Being stuck in a marina completing boat work is not much fun. A 2 day job taking 12 does not get the happy vibes flowing either... To now have the new engine mounts and coupling installed, we are free again! Let's see if the upgrade was worth it!
Life at anchor is so much happier, being stuck with a disabled boat really makes you down in the dumps. Being confined to a marina amplifies those feelings. To now have the engine upgrades finished we are back to life at anchor as we prepare to sail south for more boatwork.

Jumping out on a J105 tomorrow morning in Annapolis. Sailing 55+ yrs and loving it as much as ever. Best passage in my books was Bermuda to NYC aboard a 35 ft sloop. We saw everything from becalmed to 15 ft seas. What a hoot!

And at 10:10 while dad cleans the anchor, you can see Tallula is up for the job of new video producer! Adorable!💛 She's basically copying what she sees mum and dad do with the camera - but in "Lula Language"! LOL! It's that age where they just want to copy everything they see their parents do. 8.3 knots that’s amazing quick , really good work mate that’s on the ticket , that engine mount job is a bugger no one wants to do that job , it’s always put off , that a a credit to you it’s just struck me that you’ve come a long way as a marine engineer , you’re a terriffic mech . Now that most all the repairs are done, and the boat is working well, it is a very impressive craft.

Mate, I replaced my electric toilets with chemical camping ones a few years ago, self contained, no issues and mainly for number twos and a few less holes in the boat.

I know very well the job of re-naming a boat. The spring of 1972, I bought a 24 foot cabin cruiser, ( was 19 years old and single) the name of the boat was the "COFFEY BREAK". After removing the appropriate letters, the boat was renamed the "OFF BRA". That little boat was well known in the Seattle area. I can't remember all of "their" names, but none of the "crew members" would become my wife.
Thanks for allowing me to escape land file for a few minutes. Also, I think I need to check my motor mounts. Thanks again!!

Yes:: I agree,, doing a job and getting it done is a great feeling . Yes , But the biggest thing is getting it done right with good Parts ,,,,,, the first time around is the only way. Those flamin dumnnies are terrible eh? There was a white worth’s special a little time ago and they were $280 bucks for a tlc toilet complete, wish I’d done that instead of later being stuck with the repair . This is a really good video clip mates good work .
