I'm so impressed with Battle Horse and LT Wright that I no longer think about other brands. The quality for the price is amazing. The Patriot Scout is perfect their Slug is an EDC dream. I get positive comments almost daily when using the Slug at work.

Many will call these knives bushcraft knives. I personally call them Mountain Men Knives. By the way, I trademarked Mountain Man Knives for my future knife company. LOL

Great looking knives bro. I don't own any by them, but I do have an LT Wright knife, and he got his start working at Battle Horse, and you can see the inspiration in his knives from his time there. A lot of his designs look similar to BHK. I'm a big Bark River guy myself, but we all have our favorites. Nothing wrong with any of the great ones. I'd like to expand my fixed blade collection..I only have 15 of them, which is small compared to my folders and traditionals. One of the things I like about your channel, besides your enthusiasm and love of knives, is the fact you do some of everything. Fixed blades, traditional knives, and modern folders. Most channels just focus on folders, but you're like me, you apparently love ALL things sharp and pointy. I love that about you bro..keep'em coming!

Please understand, LT Wright did not get his start at Battle Horse. He was part owner of a Blind Horse Knives with the owner of Battle Horse Dan. They decide to go their separate ways and they dissolved Blind Horse Knives. Dan started Battle Horse Knives and LT started LT Wright Handmande Knives. They did agree to continue make the same type of knives for both companies as the knives were their creations when together. That's why you see the same styles from both companies.

Love that SNH, it is a unicorn knife as they don't put out the flat grind anymore. Been looking for one forever...

Their handles remind me of LT Wright's handles a lot. I haven't owned a Battle Horse but I do have an LT Wright and a few Bark River Knives and I love them!

I prefer LT Wright personally. Battle horse has gone down in fit and finish over the past few years. My all time favorite knife maker is William Collins. Nobody makes better fixed blades than William in my opinion. His knives are second to none. But they are a bit more expensive than battle horse or LT. His AEB-L is the best knife steel I've ever worked with. Holds an edge like 35vn but sharpens up just like 01 tool steel. They never rust on me when I go fishing in the ocean. I also enjoy knives from Dave over at the Pathfinder knife store. Best bang for your buck knives you can buy. His heat treat with 1095 is amazing and his designs are solid. If you can't afford a $200 custom but have around $100 for something nice get a knife from Dave. Anyways good video. The woodsman pro definitely is a winner from bhk. I only have their SISU in my collection. I have a few blind horse knives that are pathfinder logoed. The PLSK1 is my favorite.

Agree with you on the William Collins comment. He's a knife design genius and he has surpassed just about every knife maker I can think of, and it's not even close.
