I haven't met Gareth before but Daniel is always such a lovely positive person to chat to, gutted to have missed him at this Superbooth as those quick little chats we've had have always been great.
14 years on from having cancer ,Gareth looks great.2 mega legends of electronic music .Last time I saw Daniel ,he was at the Kraftwerk gig at Tate Modern.Love for both of these guys. Please checkout Sunroof's great work.
These two should definitely reunite with DM for their next LP. That has been my dream since I've first heard Sunroof's remix for Can. Proper producers with massive experience and an imagination to match. The result could be perhaps the most exciting Depeche Mode album since "Ultra"? Let it happen, please.
@@sivabala5425 Agreed. Their last LP is IMO the worst thing they ever made. I mean everyone's aging but come on, look at Soft Cell for instance. Their latest singles are excellent.
I like Nick, he´s my favorite synth reviewer, but here I can't help but feel that at times he seems to be underestimating the capabilities of the interviewees. Some moments (like asking about "complicated technical equipment to use") sound a bit like asking your 90-year-old grandpa if it's hard for him to access his Instagram account on a smartphone.

Great people, I met them both in Berlin last night. I felt deeply honored to meet these electronic music pioneers.
O yeah! Legends. Great to see them together!
Thanks.
I feel only pure love for these guys! Thanks for the interview!
Legends both and incredibly humble and lovely people to boot!! Great to see this rundown

I believe I was the first DJ in the US to play TVOD. Always been a hero to me, Daniel.
Love their music

Sadly, unlikely as DM is now a cabaret act

People complain about the loss of Alan Wilder, but Jones and Miller were Depeche Mode’s secret weapon in the mid-80s.
@@jmdavison62They sure were.
Cool to see wo legends having fun! Great video!
Nick, Thank you for this superb interview!
Legends! Would be so happy for a collab with DM or maybe with Alan's Recoil.
Gareth does THE best Nigel Tufnel voice impersonation.
It goes up to 11
It only goes to show how great Christopher Guest was in faking the British accent.
three of a perfect pair
Cheers Gareth. I also love Flensburger Beer! ;)
2 real legends!
Nice! Cool way to work and inspiring to see these guys at it. ❤️🔥👏🏻 Also nice Thai see a 1010music sampler in there.

Well it was in the context of them going for a simplified setup... 😁
great interview. 2 of my heroes. sadly more innovative than the past innovative band they worked with.
Played warm leatherette?
No, it was an improvised set
..all that gear and their song sounds like someone left an amp on and forget to unplug an electric guitar..
