Finally Inidia's naval upgradation took the rignt path to take the long due course correction route. Aircraft carriers might look flamboyant and overwhelming to the eyes but nothing is better than those silent subs that can kill any big sea giant in a quick succession while maintaining the detterance for the land at much lower costs.
French tech is top-notch undoutedly what we need to do is choose one class of subs and imbibe every fuckin single knowledge and manuverability about it.
Coz more than show off what we need is stability and those ready made subs with a little upgradation can become handy for India.
Opting to acquire a few nuclear submarines instead of investing in another aircraft carrier would demonstrate prudent judgment. Additionally, it is advisable to explore the possibility of fortifying maritime capabilities and establishing an effective anti-air defense strategy in the Andaman Islands.

Nuclear submarines are a huge mistake for India. The French make excellent conventional submarines that work very well in shallower waters. People forget that nuclear submarines can only stay "down" as long as they have food and toilet paper onboard. And nuclear subs don't carry more of either from conventional subs.
The French don't use conventional submarine . Well we can stuff the sub with food and we don't need toilet papers water will do even sea water .
And we already operate nuclear ssbn .

Indians should keep in mind a few things. 1) Long term historical rivalry between France and Britain, 2) Recent and upcoming strategic failings of France engineered by the UK, notably regarding energy, 3) The reality that useful modern 'weapons' do not include expensive nuclear submarines. 50 years ago these were important weapons. Today a country can spend one ten thousandth the money to build sea drones that have much more developed capabilities. Such an expensive deal today has no strategic implications. It only means there are still corrupt people in the defense decision chain.

The really effective deterrent would be 500 nuclear weapons with ballistic cruise missiles (manoeuvring till the end) and supersonic cruise missiles. Even low yield weapons with reactor grade plutonium would be effective. The Chinese cannot stop mass-swarming attacks AND those yields (even a few kilotons each) would be more powerful than conventional weapons.
