@@dakotamanns4682 Idk I love Laurie but look how she ended up. If you go based on the original, and compare what she’s been through, she didn’t really win. She lost her daughter and became isolated. Whereas Sidney has been through it 4 times and still managed to keep her life together and if rumors are true have a marriage and have two children. In my opinion Sidney is a stronger/better final girl.
Erin in You’re Next was awesome! She had me rooting for her so hard I was cheering in my living room every time she killed someone lol.

I love how at least one list it was pointed out that she’s one of the few final girls/heroes with a higher body count than the villains.
15:14 I feel like Nancy should have gotten the Dream Master powers Alice had in 4 and 5. She fits better as Freddy's good counterpart and arch enemy.

My favorite: Ginny from Friday the 13th Part 2, because she used her psychology background to tap into Jason's mind and outsmart him. I love that she was able to defeat him with intelligence rather than physical strength which comes out of nowhere for most final girls, where they're weak and scared throughout the film and then randomly become Rambo at the end
Nancy Thompson is my Favorite final girl. But I'm really biased.

These lists are always fun to watch, and I really liked your choices! Laurie Strode will always and forever be my #1 final girl. You asked us to say why, so here goes: Laurie is always the caretaker, and is therefore the perfect foil for a psycho killer. First, she's the babysitter, and later, she is the mother (and mother/grandmother again). Laurie scrambles to save herself, but she is also fighting for others' safety. Some of the other girls are concerned about others, but Laurie is a true mother figure: she preserves life, while Michael steals it away. Cool list! :)

I love samara weaving she’s an amazing actress I like her in both babysitter movies on Netflix even though the first is way better then the second one

Yes I know she was the reason her friends in that film all got killed, but when it was time to be brave, she was badass. To me shes a way better final girl than Laurie Strode. The way I think about you’re opinions, ‘I’m a man of controversy’.... and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s what makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd.
For me Erin Will always be best final girl she's literally everything you could ever want in a final girl She is the perfect evolution of final girls every final girl that came before her was a build-up to what would eventually become erin I'm sorry but none of the other final girls can hold a candle to her put any other of these final girls against Erin she would kill every single one of them.
Erin was such a great character I took a lot of inspiration from her while writing a character for this script to a horror anime that I've been working on for years.

So happy to see You’re Next get some love. I often feel that this movie doesn’t get nearly enough respect. Erin was a legit badass!

Mt favorite final girl is Sally Hardesty from 1974s Texas Chainsaw Massacre. She is so iconic, and she endured days of suffering.

And I don’t really know what a short, petit teenage girl suffering from severe mental trauma is supposed to do against a huge giant of a man swinging around a chainsaw. I’d probably just run too.

I absolutely LOVE this list. I ADORE it. This is the best thing ever. You have all the iconic final girls on this list and you have some that are very underrated and aswell I didn't see Sarah being the number 1 but I am definetly amazed by her and Iove that you have your own unique taste and list yet still putting the original icons on it. Erin from You're Next is freaking awesome. I wish they had made a sequel, because she could easily carry a subsequent chapter. I don't know where they'd go with the story, but I want to find out.

1 Neve Campbell
My biggest crush growing up, ever since watching the Craft she's been my favorite final girl. Then the movie's screams came out and I was in love with her.
2. Eliza Dushku
A close second, another crush I had as well. Watching the movie wrong turn did it for me loved her acting love her toughness and also her beautiful face. A underated actress. Need to make more movies like this. It would of been better if she continued in all the franchise's that's why the first wrong turn is my favorite.she could of saved the franchise.
3. Heather Langenkamp
A Nightmare on elm street loved her in the Nightmare on elm street's she made the movie's. Ever since she she died so did the franchise.
4. Ashley Laurence
Hellraiser Franchise another beautiful actress in a good franchise except the one's that she's not in again like the Nightmare on elm street with Langenkamp
The franchise went down hill after she left.
5. Jennifer Love Hewitt
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Beautiful actress good movie a strong and tough woman in this movie. Was a very entertaining movie enjoy watching her in this one.
6. Jamie Lee Curtis
Halloween Franchise
Great final girl in one of the best movies ever in my opinion Halloween a franchise like no other. A strong and a protector especially the one's she loves.

As much as I like Laurie Strode, I see how much her character is constantly changed in the Halloween franchise. Sidney has gotta be my favorite final girl because she doesn't take any shit from Ghostface throughout the Scream films. I live how her character develops throughout the movies. Wonder how she's gonna be in the fifth one.

Great content, style and humour - plus your accent is awesome. Have you ever looked into the theory from The Descent that explains how Sarah is actually the killer, and the crawlers a figment of her imagination? It's an interesting perspective. The US and UK versions have slightly different endings also - great film and final girl either way......

I know these are pretty unknown movies, but I think Justine from Kristy, and Amber from Green Room (my two favorite movies) are amazing final girls, that deserve recognition.
Justine is an incredibly clever college chick, and the way that she takes action, after being the victim for so long, it's just so satisfying.
Although Amber has an attitude throughout the entire movie (which I adore), I loved how she (and Pat) develop and eventually learn take advantage.
23:00 My favourite Sarah scene in T2 is when she's shooting the shit out of the T-1000 with a shotgun and then it does the creepy "uh uh uh" finger wag.

Random fun fact about me: since being about 13 years old, whenever I am having a nightmare where I’m being attacked, no matter the capabilities of my attacker in my dream, I have always been able to lucid dream my way out of it. Usually by super jumping/flying.
Last night I had a nightmare where I was being attacked and no matter what I did I couldn’t escape my attacker.
My attacker was Jennifer Coolidge.

Nancy from nightmare on elm street is definitely my favorite final girl. In the beginning, she was terrified and vulnerable but i love how she rises up and becomes a tough survivor. A pure heroine
