The beauty, the elegance, direct British lineage from the earliet jet plane (ever) ... the low speed performance for precise bombing and high-level cruise efficiency is so unlike the F-106 you just showcased .... I heard this superb tactical bomber carried out some of the most special attack-air ops during the 50s and 60s .... for both the UK and US airforces .. and what a fantastic model ! Kudos all round !
@@doce7606 Absolutely fantastic comments my friend, I'm glad you appreciate the history behind these amazing model planes! Thank you so much for checking in!!
Man sorry i missed that one. What a build. John Morgan would be proud of how this event has grown and would have loved the new guys that have joined this event. Very nice Greg.
Great project and fine piloting! I was stationed at Malmstom AFB, MT in the late 70's where they operated the B-57 beside F-106s. I knew some of the maintenance guys and got a close look at the airframes. The B-57s were very good at altitude and were used to calibrate the early warning radar systems.
the green mountain boys out of Vermont used to fly these into KI sawyer and wurtsmith AFB mi. when I was stationed there during the 70's and 80's got a lot of pretty cool pictures of them
From Australia, there is no "E" in Canberra, just Canbra. Love the plane with the only comment being the silver dulled down would be my choice, but then I am never going to build anything anywhere near that quality.
@@johnnichol9412 Thanks for the proper pronunciation mate! As a yank, I simply pronounce it as it looks. I agree a bit of weathering might look better, but like you said, since I'm not a builder who am I to judge. Cheers!

@@craigbeaven8445 I agree Craig, she's an absolute beauty for sure 👍!
With that much wing it can't help but be a floater!
Beautiful model! When I saw the thumbnail part of me hoped this was a new Freewing release. Haha.
Right?! Big, friendly wing, beautiful natural finish and markings, fairly easy to fly, a winner all over! And YES, that would make an awesome foamy!
Such a cool model!
@@hechtspeed For sure! Totally not expecting this one 😲👍😁
appreciate that from you!
Wow!! This field is like the "SCRATCH-BUILT MODELS" capital of America.
