Facts
I agree too. People prefer a wedding over a marriage. These are the same people who will quickly say “divorce his a**” if he messes up. Give the man the opportunity to receive the therapy and healing he needs. If not her, this should place him in a better position to have a good marriage. I pray the best for both of them.

I seen nothing but support for Clay when he expressed his concerns, he needs to (he did) take accountability for prolonging the relationship, they could've been the other contestants in the pods who stayed till the end and when it was time to go home then try to start a relationship, but he signed up for an experience that involves a big commitment that he know he didn't want, so that's why there are people that are conflicted by it, AD is 100% all in, in the pods he could've tried and let her go, but he asked the big question, but he did take accountability and it also seems like they are still in some type of involvement, but idk.

@@t4325 -I totally agree with your analysis. He just was not into her. He should not have come on the show because physical appearance is very important to him. He already told AD what body type he likes but she was mad as hell when he described the body type he liked ( slim). I think the mom also knew that he was not into her. Also, she started to become is mentor rather than fiance. I also thought that her wedding dress was over-sexy (nothing was left to the imagination). I think that also turned him off - the dress was not elegant, it looked like a party / vegas type wedding dress. Clay went for the oldest trick in the book - blamed his behavior on his dad's cheating. And Clay's mom just using the situation to shame the dad on national TV. The show was not about the mom and dad so why did the Producers allow them so much air time.

He did right. He had issues with his dad and family trauma thinking he would not be faithful or give his best version of himself for her. Amen. I made the same mistake as Sherri and sooo many women. I wanted to be married so badly that I couldn't see straight. Like AD, I ignored red flags, ignored that although he kept saying he loved me, he wasn't showing it nor could he even define what love was or meant to him. And like Sherri I had doubts but felt like I had to go through with it.

You are from the "Shepherd 's of Chicago & fighting your family ❤ language" had me 😂😂😂. Uncle would've of been somebody getting married with the hand language 😂😂😂. I knew a family like that growing up & I had one aunt in Law that was the Madea aunt & her children were my cousins I knew I could depend on growing up if someone was bullying me in school. Of course they grew out of that but in the 80' s when we were teens & in their 20' s my 1 Madea aunt & cousins would fight & bust the windows out of your car if you did someone in the family wrong 😳We need a family reunion Sheri 😅

AD is not a victim, she wants what she wants but what she wants does not want her. Women struggle with courage to live apart from romance even if it is toxic and not serving them. Their is a difference between being alone and be lonely, women tend to struggle with the latter.
She was being desperate and another reesa reesa Tessa and like every other girl and woman wanting it to be her turn to be love and received love unconditionally.
The whole premise of the show was to go thru the experiment and make the decision at the alter...these last couple seasons switched up

It’s interesting as a woman how many women only sided with AD but don’t realize YES he was saving her; however at the same time if the man wasn’t emotionally ready, he also did himself a favor by pausing in order to get the help he needed which unfortunately MANY don’t do. The sad part is many today are led by their emotions and sexual intimacy and not by wisdom.
But he did tell her! He told her every chance he got. He told her he’s going to cheat on her and that he’s not really for marriage. Why is she surprised? This was the biggest DUH moment for me.
Umm her wedding story was the exact reason why she shouldn't be mad at Clay for saying no last minute, because Sherri said yes when she knew it wouldn't work! I respect Clay for at least saying no; he said that he didn't plan to say no the whole time, it was last min change of mind.

Am I the only one who understands Clay’s POV? 2 weeks is a little too short to make that decision. And besides he said he also wasn’t sure about her finances. Imagine if she had debts, which would also fall onto him. And AD was in love with Matthew just a few days ago, and she would have said yes to him if he didn’t bounce. How do you go from that to being ready to marry someone else. That’s hella shady😊
Idk I understand what he saying.
