Quick Look: Adobe Super Resolution

There's a new artificial intelligence game in town. Can it help my 6-megapixel Epson R-D1 punch it out against 24-megapixel cameras when it comes to print quality?

And here are some JPEG conversions of old Epson R-D1 photos upsampled with Adobe Super Res. I didn't supply any comparison photos, because the point isn't to compare them to the 6-megapixel versions... the point is, if they were your photos, would you be satisfied with the conversions in terms of artifacts, transition between in-focus and out-of-focus areas, etc.?

Nice and useful comparison - thanks for your work. Lovely camera... i hope to obtain one, but i'm afraid that my Oly E-1, which is also kinda magic, will hate me for the competition. Lkd&Subd. All the best from a cabin in a swamp in a rainforest in New Zealand.
