This sounds like it would play at the end of everything, after Saint has ascended the last Iterator and is now standing atop their can, watching the world below vanish into the Void Sea as the wind howls and the snow blankets everything.
And perhaps another world would form from those ashes, to fall the way all those worlds were destined to. The cycle never completes.

trust me, hollow knight is very nice and has a "doomed" ambience like rain world has
I know a lot of games with a ball crushing lore (or just story in general) and they make me question my whole ass life

HK is tied with Rain World for my favorite game of all time, I highly recommend it.

And the extra layers of instruments in the background as well as the leadup to the climax just hits haRD!! Adore this so much, my god Theme V caught me by surprise and I still ig catjam to it.
