Awesome lookin build, have the torrent on dl atm. It is all separated into seprate zip files? Is there something i will have to do to create the image once its finished?
Madlittlepixel another great video bro
Thanks so much for the amazing reviews and info. I was just curious what your fav 64GB image is to use? I am kind of picky. I really like the most recent Dragon Blaze 64 GB image from Glaestio, but nobezels or overlays. I hate seeing those black side bars, also need my 2 player beat em up roms. Anything you recommend from the vault. Checked out 2018 listings for Pi 3 images, you have a swine 64 GB image on there, does it have 2P simpsons and other beat em ups?
I sent a pm to your discord for a emulator I want you to test out before releasing, thanks and great videos.
Have you ever tried booting from an SSD instead?
Just want to say thanks to wolfanoz! Just had the image put on to an sd card and turned it on first time - so amazingly put together and no issues whatsoever so far after trying a couple dozen games across systems! Love it!!!
Please help me
Whats the link
I have it loaded but the games aren't as clear as the ones in the video. Not sure if it's me doing something wrong
You need to add billinear filtering and then save overrides
Worked the first time? Wtf
Just got a pi400 and git this working last night. It's my first pi and first image. Let's just say the bar has been set very high.
Thank you Mr 🐺.
Where did you get this image?
@@Retro_infected arcade punks
@@teamnoble9715 its not working
How did you get it running on the 400? i got it to load but the keyboard and usb plugs have zero functionality
Love Wolfanoz builds, got a great taste in music as well going off the menu BGM! The emergence of this image caused me to buy a pi4 after how reliable I found his previous images . Thanks for the review.
Where to get it?
Love that interface - helps you see if a game is worth playing!
Man - that Light Gun collection is easy worth the DL!
You got aimtrak working on pi?
Wolfanoz, sure knows how to make a build. Others do too, but wolfanoz, really does impress with there images.
I agree.
Thanks for taking the time to make this, its a shame lots of people ask questions but no one answers them, that would help a lot.
I would love to see creators like Wolfanoz do some work with Mister.
I went into the settings and applied the 2xHQ Shader for all the retroarch emulators as I did not like the default pixelated look of the games. Great job Wolfanoz. 👌
Can it be done through retropie for all emus or by running game by game and then entering the retroarch quick menu? I will like to add scan lines
How do you do that
Just ordered my Pi today and it will be here Wednesday. Can’t wait to put this image on it and have my number 1 ultimate gaming solution!
I'm going to do the same. I'm still using the 3. But the 4 is looking too good to resist. I'm going to run it in my arcade cabinet
Brother and fellow dad how do i put this image on my raspberry pi4 i want to use a 512 gb card by the way
Wow this image is great! Just got a Pi 4 and cannot wait to get into this! Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow this Image would go great in my 2 player upright cabs. what a awesome image. A+
Great video. What controller did you recomended for this system? Also have you tried any of the codecs which upscale? On my retroarch for my shield I can do 1080p upscale. But this seems better. Thanks again
Hey man. I do alot of console jailbreaking and retro gaming. This I probably wouldn't get into but I did want to say thanks for all of the tutorials and information you provide. You pointed me in the right direction to load up my retron77 and playstation classic with a ton of games.
Nice review. Wolf def put a lot of work into this
I have this setup on a bartop it's absolutely amazing. Great awesome build.
Aimtrak!? Holy cow! That alone deserves my attention!
I have a Pi 4, a 256gb sd, and a modded arcade cabinet so this might be perfect for me!
Andrew Lazin so you just have to down load the image ? Is everything included ? I’m new to the pie scene
@@THEKLEVER187 I am new to the Pi scene too! I am struggling with it the Pi 4 the Pi 3b is running fine it is a lot to learn, not difficult to do but requires a lot of work and a little luck which I do not have at all now. I cannot seem to flash any of the images successfully at all!
@@THEKLEVER187 Yes, if you download the image and a program called balenaEtcher it will copy the image over to your SD card. Then you just put the SD card into your Pi4 and turn it on. Super Easy!
@@shrek6446 thanks
This looks awesome, and a lot of content that I dont have yet. Gotta collect them all! Thanks for sharing, now to get a Pi4!
Holy crap. It will take years just to sample some of these lol.
Great review also!
Wow! That's pretty cool. Good stuff!
Getting my 256gb micro as today. Ready to write and play today ! I’m excited
You'll need a larger one
Thanks for the video! One question that maybe is stupid question...im not very talented on this things😅. If i download this image and then i want to update the retropie to 4.6 i can do directly from the retropie menu->update?
Very nice. I’m wondering though if it’s difficult to remove some of the roms if I don’t want them. I’m just getting into the raspberry pi and I’m still trying to figure things out.
I can’t wait till there are images like this for the Odroid go advance. I need this on the go!
I was holding off on a pi for a min I think it’s time this looks super nice
great video like always. How would I go updating it to the latest 4.6 beta release?
Woah! So many games! Looks dope!
I don't have usenet so i am on day 4 downloading the torrent from the arcadepunk site. Not many seeders.
that's an awesome build, btw i wanted to ask, does it matter if i have the 2GB version to play this ?
Still the best 256g image (y) Dreamcast runs great.
Did you update Retropie to newer version?
Any additional tweaks that need to be done?
@@MrRetro90 Just the tips and tweaks from ETA Primes youtube channel. I run it on a Pi 4, so no reason to update it.
@@n74productions37 Have you experienced any screen tearin/jitter on side-scrollers?
@@MrRetro90 Yes. On multible platforms. It is not a constant thing, but enough to annoy you at 2-5 second intervals. Played AVP with a friend yesterday. We were more frustrated with the repetative human levels and boss defeat slow down (typical Capcom) than the jittering. It is there though. Some games are worse than others.
Hey guys I'm just wondering how many of these games are multiplayer? I'm going to set up a Pi 4 in my van and would love to play some games with friends! Thanks Wolfanoz for this awesome image!
If I ever get an RPi 4, I might have to check this image out. I’m right now checking out vertical arcade images for my RPi 3 to mod into my Galaga Arcade1Up cabinet, though.
what the phuk, didnt you just get $1200? go out and buy a pi4, its worth it!
this is an incredible rom!! I have onlye a couple of issues:
is it possible to turn off the audio of the video when the system starts?
I got some tearing and stuttering, specially in retroarch on my arcade1up cab, how could i fix that?
This is amazing. Thanks wolfanoz!
I just have one problem. I'm getting screen tearing frequently while playing games.
Is there a way to fix it?
Same here... and FPS drops
Had same issue. For me it was a turned out that my budget storage drive was the problem . I used a better quality media and it changed for the better. I was told to try a higher quality from a post in a Reddit page
Hey man, great video! Do you mind if you tell me all the games they have for mortal Kombat and capcom? I’m about to buy a raspberry pi and a Arcade1Up mortal Kombat arcade, and I wanna make sure I get the best I can get.
Would people still say this is one of the best Pi 4 setups for emulation out there?
I have my first raspberry pi on the way but there are so many choices on what to install.
Hi all and thank you Wolfanoz so much for the great image and the unbelievable work! I saw many comments about the audio that doesn't work. I have the same problem and tried all the threads and all the fixes but i can only get the audio via HDMI during the splashscreen. Someone solved the issue? It's so irritating to play without sound!
4K TV?
So with all of your items listed in the 'items you use' you didn't add anything else to get it cooled and running like a dream? Looks incredible, might go that route but want to make sure i don't need anything else. Or do any internal settings to get it running optimally?
It's a nit pick but 64 commodore 64 games is a bit skimpy. How much room is left to add the other 3000?
Has anyone experienced really bad sound crackling with MAME/Atomiswave but no problems with any of the other emulators for this image? Everything else works and the frame rate is great, but man I'd love to try Blue Dolphin with good sound.
Tried asking in the Arcade Punks message board but it's awaiting moderation, sadly. Regardless, this mod rocks and I'm a HUGE fan. Thanks for the awesome work(if Wolfanoz is reading this.)
Also, I'm a total noob but I chose the wrong DS emulator the first game I launched and now don't know to switch to the other one, anyone know how to do that?
Will probably buy a pie 4 for this, just a question, is it better to use the image on a micro sd card or is ubs stick also proper or even better?
Wolfanoz is the best!
Anybody get terrible sound on the atomiswave games using this image?? The games run perfect but the sound is very distorted. Running pi4 over clocked with this image. (Although I think I did the update to retropie) really want to play these games as never really had a chance but it’s not the same with the sound being as it is. Any suggestions would be lovely. Many thanks and keep up the great work.
Makes me want to buy a Pi4
No love for the Magnavox Odyssey? Just kidding, this is awesome stuff!
How easy is it to upgrade to Retropie 4.6? How easy would it be to integrate Redream into the Naomi/Dreamcast playlists?
Wondering if it's better to wait until the build has been upgraded to 4.6 before I grab it.
Hi Madlittlepixel, what updates do you run every time you try a different build?
@Madlittlepixel Looking forward to the follow-up video!
The sound in this image of Retropie (not in the emulators) is so choppy and i can figure it out
Wow this is amazing, think I'll get a pi 4 and 256gb micro SD just for this, amazing
thats what I did!
@@capsortee anywhere to download quicker mines saying 3 days
How do you do the update to 4.6? Can you show a video of that?
I wonder if it is possible for the creators of these masterpieces to make ready images of stripped down ubuntu for PC emulation
Of course, it'd be possible, but would people use that? The Pi 4 costs WAY less than a PC
Dylan Taylor Rpi3/4 are low end computers, many folks have similar/better spec’d PCs just lying around no longer used, or otherwise available for free
Use Coin ops bro
@@TeamHopeLS CoinOPS is great, however it is running on Windows and is a little heavy for a potato PC that could run linux a lot better
Is this an image for a 256GB USB drive or for the main SD card? Asking because my RPi setup is a 32GB SD card and a 265GB USB thumb drive.
This build is AMAZING. Love it. I am having one issue. I'm not sure what I need to do to get controllers working for Dreamcast.
Can you please help me
scott hill load up a Dreamcast game and press ESC on your keyboard. This will bring up the Redream menu. Use W,A,S,D keys as your directional arrows and L for select. Scroll over to Input and you can configure your controller within that section and save changes.
Hey thanks for the vid👍. Can you recommend wireless controllers to use with this build. Thanks 🙏
I'm using the SN30 and SF30 Pro's. For me it was a paiiin to get them both paired through Bluetooth. Once that's figured out, or you just use a Bluetooth adapter, they do nice on the image, especially with N64.
Some emulators like PSP and Dreamcast you will need to initially use a keyboard by hitting esc and configuring the controller.
Great Video, thank you! This looks great, but is the download still available? I am just on a mobile so maybe i missed the link over there at Arcade Punks?
It is, I'm downloading it now. You'll have to find the link at arcadepunks and download the torrent.
Sorry but my tech mind only goes so far and my spare time is even less. Is there any way I can just buy this entire package in a digital download on a micro sd card ASAP?
Does this image use the new retropie and pi4 update/fix? Or the previous version?
So want to get this image but cant find it anywhere.
Damn that looks good
I just installed this amazing image, its my first foray into Retropie builds. I'm in awe of the whole thing. And as a complete noob the thing that is eluding me is how to exit out of a game back to the menu! I am so lost! Anyone able to tell me the easy thing im missing? Thanks!
Press Start and Selct buttons simultaneously.
@@michaelisrael8450 will give it a try again, so far my only success has been depressing both joysticks at same time, which takes me to a menu, i havd to close game, then close out of that menu. Works but not ideal!
Hi, DO you have a link to the download. One one from arcade punks is just so slow to download . Thank you
What 128gb image would you recommend for pi4? :)
for 128gb get damaso image
Anyone else having issues with setting up controls for N64? Is everyone also having sound glitches (a bit scratchy) in Naomi games? Aside from these problems I am trying to work out, this image is awesome.
I don't manage to make any n64 game run ... That's the only category that doesn't work at all, is there something special to do please?
@@benjamind.8448 Too be honest, I ended up not liking the image as much as Vmans arcade image. I just took all the games that I wanted from this image and added it to the arcade bliss.
I am praying one day that the raspberry pi will play the Gamecube stuff properly!
are they complete games? start to finish? or samples of just part of each game?
Amazing work! thanks a lot for your effort.
Is there an easy way to remover the bezels in all the games, or does it have to be one by one?
tks again!
Yes you can switch them off using the bezels project, look that up on google and UA-cam
How do you get rid of those annoying side borders?
Downloaded it. Put it to a 256GB sdxc. But it just has a black screen after the Pi 4 shows the rainbow screen. Imaged twice. From a Win10 system and from a MacBook. So anyone have this happen?
I can't get most games to have good quality not sure why. The play very smoothly but I can see where image can be better. I've tried on my Samsung smart TV, Sanyo HD TV and also a regular 1080p pc monitor.
Sick 👍🏽👍🏽
@Madlittlepixel Has anyone tried getting this image recently? I just tried this a week ago and seems there’s several console collections missing from it when I fired it up in a Raspberry Pi 4b 4GB. No 3DO, N64, Amiga, Ti99-4/a, ColecoVision, Vectrex, and many others missing, although the image is still 256GB. Seems like they need to be enabled or something, maybe?
I can’t find any documentation updates that indicate any major changes. I’ll look into it more but figured I should say something here in case others have seen this.
I can't even get this thing to seed, if gives me the Infiniti logo for the time
So I am all new to this and want to play all these old games on a raspberry pi. What raspberry pi do I get and what other things will I need to do this?
2:04 the moment he realises he could be colour blind 😀
How would you rate this compared to his recent 512gb image
I have a stock Pi4 4gb. I'm getting some stuttering on this image for CS2 and 3 and Sega CD. Do I need to OC?
Just one question: this amazing image contain Scanlines ? how can i desactive this? its simple? thanks for share!
What did you overclock the Pi 4 to, to get Nintendo 64 running smoothly?
Hi will the build work on a pi 3b+?? Cheers
How's the 3DO emulation on the pi 4 ? What emulator is being used? Is it full screen?
Is it possible to get 4k resolution support? I have just installed this and it seams that it cut the image, It won't show the whole picture.
Looks absolutely superb but sadly after hours of messing about, different Pi 4s, different SD cards, different software, different controllers etc to try figure out what's at fault it seems I have a bad image if that's even possible? Everything at startup loads up great, music etc, set up my controller but then as soon as I press up or down to scroll it crashes and my green light is solid? Can't think of anything else I can do to fix really. Any ideas would be much appreciated?
I wonder if the Pi 4 has any heat issues when playing this image for extended periods? I want to do one of these builds but I'm not sure what kind of cooling setup I should go with to insure stability. Is the new Flirc case considered the best case for this considering looks and performance?
Get yourself an ice tower. It will run this like your playing in a freezer!
Like Chris said before a Ice Tower or I recommend a flirc case. Ice Tower will give you more room to overclock.
Is this as easy to burn onto an SD card and plop into my modded arcade 1up? Or do I need to do anything beforehand?
Is there a way to buy this plug and play? Looks like a great list
Where do we go to actually get this image?
Is MVC2 on here in Dreamcast redream? And does it work good? Also do you need a pi 4 b?
Works fine for me
Hmmm this is tough. This looks great but I know as soon as I hook this up Dasamo is going to drop something I want.
Mulled it over. This one wins!
Hi All, Can you still add more games to this and use like regular Retro-pi?
I like the build but no games working. Black scren on everything. But the 200GB working verywell
Do the high scores save in MAME ? And if not can I get them to save ? I love leaderboards for arcade type games
Thanks
If you have an odroid n2 I wouldn’t mind seeing how emulation is doing on it.
Wolfanoz cool you making a video?
I tested N64 Goldeneye which is why I upgraded to PI 4. The resolution by default is not very good. Looks very grainy and pixelated. I know N64 is over 20 years olf but it looked better than this. Is there a way to improve resolution?
Still the best?
How does GoldenEye 007 run for N64? That seems to be the make-or-break game for these builds.
This might be a dumb question for which I apologizw. Attempted to google this but came up empty. Can you use an xarcade stick with this image? If so I cant find where to set it up.
why do they never put tee off golf on the dreamcast emulator? That was one of my favorite golf games ever and I wonder if it plays better on the pi4 than it did on the pi3.
So how does it compare to the 512gb "Retro-Bliss-Revolution.Pi.4.RE-LOADED.Playbox.v1.5-4.5.18" image? Is that one worth double the disk space?
