Edit: it amazes me that people still think that spiders can't "swim"....all the hair makes them kinda naturally buoyant
Only one that I know of that has any problems with swimming are theraphosa because they are so heavy they just sink.

Really good video Bethany. I have 3 H. gigas got them all from mystery boxes. 2 are fine never had problems with them but my largest likes to bolt so so have called it Basel Bolty and it lives in Bolty towers 😂😂 I did my first ever breeding 2 days ago which was N. incei and it went really well, hopefully I will get an egg sac.

Have you seen Tarantula Guys H Gigas water enclosure, H gigas was my 1st T every know and then I used to give it bits of raw steak they grow fast is an under statement, loving the channel. 👍

@@BethanysSpiders 🖐❤️👍 Yes I love both cats and dogs Bethany. I had two more cats but they are sadly gone to cat heaven now. We, my husband and I miss them both! We have always had animals in our home, everything from rabbits, a squirrel, chinchillas, birds and cats and even a tarantula. My family had dogs and a parrot too! Hi Bethany, there is a company called tarantula cribs located in the U.S and they ship internationally, if your interested I would highly check them out they have amazing enclosures. They have one called the fossorial and arboreal 360 enclosures and they are amazing!
They are really cool, over here in the UK we have a company called tarantula room which makes enclosures but I'm not sure if they ship internationally.
@@ethanmccormack9561 ahh, I’ll have to check. It’s still expensive for me to convert to all those nice enclosures but I bought 3 to try out and I have 2 OBTs in there plus my adult E murinus and they seem to love it

What are your thoughts on keeping this species communal? I have 1 housed seperately but also have a communal of 5.
