This was very informative and helpful. I've had an EEW 6 for 1 1/2 years and I wish there had been a video like this then. Despite there being a number of how to put together and use these little espinners, I've never seen one that focused on the tension and clearly showed what is needed. I too, have put a line on my tension knob so I can see where I started and be able to adjust it those tiny increments. It seems like what is needed is to tighten the tension a bit as the bobbin fills and intake yarn is becoming over twisted. I also find that the speed of my machine will influence yarn twist and how much tension is needed. I haven't quite figured that one out yet for my machine. Thanks so much for your patient explanations!
I am so glad you found this video. The mechanical engineering design is an overall basic design. Just minor adjustments and practice and practice and practice and more practice. Most all cases are just simple understanding the basics of using an eel and moving parts. Time and patience! Thank you for such a nice comment and I appreciate you!

Thanks for your very informative video. I am a new spinner and just got the Nano 2. It was easy to put together; no problem there. My problem is definitely with tension. As I tighten the knob, it often will slip back; not catch. Any other thoughts beside cutting the tension cord and putting beads on? Has dreaming robots come up with any fixes? Thanks
Hi Rose, I am glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. The knob was the improvement . I personally don’t like it and that’s why I change it back to the old way. Unfortunately the knob as a break band tensioner just wasn’t for me.

Thank you for this! So my orafice reducer is not smooth (I just got my Nano 2 a few days ago, it came like this). How do I smooth it, a file?
You are welcome and thank you for watching and for your question!! Sometimes 3d printers can leave little burs and they get missed in the clean up phase . So yes a small file with a very fine grit like the less aggressive side of the nail file. Just work a little bit at a time .
