It occurs to me now that there no quests with both Malzeno and Shagaru in at the same time. Maybe they’ll fix the no turf wars thing next month with the dual threat of Malzeno vs Shagaru.

Ah yes, Shagaru Magala. My first MH final boss back in 4U. While Shagaru's weapons are good but not stellar, Shagaru's armor is awesome, as it is the first home of one of the Sunbreak's most powerful armor skills - the three-rank skill known as Bloodlust. When you enter combat with a large monster, you immediately contract the Frenzy. However, this is different from the one the Magalas can give you in five ways: 1) You slowly lose health while you have the Frenzy, but you cannot faint from the damage, stopping at 1 HP if you allow it to drop all the way. 2) The gauge for failing to overcome the Frenzy fills up more slowly, and you can overcome the Virus much faster. 3) While you have the Frenzy, you gain boosts to your raw attack, element damage and status buildup based on how many ranks of the skill you have: with one, you get +10 raw, +5 element and +5 status; with two you get +15, +7 and +7 respectively; and with three you get +20, +10 and +10; 4) When you overcome the Frenzy, you get a bigger and/or longer-lasting boost than normal to your affinity: with one rank, you get +20% affinity for 60 seconds; with two, you get +25% affinity for 60 seconds; with three, you get +25% affinity for 90 seconds. 5) When you overcome the Frenzy, all of your red health immediately gets turned to green. The best part? As soon as that 60-90 seconds after clearing the Frenzy is over, you immediately get it again if you're near a large monster, starting the cycle over again. As a negative ailment with positive benefits similar to Bubbleblight, it is in your best interest to combine it with skills like Resuscitate and Coalescence (which Shagaru's armor also has) to improve your damage even more while having the Virus and maintain the benefits of having the Virus after overcoming it. Skills that involve having red health like Resentment and the newly released Strife also benefit from Bloodlust's slow health drain. But most significantly, you pretty much need this skill if you plan to use Chaotic Gore Magala's weapons, as their full power only comes out when you overcome the Frenzy.
What would make it even better is if you included that one version of the song with lyrics! Look up "Cathar Song" and it should be one of the first few results to pop up. It was made by a French Monster Hunter youtuber!
The biggest oversight for me with the magalas all back in rise is why the fuck didn't risen shagaru get his own theme? I feel like given he's a monster carrying both frenzy and quorios he should have at least gotten a remixed version of rises remake... cmon he's even the final boss of master rank...
