Made even better by the set up with the frog. The frog was so funny, tiny body and small arms. And then the dinosaur, big body and still small arms. XD I remember them using the Dino joke in all the advertisements and while it was funny, the movie just builds up to it so well.
I do the little talking thing sometimes with other people, muffling my voice and shaking my arms. People still laugh with me about it. Meet the Robinson's was the movie that made me feel like I was going to be able to do anything, and I really wanted to be Lewis/Cornelius when I grew up. It's unfortunate that because of how my life actually turned out, I can't watch the movie anymore, because it feels like I failed, and that I was lying to myself.
Can we talk about how cute is the fact of him feeling touched by the movie because he also wants to adopt in the future? I'm sorry but that's the sweetest thing I've ever seen 💖
That made my heart squeeze because I also want to adopt in the future! I have this weird calling to provide for an adopted child, it makes my heart feel full. And I'm only 18 lmao
Utmost respect to people that adopt. If I ever change my mind about not wanting kids then I would adopt. I'd prefer to give someone that already exists love/family than bring another person into this cruel and confusing world. It's the same with pets, adopt rescues rather than buy from a breeder.
What?!! Was this movie actually underrated?!!! Wth, it’s one of my favorite movies ever since I saw it for the first time as a kid 😭❤️❤️❤️ I’m definitely making my future kids watch this someday 😭 It’s so beautiful and the message really touching ✨✨
If you listen really closely at the beginning of the movie, you can hear someone slip on the wet sidewalk and run away when Lewis’s mother hugs him goodbye. That was present day Lewis when he slipped on the steps.
One of best Disney movies in my opinion ! It made me cry to see Lewis get accepted to the Robinsons family ! Such a crazy twist that Lewis was Wilbur's father and Bowler Hat Guy was Goober !
The part where Lewis failed his machine miserably and the family CELEBRATED it as it was an opportunity to learn and one step closer to success is SO IMPORTANT to kids and adults alike!! It's definitely something I struggle with myself. And honestly, I have felt called to adopt one day myself - so I'm hoping this is a movie I will get to enjoy with my own kid at some point. 💖 And I feel like Walt Disney would have LOVED this movie. He was so passionate about innovation and invention.
Heya PixarShark! Fellow subscriber to both you and Cody here! I love watching your reactions to MLP too! But I definitely have to agree with your point about celebrating and moving forward from failure as a valuable lesson from this amazing movie. Too often I'm my own worst critic and just find myself beating myself up over mistakes and poor decisions I've made instead of learning from them.... this can lead to a dark, detrimental spiral of destroying my self worth and confidence.... and ultimately, led me to some of my struggles with mental health as of recently... I too love inventing, creativity and designing, so I really related to Lewis in this movie... it hits hard. In fact, one day, I hope to engineer and design my own theme park! So Walt Disney is often a source of inspiration to me. I'm definitely more open to adopting at some point too because of movies like this. Obviously I'd love to find a wife whom I could also have biological kids with as well, but that doesn't rule out the possibility of adopting at all for me, instead, it inspires it more too! Anyhay, thought I'd just share my brief thoughts with ya, since I see ya around a lot of my favorite UA-camr's channels as well. Have a blessed day! :D :3
Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. -Walt Disney
Treasure planet, brother bear and meet the Robinson are those movies that Disney released that didn’t get the recognition it deserves even though it has the most realistic messages
The woman, Mildred, who took care of orphans was in Lucille’s memory of the day she got married as a bridesmaid. She’s the woman on the left. It’s like a little Easter egg if you pay attention.
I always liked this movie when I saw it as a kid and now as an adult I can really understand the message. It reminds me a lot of the quote from the Soothsayer from Kung Fu Panda 2 "Your story may not have had such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story: who you choose to be."
That quote from Walt Disney at the end always inspired and encouraged me to keep pursuing my goals, mainly my goal of becoming a professional animator. Even now when I’m in animation college, I’m still reminded to “keep moving forward” to reaching my goals every time I watch animated films.🙂
I haven't slept in 8 days! I got the caffeine patch! Each patch is equivalent to 12 cups of coffee! You can stay awake for days with no side effects! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Sorry.
Keep moving forward was going to be my senior quote but I missed a day and that had me give them three and they picked”the roof isn’t my son but imma raise it.”
This is by far one of Disney's greatest films. It's so touching with its message of continuing to move forward and found families which makes my heart soar. Absolutely a timeless film.
My favorite part of the whole movie is still when Louis grabs Wilbur's ear and says 'May I remind you, that I'm your father, and you have to do what I say' XDDD I always crack up at that
Absolutely on of Disney's best films. Really good message, awesome story, great comedy. The Tom Selick gag kills me every single time. And ending it with an actual Walt quote that fed the message of the film was powerful too. This one doesn't get watched enough. Glad you did.
My comfort film. Whenever I'm sad, I go after this movie to watch it. One of the most beautiful and exciting in the history of animations. It deserved much more recognition. You need to watch The Emperor's New Groove. It is another film that I love. Top of the comedy.
I have a fan theory about this movie: In the flashback to Lucille’s wedding (22:46), there are two bridesmaids. The one on the left looks remarkably similar to Mildred, the orphanage matron. I think the other bridesmaid is either 1) Franny’s mother (the resemblance!) or 2) Lewis’ birth mother. If the latter (which is my favorite idea), this means that Lewis’ mother brought her son to the orphanage that her (possibly former) friend ran. Seeing how reluctant she was to leave Lewis, it would make the transition slightly easier to know he would be taken care of by someone she knew she could trust. And then, Mildred, after seeing Lewis face so many disappointing appointments with potential parents, sets up one final meeting: Lucille and Bud, two eccentric souls who might be the perfect fit for a brilliant boy. However, Lucille had no idea that Fate would bring Lucille and Lewis together in an even more magical way.
Fun Fact: The voice of Lucille the woman who adopts Lewis is the same actress who voiced Andy’s mom in Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, and Toy Story 4.
3:40 /3:41 based on the two frames we got on her arm, she has around 12-16 patches on That would mean she has roughly around 144 to 180 cups of coffee in her system (assuming it’s only on one arm)
This is my favorite movie, honestly every since watching this as a kid I always tell myself I wanted to adopt when I grow up. I'm now an adult and I'm not ready to have a family of my own and adopt kids and give them the family they deserves. Also always love your reaction. We'll keep supporting you.
That song at the ending of the movie brings so many memories from when I was 7 to 8 years old and I wish I could relive those days just to see how far I've come
Man I love this movie. It was my first ever "Glimpse at the future" spectacle I ever had. I watch it now and of course see more flaws but it's incredible how different the experience was. I still tear up at the end, all wrapped nicely up with Rob Thomas' excellent song. Truly an excellent, underrated movie.
I think the difficulty with time travel movies is that nobody really knows how time travel works exactly and you have to ascribe to a theory and stick to it. If people try to get the most correct version of time travel, they are often confuse things when really what's important is it consistent internal logic
This was a movie I watched all the time when I was younger and my admiration for it grows more and more with every passing year. Definitely one of my favorites from Disney and gave us all a message we needed to hear.
the joke of “they all hated me” is both hilarious and so dark. it shows how only focusing on this one thing and not growing at all leads to this massive depression and then anger and aggression in a childlike manner
This movie really touched my younger self when I first watch it. What made be scared was when Wilber got swooped into the clouds... but that scene where Louis almost met his mother, was what crushed me the most, emotionally. 😭😭🤧
This movie meant so much to me when it came out. I was I think 11, and I think I saw it maybe 8 times in theatres, I just adored the found family and love Lewis finds. Made me want to adopt.
i think this movie is rlly underrated lol, when i watched this 4 years ago by accident, i really liked it and i was just like "why haven't i heard about this movie before?"
Not so fun fact: Disney cancelled a sequel that they had in the works. (If i recall correctly, it was cancelled when Disney's Animation Studios department changed CEO's. And it's also the reason why there isn't a Chicken Little 2.)
This movie was a big part of my childhood, I remember when it was on tv and me and my family would sit down, eating pizza and just enjoy our time. In one word... UNDERRATED
when I first watched this I kind of figured out the "bowler hat guy" was Goober, but I did NOT expect Lewis to be Wilbur's dad, I was so surprised like :0. Also the reason why they hid his hair is either because Future lewis had the same hair or because maybe no one uses that hairstyle? idk tbh
I'm so glad you popped up in my recommendations. This has been one of my favourite movies since I first saw it. What you said about adoption and how this is so relevant to you, it's super touching as well. :)
Obvious joke is obvious, but Wilbur said Cornelius looked like Tom Selleck, and when Cornelius shows up at the end, he's actually voiced by Tom Selleck.
Man I remember watching these Disney movies when I was younger and rewatching them now that I am an adult and that I understand the message behind them just hit so much differently! This movie was amazing.
This might be favorite Disney movie as it teaches me about all we could do if we just let go of the past, Awesome reaction, dude! P.s. this is also my mom’s favorites, she even has little wonders on her playlist.
POV: You’re cozied up on the living room floor watching one of the most emotional Disney movies of all time, the glow of the TV illuminating your space as Meet the Robinsons unfolds before your eyes. One of your favorite animated films of all time is born. The song will forever make you feel some kind of way. The emotional weight of this Disney masterpiece wraps around you like a warm blanket, and the soundtrack hits you right in the feels, the soundtrack is impacting you on a spiritual level. This isn’t just a movie; it’s an experience, a moment frozen in time where your favorite animated film is brought to life. And then it happens-the song “Little Wonders” plays. Suddenly, you’re transported. Every note and lyric resonates deep within your soul, tugging at your heartstrings with an intensity that feels almost spiritual. The message of cherishing life’s small moments echoes in your mind, reminding you that it’s these little wonders that shape our existence. Yes, all these lives ARE made in these small hours. You might not know this yet, but the songwriter penned this piece inspired by his dog, capturing the essence of joy found in the simplest of things. Those “little wonders” represent the small moments that bring happiness, whether it’s a wagging tail, a gentle nudge, or the pure love that comes from companionship. It’s the kind of song that lingers long after the credits roll, leaving a profound impact that has you reaching for tissues. Each listen brings a fresh wave of emotion, reminding you of the beauty in everyday life. You can’t help but feel overwhelmed, tears streaming down your cheeks, because this song encapsulates everything you love about the film and the connection we share with those we hold dear. “Little Wonders” is more than just a track; it’s a celebration of life’s fleeting moments, a reminder to embrace every little joy. As the final notes fade, you know this song will forever hold a special place in your heart, etching itself into the tapestry of your memories and experiences. It’s a reminder that amidst the chaos of life, it’s the small things that truly matter. The song "Little Wonders" is a beautiful reflection of the film's central themes-growth, family, and cherishing the small moments that make life meaningful. The poignant lyrics serve as a reminder that life’s true beauty often lies in those little experiences we sometimes take for granted. Whether it's the warmth of a hug, a shared laugh, or a quiet moment with loved ones, these small hours are what truly shape our lives. Knowing that the song was inspired by the simple joys of a dog adds an even richer layer of meaning. Pets bring so much unconditional love and joy into our lives, and the song beautifully encapsulates that essence. It resonates with anyone who has ever experienced the loyalty and companionship of a beloved pet, making it relatable to a wide audience.
I so loved this movie, the end scene when he is adopted, and the music that they put with it gets me every time. I just wish that when his future self sees his younger self with the family, that he made some comment like, "Oh, that was today wasn't it?" Since he lived through it already, but forgot exactly when it happened.
I'm really glad you liked this... It's been near and dear to my heart since we saw in theaters all those years ago, and while my mother and sister were bedazzled by the 3D effect (this was one of the first movies to offer it), I was drawn in by the story and its wacky cast and their interactions and relationships. I'm glad I got to love the movie for what it was rather than the effects I couldn't see. My left eye is lazy so I can't focus, and the 3D aspect therefore went right over my head. I've never been so grateful for my eye issues.
Little back story about this movie. It was inspired by Walt Disney's childhood and the whole keep moving forward thing was inspired by his most famous quote "Around here, we don't look backwards for very long.... We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things because we're curious.... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths"
This is hands down one of the most underrated Disney movies and my personal favorite. As a former foster child this movie hits close to home. When he calls Frannie "mom" by mistake I tear up every time. I too want to adopt as well so I feel you on that. This movie is just all around amazing and has all the feels 🥰 great reaction as always and good picking up on all the subtleties.
Awww this movie is an underrated treasure. I grew up watching this with my dad and we just can’t get enough of Goob, he’s just so ridiculous. XD Not to mention the overall lesson about keep moving forward is so important, especially for those who are too hard on themselves or give up too quickly. As always, loved your reaction. Looking forward to Raya on friday, hopefully you like it! :)
As someone who is unable to have her own kids due to some health issues, this movie hits me pretty hard. It's has such a great message, and it makes me excited for my future. I hope to make a difference in the lives of the kid(s) I adopt, much like the scientist lady and her husband did with Lewis when they adopted him.
i watched this movie once or twice when i was a kid and never forgot about it even the song... still know it by heart. this movie really did something to me
If you pay really close attention to the sounds in the opening scene, and the scene where Lewis goes back in time to see his mom, you'd realize that they actually sync up perfectly, in that Lewis was the noise that spooks his mom, as well as the one who knocked on the door in the beginning, after he'd already done everything.
I have very little arms and quote this movie all the time. This movie is extra special knowing that Walts oldest daughter was adopted herself. He would have loved this movie.
Wow, Nice Reaction of Meet the Robinsons, one of my third favorite Disney animated movies ever since Dinosaur 2000 and The Lion King 1994 and this still holds up and tells us very good and important message like Keep Moving Forward.
This is easily one of my favorite Disney films, and one of the rare examples on that list of favorites that wasn't from my childhood. The very last segment with the Walt Disney quote is always an emotional beat for me.
Yeah, this movie gets me every single time 😭 My favorite part is when, Louis had to knock on the orphanage door. Taking responsibility for himself despite his circumstances.
This is a movie that has always spoken to me like no other. I'm so happy that you saw it Anyway, I can't wait for your Raya reaction. I already sort of forgot that you could see it right now because it never came to theatres
Hey everyone! Thanks for watching my Reaction to Meet The Robinsons! I will see you Friday for... Raya and The Last Dragon!
I didn't see that coming

“I have a big head and little arms, and I’m just not sure how well this plan was thought through...”
Still hilarious after all these years.
Made even better by the set up with the frog. The frog was so funny, tiny body and small arms. And then the dinosaur, big body and still small arms. XD
I remember them using the Dino joke in all the advertisements and while it was funny, the movie just builds up to it so well.
That's easily my favorite part! I still think about that and when the she says "I'm always right, even when I'm wrong, I'm right!" very often

Goob! How many evil villains do you know go by the name of "Goob"? Blegh!
My favorite joke is Wilbur fibbing that his dad looked like Tom Selleck, only to have Selleck actually voice him.
Omg that’s hilarious
That's a joke that carries into the dubs, as well.
Apparently the joke was actually the reason Tom Selleck agreed to do the role of Cornelius

I'm so glad you popped up in my recommendations. This has been one of my favourite movies since I first saw it. What you said about adoption and how this is so relevant to you, it's super touching as well. :)
"That's not Lewis, that actually looks like you" HOW DID HE KNOWWWWWW
It was kinda obvious lol
Obvious joke is obvious, but Wilbur said Cornelius looked like Tom Selleck, and when Cornelius shows up at the end, he's actually voiced by Tom Selleck.
Man I remember watching these Disney movies when I was younger and rewatching them now that I am an adult and that I understand the message behind them just hit so much differently! This movie was amazing.
This might be favorite Disney movie as it teaches me about all we could do if we just let go of the past, Awesome reaction, dude!
P.s. this is also my mom’s favorites, she even has little wonders on her playlist.
Your mom has a good taste
the movie really teaches the lesson of letting go of the past
I love how emotional u are, watching those movies 🥺💜
Yay! I’ve been looking forward to this reaction, this is honestly one of my favourite childhood movies 😁
A Walk to Remember full movie what movie name
@@maumoviecorner7687 Mine too! This movie brings back so many memories! I got chills whenever Wilbur said,"To the Future!"🙂
I’m glad this hit u like it hit me when I was a kid now let’s keep moving forward
I think this is a really sweet movie and it is great that you want to adopt! Such a kind thought to do so.
I like how quickly you picked up on Goob
Awww this movie is an underrated treasure. I grew up watching this with my dad and we just can’t get enough of Goob, he’s just so ridiculous. XD
Not to mention the overall lesson about keep moving forward is so important, especially for those who are too hard on themselves or give up too quickly. As always, loved your reaction. Looking forward to Raya on friday, hopefully you like it! :)
Keep moving forward
Until my enemies are destroyed
I love your profile picture
@@tranquilhours Thank you 😄
The ending song by the singer of Matchbox Twenty hits me every frickin' time. Especially with that Disney quote.
Rob Thomas. Yes, it does the same for me too...love it!
I really loved this movie! 🤩🥺 and it's so underrated that hurts! 😭💞
“Keep moving forward”.
Me: that gave e AOT vibes lol
As someone who is unable to have her own kids due to some health issues, this movie hits me pretty hard.
It's has such a great message, and it makes me excited for my future.
I hope to make a difference in the lives of the kid(s) I adopt, much like the scientist lady and her husband did with Lewis when they adopted him.
Are you gonna bake cookies just like Lucille. Especially on the dance floor
@@moneylover318 I can only hope to be as cool as she is.
I've never seen anyone guess so quickly that it was goob from the future
they made it kinda obvious
@@ItsTotallyCody Eh, true.🤭
@@ItsTotallyCody
not for me they didn't lmao!! I thought it was funny that he was just talking to a random kid and telling him to be evil
4:31 you'll see on background that guy (forgot his name already) playing with his mother's frogs :)
Keep moving forward! That’s what keeps me going!
Aww, this movie has a special place in my heart
i watched this movie once or twice when i was a kid and never forgot about it even the song... still know it by heart. this movie really did something to me
I cry every single time I watch the ending. 😭❤️
No matter how old this movie gets i will always love it so much ❤❤
Wow, Nice Reaction of Meet the Robinsons, one of my third favorite Disney animated movies ever since Dinosaur 2000 and The Lion King 1994 and this still holds up and tells us very good and important message like Keep Moving Forward.
This is THE MOST UNDERRATED Disney Movie ever to me. This Movie is timeless.
This is easily one of my favorite Disney films, and one of the rare examples on that list of favorites that wasn't from my childhood. The very last segment with the Walt Disney quote is always an emotional beat for me.
I was so happy to hear that you want to adopt! The world needs more people like you!
Such a great movie! I’m so glad you watched it!
Keep moving forward!
this movie really gets you at the end with the emotion
Bravo for spotting the younger version of several characters so quickly. 👏👏👏
Yeah, this movie gets me every single time 😭
My favorite part is when, Louis had to knock on the orphanage door. Taking responsibility for himself despite his circumstances.
The comedy in this film is impeccable and iconic. It’s also so heart warming. I love it
I love the chaos of this movie haha
omg i love this movie, everytime that i watch, i cry a lot 😭😭😭 this movie, for me, is timeless and eternal!
OMG yes I'm SO excited this is one of my absolute favorite Disney movies
I'm so happy I'm not the only person who sobs at the end of this one. Honestly even hearing "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas will get me teary-eyed.
This is a movie that has always spoken to me like no other. I'm so happy that you saw it
Anyway, I can't wait for your Raya reaction. I already sort of forgot that you could see it right now because it never came to theatres
I love the song at the end.
19:05 "What're you gonna do now dude? "
Isn't it obvious? Keep moving forward.
