capable of murder though!
I love this defense attorney. None of that “this is a travesty of justice, my client is an angel.” I feel like defense attorneys on crime shows are usually clownish and this dude’s reasonable and bummed out.
This is the reason why I don't date women that drinks..no bars no party drinking, ..that garbage makes you crazy.i bet he wanted her out, and she was so drunk she went nuts ..
@@keithgrant-fn9tg I think it's the people drinking that can't handle their alcohol, if I'm being fair. I know many folks that drink and are perfectly normal. But when bad people drink, their personality comes out even worse. So I just avoid alcohol in general and am careful about the men in around too.
Thank you for the absolutely brilliant coverage on this crime. I have seen other presentations but have learnt so much more watching this. Fascinating.
I'm just reading the book about this story by Kathryn Casey, and what is missing in this documentary is the context of madness into which this woman lives, Voodoo, superstitions of all kinds, sometimes she seems to some friends of her horribly crazy, very menacing and diabolical. And she sleeps with every man she can if he will give her money or a shelter. She as abandoned her two daugthers and lives a life of a quasi prostitute. And her victim is a quiet man who only wants one thing : for her to disappear from his life, for he is afraid of her, and ashamed by her.
Where are here bruises if he was hitting her so much? What she described would have been at least a black eye and scratches on her. If he was being violent there would have been video evidence of it. Plus how did the blood get all over her pants but very little blood on her upper body? Clearly she was straddling him as she beat him.
Looking at her in this interrogation room her actions are not adding up that is a cold killer you are looking at 😢 she did mean to kill him at any given time or anybody this woman is mentally cruel she may not plan to but her mind ment to do it because she have the intention
I have to agree with the prosecutor at the end. There is a lot of work society needs to do regarding domestic violence against men. It's underreported to the police, underreported by the media, and underfunded in research.
I love the prosecutor especially when he said if a man kill a woman automatically the jury can find him guilty. When you flip it and a woman kills a man the first question you ask is what happened. I find that very unfair just like the prosecutor said he was dead on. Women get the sympathy and men don't basically. This lady was very violent
While that is true and things are slowly starting to balance out legally, you cannot dismiss the incredibly high numbers of men abusing and killing their partners over the decades in comparison to the other way around. They are assumed guilty or at least suspicious for a reason. Statistically, men are the aggressors. That is a man's struggle to change that. In the meantime, I believe society has changed sufficiently now to accept that women also commit abuse and murder of intimate partners. Still doesn't change the stats though. Men are still many times more often violent than women.
It seems that in most cases alcohol, drugs, and sexual promiscuity are always the start to a crime happening with domestic partners. The messed up part is you only get to hear one side. Never tell any abuser you are leaving just get out and don’t lead them on either. Her defense attorney sucks he doesn’t seem like he believed her at all.
Look I'm no grammar nazi, but ffs with all the like this like that he was like I was like everywhere a like like... sheesh woman tell me you're guilty without telling me you're guilty... I don't know how much more of this I can take y'all. lolz
Damn is the defense attorney secretly apart of the prosecution. Lol. There’s so many times throughout this his explanations/defense do more to hurt his client than help.
Her story is ridiculous! “And then he grabbed me and I was like…and then he grabbed me…and then he grabbed me…”this man must’ve had 72 arms! 😂 “then I saw he was bleeding” “could you tell where he was bleeding from?” “No, I didn’t even see the blood.” What?!?! 🤦🏻♂️
Sooo guilty from the first strike of the stiletto The blood pattern on her jeans, wow. His face looked like Swiss cheese. Her known character and attitude from acquaintances. Poor stage performance of lying. I knew she was guilty from the minute she opened her mouth. And knew she was guilty from the blood pattern on her jeans.....plainly shows she was was a stride him and striking him relentlessly. Over kill. The saturation of blood and the areas of saturation.....she was enjoying a killing high. Poor man.
We will never know, only two persons know, said prosecutor. Exactly. But he had no problem claiming all what he claims like he knows what happened. He doesn't.
If a woman is claiming domestic violence/self-defense, she should have another woman representing her. That attorney appeared to not have a care in the world.
Well that's the only attorney she could afford. You get what you pay for. It's not that he's a man and doesn't understand domestic violence towards women. It's just that he wanted to win the case. He said it was his biggest case, and he seemed sad that he lost it so pitifully. I don't think in his heart he believed her. But he cannot say that on camera. She obviously is guilty. Must be hard to be a defence attorney when your client is as difficult as her. Her character is repulsive to most people and it's very obvious. She'll fit in very well in prison.

love the Evidence Room it is so well put together. Watching from Montreal Canada.
Thank you for watching,@@rubydawn1!
The irony of a criminal defence attorney saying that some people just don't know how to lie. Funniest thing I've heard this year!
I am a person that can’t lie. I’m so bad at it that people know instantly I’m lying so I’m just honest. However, this woman would lie just because she thinks she can.
It’s truth though
@@Bethlamit’s not about morally can’t . Like educationally can’t just not smart enough to

Some people should NEVER touch alcohol. They become wild animals.

Exactly why I don't be with men that drink. Men are dangerous enough sober let alone drunk.
@@HeatherBoo916 can we both agree alcohol is the issue here

Thank u for this context, I think people habits and background can help alot in determining motives xx
Also, this is the 3rd time I've seen this prosecutor in this series 😮 He was a busy man.
Because all the cases are in the same area lol all the evidence is in a county storage room.
Her interview LOL she seriously sounds like she's making it up as she goes along. What the heck is wrong with this woman?
Thank goodness for public statements of people that engaged with her, because Jack carrol would have let her go and bought her a new pair of stilletos
Very well excplained..she is damaged...most probably got a mental inbalanced fired on with alchol use and did live a very disconected life

Great reporting. The prosecuter offered much to think about. TY for posting this episode.
Oh wow. This is fascinating 😮
Thanks for watching!
First defense attorney ever that I didn't hate. I think he's just too empathetic and just couldn't give up on her. He seems very kind.

Was her “Ambulance Chasing Lawyer” on the show for comic relief? I laughed a few times when he spoke.

Yep and they always go to the “he was abusing me” card.

Background Music too loud
She can’t even complete a sentence. Where’s all the bruises she supposedly sustained. Alcohol should be illegal.

Why would a seemingly nice college professor be involved with this trash in the first place?

Because many DAs have political ambitions they are not interested in right and wrong. They are interested in winning.

Evidence painted a clear enough picture. I see comments like yours and and I hope a jury summons never hits your mailbox
Yeah because that’s his job 😂
Sounds like a Melody Walker Farris. 🤷♀️ talks about everything else but….
Blood spatter as main evidence? Well since they had no other. All what prosecution claimed here is irelevant for the case.

Sorry to say but this is very traumatizing she is hateful
What a weapon !!! 👠 !!! 😂

I’m just surprised the heel didn’t break
By the sounds of it, this was a self-defence homicide. And she would have been the victim if she had not acted in self-defence.

When you're scared I can see someone hitting or stabbing someone else that many times I don't blame her if that is really what happened
It didn't happen that way.
