Good one Gary! This is exactly why the foundation of apparel branding is labeling. The label (woven, printed neck, etc) carries the brand logo, the print carries the artwork and symbolism. It's the entire basis for Apliiq's print on demand platform. 🤯
I have a lot of people around me that want to be rich from making they own clothing line … the thing is that if nobody knows you nobody going to buy your product … I think it’s easier to make money if you just use pictures / images that already exist . Like Michael Jordan , Lebron or even car pictures !
Heres a little tip ..when I did graffiti for the nightclubs and sound systems the most sort after tops I sold were infact the tops with staff on the back ..so I did a load with that on the back so soundsystem on the front staff on the back and i sold em under the counter it was a great way to boost my sale and then they bought my other shirts and sell in the club at the party i got known in a couple of weeks
ALL THE COMPANIES ...ESPECIALLY POLO STARTED WITH THEIR NAME ON THEIR BLANKS! IT DEPENDS YOUR NICHE...BUT YOU SHOULD MIX IT UP AND DEFINITELY HAVE YOUR LOGO ON IT AS WELL TO GET PEOPLE USED TO THE NAME! GREAT VIDEO THO
This was great info. How do you feel about supreme. They never change there logo or never had designs or images on there clothing. It was just one word supreme. That was it and they went off to become a billion dollar empire
i've been selling graffiti videos since 1989. I've built up a large following my company logos sell well on tee shirts... so naturally my primary target is graffiti writers...
Thank you for this video . Very informative. 😊 "Things are not what they cost but what they're worth" Powerful!!!! Might make a personal tshirt saying that. Lol Thanks again for the info. God bless!!!
Yea but what about just getting the name out there..like ts with just the name of the brand but no logo on it... wouldn't you think more people would be interested just based on the name of the brand not ever hearing of it before...what about stickers? Posting up everywhere so the name starts getting out there?
Sullen is exactly the blueprint to how I'm doing my t shirts. I haven't came up with a logo yet and I plan on letting the sells pay for my logo trademark when I finally come up with one lol
Hi Gary I am really enjoying the info you give in your videos. One thing I have not seen you mention is airbrush painting t shirts. I was thinking of doing some t shirts using some airbrush designs of my own. Not the sort of thing you see in California for the tourists and colleges. Would this be something you could do a video on. Thanks Cliff from UK
I manufacture Tshirts for affordable price with printing / embroidery , like genuine business with a factory in my locale with over 50 machines . times haves been hard maintaining this business and i am currently trying to take small orders from small creators too . why not give them a boost start and it fills up my factory for a day or two , with other orders slowing down im currently thinking of just moving high scale for content creators.
What a great video on the reality of "Who the F are you?" I see so many people who think they are so unique and some even use it as their brands name, Unique Hat's...lol. Starting a business or a brand is a lot of hard work and research. And if you're not an artist, it is very expensive. And when I say artist, I mean someone who can draw or design. And most don't understand the grind of starting from scratch. They just think they are unique and will make millions. If you think you have a really good idea, write up a business plan, do some samples and contact a well known brand to see if they are interested in your concept. If established brands aren't interested, then your chances for success are slim to none. If they aren't interested it's up to you to grind it out on Etsy, Facebook and events.
DTF. You can get companies to make the film for you then all you do is pay for that film. Buy a heat press , those special covers and special dtf powder then make your shirts. Basically outsource the film. All you do is press at home.
Then you use it. It all depends on the crowd your after. And location, And also look at clothes like this. Either they will buy it or they won't. Since clothes are a visual product. It isn't a way to say yes Your logo will either work or not on first launch. Example I may not want a shirt that say Polo on it. Then one day I may get these jeans and shoes and I remember that shirt and like damn that matches. And when put together its simple but still effective. And I'm feeling it NOW. People buy clothes on how they feel , how they want to match, what it says, or looks like. They don't care about you per say. They care about does this match or make them feel a certain way when they buy it, or buying it for someone else in mind. If its catchy, go with your gut and print a few, walk around with it. See what type of reaction you get and if its positive print on demand or make a limited edition set of a certain number When you get bigger, bring it out as "retro"
Brand Crowd doesn't make you a logo; they sell you an illustration that has already been sold 1000 times to other people. It's cheap, but you don't have a logo just for you, you are sharing it. and that is really the last thing you want to do to your brand. But yeah, sponsors!
I'm wondering is anyone can help me out with this. I decided to move my store out of shopify and have been looking into Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, Woo Commerce and possibly Go Daddy. Does anyone have any experience with any of these platforms? Any that I should stay away from?

that's exactly my response when I see all these ads for t-shirt brands on IG

😂 nobody knows me!!!! I am choosing to do small logo “tags” somewhere on my items. Not the front and definitely not on a pocket.

This is a great example about branding work!!

The content is good, but I knew it already...I stayed for your voice :D.
HOW DO I PUT THE LOGO OR NAME ON BACK OF NEXT OF SHIRT?
Thank you🙏🏾
I need t shirt help desk to answer my question
That’s right
Thank you...I know how to 👂
You have to have a great logo to make it work. Blvck Paris is a good example.

What if you have a great logo that’s catchy an unique to the eyes ?

Symbolism attracts the unknown more
Can't they get sued for using Marilyn's image?
