- This is my easy and very delicious version of pork adobo na tuyo
INGREDIENTS
-1Kilo sliced pork liempo
-1/2Kilo sliced pork kasim (pork shoulder)
-3pcs chopped onions
-1head chopped garlic
-1/2tsp salt
-ground black pepper
-4Tbsp soy sauce
-3Tbsp vinegar
-1pc dried laurel
-oil for pan frying.

@@bettinaprice6814 Most filipinos are not fond of side dishes we usually pair adobo with just plain white rice because its already a hefty meal as it is. Since adobo is very fatty try pairing it with saurkraut or the filipino version atchara its pickled green papaya.
This is the method my late Mom taught me how to cook adobo. What makes my Mom's and this method different from many is that after the meat is cooked tender, it is separated from the broth, then fried again, then on high heat, the broth is added again making everything go "whoosh" as it's added, giving the whole dish another dimension of flavor and further tenderizing the meat. That's what makes this method different than most. I apply this method and steps to both pork and chicken adobo. I'm sure there are those who say it's not the "right" way to cook adobo but there is no right or wrong. Every cook has their version and this one is just like my Mom's.. great vid and demo!!!

Kuya Fern, sinubukan ko yung recipe mo for the first time today. Iinglisin ko para dun sa mga viewers mo na di nagtatagalog. The steps I did differently was to marinate the pork in 100ml of soy sauce and 8 large cloves of crushed garlic overnight and I didn’t add any salt. Then added ~8 more cloves plus the ones in the marinade with the onions. Never too much garlic. Also, I found that using Philippine cane vinegar (~4.5% acidity) had a milder flavor than white distilled vinegar (5%), which I preferred. I also added 1 tbsp of brown sugar, which is just my preference. The rest was following your recipe and slow cooking for gelatinously yummy pork. It came out great!

I cooked this tonight. Followed everything to the T and I'm telling you it is what the title says. Nakakapatay at nakakapawis sa sarap. Added oyster sauce and it's the bomb. My kitchen king Papa has never been this quiet. He just kept eating with "Mm." Yyes! 💪😁 Killer talaga tong adobo na to. Maraming salamat sa pagturo mo, Kuya. Nakulangan talaga kami ng kanin. Was taught how to cook Adobo by GF. I like the way you refry the meat to sear the flavors in. I will try that next time. 😊

Sarap!! Ganyan gusto ko sa adobo kasi malasa na talaga yung karne at malambot na parang melts in your mouth na yung taba. Tapos pag may leftover kinabukasan hinihimay ko at hinahaluan ng mayonnaise tapos ginagawa kong palaman sa pandesal. Grabe sira ang diet hahaha
teka.. nagawa ku na ung hanggang dun sa parteng "melts in your mouth na ung taba" pero dun sa parteng.. Thank God I found your vlog sir! Very simple and easy to follow ang mga steps for every recipes. Nakakagutom habang nanonood ako and at the same time I hope matuto akong magluto just like you since I’ve been trying to cook Adobo for 5 times in a row na and laging maalat or di kaya naman lasang sunog yung luto ko. Ask ko lang din ung bawang kase marami ako nilalagay, hindi ba dapat ganun? Dapat ba mas maraming oniones kesa sa garlic cloves? Salamat!
wala po problema s dami ng bawang at sibuyas.. I use 3-4pcs chopped onions and 1head garlic for 1kilo meat.. nagkakaproblema po kpag nssunog ang bawang sibuyas n mglalabas ng sunog at mapait n lasa sa niluluto.. check mo po ung process at length ng time ko ng pag gisa ng sibuyas at bawang.. para masarap ang pag gisa ng meat.. 😉😊 then sundin nyo po ung exact ingredients and measurements and procedures.. kaya nyo po yn.. either you succeed or you LEARN!!! 😉😊 maraming salamat po.. 😊 please like and share n dn po.. 😊
