I'm a lucky person that's never dropped my phone and had the screen crack, so I quite like the curve, but I appreciate a lot of people would prefer it flat!
Chris Spice Yeah I’m extremely careful with all my devices too. I don’t ever drop them lol but I like tempered glass protectors just in case haha and the only reason I don’t like the protectors that the Galaxies come with is because they aren’t very clear.
I own S20 and for now I hate that QHD don't have 120 Hz. Not because of the quality... but using lower resolution even if phone support higher is weird ☺ For me is 120 Hz a lot better than 60 Hz and I set black mode + 120 Hz immediately ☺
I currently have Huawei P30 Pro which i love but want Samsung S20or Iphone 11pro. I think im going to go for the S20plus after watching this. Was initially looking at the S20 Ultra but heeard the auto focus is horrible. Dont get me wrong, there is not a lot wrong with the P30 Pro its just with all these issues with google apps as put me off Huawei. Shame as its a good all round phone
I got an s20 plus because the OnePlus 8 pro was sold out and restocking it was terribly mismanaged. I gotta say, I'm not impressed. Sure, it looks good on paper, but they're sloppy with the UI. Premium features don't work how you expect them to (ie. Your video stutter, camera focus, edge lighting not working as promised). I'm not terribly disappointed because number one, the phone does have a beautiful screen. Number two, it had an ad card slot. Number three, I'm only keeping it for a year and trading it for a OP flagship next year. Overall, this being my first flagship phone, I'm not impressed. Also, dude, the battery sucks! And on that note, so does the fingerprint reader.
The 64 mp sensor is not a true 3x optical lens its just a standard wide hi res sensor. U can see this by switching to 64mp mode the field of view does not change compared the the standard wide main shooter. There are no moving optics in this phone. If it was a true 3x optical the field of view would change when switching to the 64mp sensor. Its all digital zoom and AI.

Upgraded to the s20 plus also from a mate 20 Pro 4 days ago, and have to admit I'm absolutely hating it, its a downgrade on pretty much everything from a phone which is nearly 2 years old.battery life is just shockingly bad. Fast charging isn't fast at all, the whole interface is poor, 120 hertz seems a tiny bit smoother but nothing to good, the whole layout on the huawei was so much easier too. Think I'll probably return it.
Fun fact - I also tried to return mine initially. I can fully agree with you about battery life, but my main problem was the size, which is personal preference. So it's the UI you don't like? I prefer most things about Samsung's UI but the Huawei cameras were amazing. If Huawei had Google Services I probably would have waited for the p40/mate 40 though.
@@ChrisSpice see i actually like the size, i think its at the perfect sweet spot. yeah completely agree there if the p40 had Google services I'd 100 percent get that. congratulations mlm. i have a samsung s20plus button on off. I give you hold two fingers then I give it shake it s20plus. There is a sound ringing in the area behind it ... I want to ask for his help. Thank you.
Do you have a 3rd party screen protector or the original one that comes with the phone?
I have the original one that comes with the phone - it's a bit scratched up already but at least it's protecting the screen.. I hope.
Chris Spice Yeah that’s true. I really wish Samsung would have just finally made the screen completely flat so we can finally use tempered glass protectors properly.
The screen protector that came with my s20+ cracked about 4 days after I got the phone and I went into panic mode because I thought I broke my screen
I own S20 and for now I hate that QHD don't have 120 Hz. Not because of the quality... but using lower resolution even if phone support higher is weird ☺ For me is 120 Hz a lot better than 60 Hz and I set black mode + 120 Hz immediately ☺
Nice video bro keep going
Great Review dude.
Is the Korean version good?
S20+ or 8 pro plus?, with in mind that the samsung has a exynos chip?
Definitely 8 pro. The screen is the best you can get out there!
Plus 8 pro is super fast!
The 8 pro plus and several other phone makers using chips that cheats on the benchmark tests that makes the phone seem better than they actually are
I got an s20 plus because at the time, 8 pro was sold out and I gotta say, I'm looking forward to switching to a op 9 pro next year.
man that difference in quallity is huge compared to 4k!
Definitely, I have a full video coming tomorrow about it too
I currently have Huawei P30 Pro which i love but want Samsung S20or Iphone 11pro.
I have the S20 Plus Exynos and love it, only thing is in the last update instead of improving my camera on the auto focus side of things its now worse 😔 it was much better in auto focus before so a bit annoyed I upgraded. I'm hoping Samsung fix this asap as its made me now hate taking photos especially at close range that is where its at its worst. Great video and a re freshing perspective Cheers from Down Under 😉👌✅💯🇦🇺
That's interesting, when was this update? I have one ready to install on my S20+ so I'm wondering if it's that!
Thanks for the support dude!
@@ChrisSpice 12th April, my suggestion is DO NOT DO IT lol for me it made things worse and i regret doing it , my Auto Focus was really great before this update ;-)
@@camdee2449 how is The battery?
@@gixi430 Battery is fine i have seen no difference in that ;-)
@@camdee2449 how many hours can Last your battery?
how was your battery life, my exynos s20 plus battery life has been terrible, 5 hrs sot smh
Same here on high performance mode
@@kakarott545 i get at least 6 hours sot in 42 hours with my exynos s20 plus (120hrtz, dark mode) i feel like battery life has improved since last update! I'm happy!
With the Snapdragon I get about 8.5 hrs with heavy use with dark mode and 120 hz
My s20 plus on optimization mode is pretty terrible. Can't wait to switch to op 9 pro next year.
If I'm not mistaken most Samsung phones here in the USA, and in this case, Samsung Galaxy flagship phones sold by T-mobile are all 5g.
The consumer has no choice.
So, if that is the case, why bother shopping around for generational technology that doesn't exist in hopes of saving perhaps $50?
is a 5G capable phone safe to use in terms of radiation
Legally Speaking yes.
For example you cannot sue the phone maker or government *IF* you get sick or radiation as it's not proven to physically or mentally affect you.
Yes it's safe don't believe all the idiots and you got a better chance to get cancer from a microwave than a 5g phone
As for me S20+ is the best phone in price 1000$
I have and enjoy it.
Is s20+ worth it or should I go to iPhone 11 pro
This fully depends on whether you like iOS or Android. Choose between those and you have your answer!
@@ChrisSpice Haha, what a response, and it's a good response as well!
Great video
wheres the call quality review
I know right . People forget that this is a phone in the first place. But instead they talk about cameras gaming etc etc
Thank you 😊
There's an issue on screen., small line shows up for 1 or 2 Seconds. NOT RECOMMEND IT
Not on my s20+ and I been using it since it came out
Once I didn't face recognition I never went back to finger print
Hi
What camera do you use to record?
I use Sony a7iii to record my videos

well as a gamer i always like refresh rate in my desktop so im happy that phone these days has that.and im eyeing to buy one plus 8pro..samsung so lame that they only have 120hz in fhd+.. 90hz qhd would have been great instead o that inferior screen refresh rate

Well its just little things on the huawei which make me miss it. Like how you can just double tap with your knuckle to take a screenshot etc. But tbf its probably mainly because I'm just so used to the huawei interface why I'm finding the Samsung one not as good. Its made me realise just how far ahead of the game huawei were one and half years ago haha.
Dont agree, i have s20+ and i like everyrhing more than huawei. Battery life i agree with you. Not great with my exynos, but 6:30 average with medium to heavy use. Also charging goes really quick. 3% to 93% in less than an hour.
@@kv3513 honestly I'm starting to think its a fault on my phone tbf, I was facetiming last night and it went from 100 percent to 10 in 1 hour and 14 mins, I mean surely that shouldn't drain the battery that fast? I was keep staring at the charge timing it haha
@@ajjames2717 yes, i think it is deffinetly broken, that is normally not plausibel. That is the worst battery time i have ever heard otherwise haha.
New sub here 🤩
Thanks for the sub dude
I wish we'd get the snap dragon version on the UK.
Yeah it sucks that we get the slower and less efficient chip. Hopefully in future phones they make the Exynos chips better for us guys

S20 or iphone 11 pro..,? Decisions, decisions...
S20
I bought an iphone 11 pro mx before and returned it for the Galaxy s20 ultra. No regrets. But to be honest, I like them both. The iphone has the best battery life on a smartphone but I did not like the image quality.
Seeing as we're only 5 months until the launch of the iPhone 12, I think I'm going to wait for that. I've always had android but after spending some time with the iPhone 11 pro I'm def going with apple in future. Bottom line was I didn't feel the iPhone 11 pro was a substantial upgrade from my p30 Pro, apart from video.
I’m using Exynos S20 Ultra, 60Hz, dark mode on, no always on display, 20% brightness, 60% on Wifi around 6hrs 30min SOT soo bad 😂😂
That is not much better than my S7 Edge despite 5000mAH!
But I got it for $910 USD sooo... nah, its a good phone
My thoughts exactly - it doesn't exactly improve on previous generations battery life wise, but sounds like you got it for a bargain!
@@ChrisSpice Yeah haha $910 brand new, I can't complain 😂
Update, after 2 days using, I'm getting around 7,5 hrs SOT now, still the same usage..
@Adhi Suryana where did you bought it for 910 USD!!! ???
@@MrAdhiSuryana you did something to have more battery?
You paid all that money for a phone with features that you have to disable to get even moderate battery life on and you're happy with it? Oooookaaaaayyy
120Hz is everything what are you talking about my Brotha
Including gaming W/ 120Hz it's mind blowing
Not a bad phone but hugely overpriced, Camera issues with only only two Android version updates in 2020?... No thanks Samsung. If you want a Samsung get a Note 10.
What???? All Samsung phones get 2 android updates
@@bulletproof4716 I know that but other phone makers are giving 3 years of Android updates while Samsung in 2020 are still giving just two? They need to change that policy for they insane prices they have them at now.

His wife needs to use the phone at 120hz for an hour then go back to a 60hz phone and then she will realize the jump it is. Its a massive change in how the phone feels. Once you go 120 you cant go back to 60.
