Like the title says, watch this video before visiting. We feel that It's very important to know your destination before visiting, this video will help you decide if this is the perfect place for you.
On this video, you will learn the basics about these beautiful north Atlantic Portuguese islands. Learn about the nature, location, people, food, activities, weather, flights and much more. You will also know why we love this area so much, and why its perfect for a lot of people, but not all.
Spend time on the coast with me, and get a feel of what these islands are all about. Not too many places left on the planet, like the Azores.

Just would like to say , I really enjoy your videos and commentary. Last year , I travelled to sao Miguel. My parents are from there. Took my wife and. Son and my parents back for a holiday and it was incredible… all the islands ( including Pico ) look spec tac u lar. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. ❤

Terceira has beaches, especially in Praia da Vitoria and so does Santa Maria.
That is correct; I have been to beaches in Terceira, Sao Miguel and Faial, still have to go to Santa Maria, Graciosa etc. etc. If you paid close attention, I said no white sand beaches. If you know of any, please advise the location.
I believe Santa Maria has a white sand beach.
It's a nice light gold beach. Thank God there are not typical white beaches like those at other mass tourism destinations. Azores is better and safe from crazybess like in other places.. Take care!
Love the Azores, well actually only been to Pico, but fell in love immediately. Will be there April 6th for 3 weeks, can't wait. Hope to at least see Faial this time. Hey Carlos and laurel thank you for your videos me and my wife’s cousin are buying house in pico even though I’m from sao Miguel like the slower pace of life hopefully i can get some of your contracts to help fix up house really enjoy your videos

At the moment we are looking for a worker to finish the job, the last guy left us hanging. As for other contacts we used, here are the main ones. The notary is Ivo at (notaria Vanda Fraga), and our banker (Hugo at Santander in Lajes). I hope this helps. Regarding night clubs…Terçeira and São Miguél have them (not certain about other islands but they might also have them).
You are correct, Sao Miguel & Terceira probably have the most and bigger scale. The smaller islands will have small discos. Take care!
Very nice vid. Sounds what I like slow pace. Question if anyone knows how’s general aviation private pilot community. I’m private pilot like to fly.
It is very slow pace, overall. I'm sorry but we don't have any information on private aviation, it does exist. Probably best to get a hold of someone in that department(airport authorities etc). Cheers!

You should visit the other islands before you make comments about certain things.
I have visited most of them. Not sure what things you are referring too, maybe be a bit more specific. Please remember we comment based on our experience, your & others might have a different take on things. Appreciate you taking the time to comment, Saude!!!
