One thing about honey you may not know is this: bee keepers take the honey from the bees. They replace it with sugar water. The sugar water does not nourish the bees and they die off. That is why there is a shortage of bees now, to pollinate out plants. I try to use pure maple syrup or brown rice syrup, or agave, to sweeten, and use less honey because of this problem with bees.
petmom ful Sorry but that's just not true. It's mostly pesticides that are killing the bees. Pesticides and diseases. Beekeepers have been doing their job for hundreds of years, so following your logic there should be no bees left. Smh
Perhaps it is a combination of both, and bee keepers are not helping the situation with this practice. If we want the bees to make a strong comeback, maybe we should do all we can to help.
Beekeepers ( like I used to be in Colorado ) in drought times, when water and nectar are low, make cane sugar water available to their bees so they do not die. Cane sugar is non-GMO. Responsible beekeepers avoid chemicals at all costs. Roundup pesticide and pollinating GMOs kill bees. Local honey is very good for your immune system and allergies. Imported honey many times contains corn syrup according to studies. Love your videos!
@MoreMelody cereal ans crackers keep fine in Oxo Pop. They have oxo pop cereal containers in their line. They work great. I don't know what kind of cereal you have but i have organic granola and it keeps just fine.
I was disappointed with the OXO Popup canister. I found it was very difficult to dry the top. Water seems to stay in the top and takes quite a while to dry before i feel safe using them.
I need a better way to organize my spices..right now they're all crammed into this small cupboard next to my fridge. Always have to pull half of them out to find the specific spice I am looking for.

+petmom ful I didn't know that! Thanks for the heads-up. I like maple and honey equally, so it will be an easy switch :)

The Oxo Pops look like such great storage containers! Just curious, are they made of glass or plastic?
linbugg plastic
Are you confirming that the OXO Pop containers are not airtight? Why do those items not keep fresh in them?
Do you eat potatoes or onions? Where/How do you store those? Thanks!
Maple syrup has many health benefits and won't spike your blood sugar 😉. Thanks for your tips and inspiration! 💚

Use a tiered spice rack thats a lazy susan. Oxo has them!
It will be better if you look into the camera lens because you have such beautiful eyes!
