“My Dream of America” | Written and Read by Ruth Cohen

Ruth Cohen, a volunteer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, reads an essay she wrote about her immigration to America. It was recorded in September 2022.
The essay was written in a guided writing workshop for survivors of the Holocaust called Echoes of Memory.

After visiting the museum in DC years ago, now living in the Netherlands near the German border, we still see the Scars of the past living near Kamp Westerbork.
I searched the database for number 7684 Stam, Dutch and found a match. Thank you for all the work done.
