These guys are the first band I've listened to regularly in at least that long that didn't use synthesizers as a core part of their sound. And I don't miss it. I went to another country 3 years ago just to see them live for the first time, in one small venue, they were headliners, but still they were not popular, I follow their work for years and years now and believe me that now I'm one of the happiest people on this world, to see them and their popularity grow, 4 years ago I knew that they will be a huge band !!! And I still remember (ofc) when, 3 years ago, Eugene said to me "You're maybe first person that I met who traveled to another country just because of us" and now there are a lot of people on their shows who travel from all over the world just to hear them, GREAT !!! Deserved !!!

Didn't see anyone posting lyrics so here they are :)
I keep on losing the keys
    From reality
And now I'm passing on the wheel
    To insanity
    In a secluded corner
Waiting for my time to come
    Waiting for the bedlam
    To be pacified
I am climbing hand over fist
    And I scratch concrete
Shine in the end my mistake
    It's not there
The air is terribly heavy here
    It settles inside
And I suffer burn, after burn
    From the dark
    Burn
    In a pit of consciousness
    Squeal is bleeding
So I feel there was someone else
    Before me
    Eyes are changing colors
A stranger knocks on my mind
    I became a foreigner
    To myself!
    Myself!
    Stillness stuns, wish I'd run
    Creeped away to the light
    In my head someone else
    Setting snares
    For my soul
    In the darkest place
    What was once named consciousness
    I'm a miniature
    I'm a sketch forfeiting outlines
    Irrelevant entity to sanity
    A hive for nonsense
    For multiple selves
    Resonating, but never compromising
    Stillness stuns, wish I'd run
    Creeped away to the light
    In my head someone else
    Setting snares
    For my soul
    For my soul
Waiting for my mind to be pacified

Screaming growl vocals are not setting yourself apart, the band is great, but if it really wants to separate itself, try singing the whole song, why are modern metal fans so conditioned to take whatever there fed, a simple example, Slayer did not sound like Metallica, Metallica did not sound like Anthrax, Anthrax did not sound like Megadeth, Megadeth did not sound like Testament, Testament did not sound like Overkill, Overkill did not sound like Kreator etc etc etc... especially not vocally, why the hell does every metal band now sing a line and then scream the same line afterwards in the background, doesn't anybody get bored of this?

    Lyrics
I keep on losing the keys
    From reality
And now I'm passing on the wheel
    To insanity.
    In a secluded corner
Waiting for my time to come
    Waiting for the bedlam
    To be pacified
I am climbing hand over fist
    And I scratch concrete
Shine in the end My mistake
    It's not there
The air is terribly heavy here
    It settles inside
And I suffer burn after burn
    From the dark. Burn
    In a pit of consciousness
    Squeal is bleeding
So I feel there was someone else
    Before me.
    Eyes are changing colors
A stranger knocks on my mind
    I became a foreigner
    To myself!
    Myself!
    Stillness stuns. Wish I'd run
    Creeped away to the light
    In my head someone else
    Setting snares
    For my soul
    In the darkest place
    What was once named consciousness
    I'm a miniature
    I'm a sketch forfeiting outlines
    Irrelevant entity to sanity
    A hive for nonsense
    For multiple selves
    Resonating, but never compromising
    Stillness stuns. Wish I'd run
    Creeped away to the light
    In my head someone else
    Setting snares
    For my soul
    For my soul

Just got this vid in my inbox, and have watched it 6 times in an hour......I think this new album (Macro) is their "VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER" , A total game changer....Jinjer will and is the premiere metal band that will take us true metal fans well into the 2020's. The vid itself is well produced, and I agree with what Whiterun Gaurd posted: whoever mixed, enginered, and recorded this does deserve a pat on the back....Jinjer is blowing up and within a yr. they are going to be headlining BIG PLACES...they are selling out all the theatere's they play, it's time for their booking agent to step up the size of the rooms they're currently playing...I can't wait till they come to the northeast (ct.) they have a huge fanbase here in Ct. , and would easily sellout any of are sheds or indoor venues. Anyway, Jinjer fucking rocks, and screw all the haters saying that they got soft on this new record, and I say bullshit...listen to Macro at top volume and you'll hear that they just got better as song writers..bands that stagnate simply fall off the rock-and-roll radar...but not Jinjer, they reignited the metal scene and within a few yrs. we'll start seeing Jinjer clones....but keep rocking Jinjer, and the peeps in Ct. got your back and YOU WILL SELL OUT IF YOU COME TO CT. WE'RE STARVING FOR GOOD METAL TO PLAY OUR STATE, CAUSE SOO MANY BAND JUST BY-PASS US. GO JINJER AND TATAI, KEEP GETTING THOSE TATTS...THEY LOOK KILLER....PEACE FROM THE NORTHEAST....

I remember catching the debut of their Astronomy video awhile back and i noticed how long that song lingered in my mind compared to other acts. Then Pisces, Teacher Teacher, Perennial and this one. Before I knew I found myself listening to whatever Jinjer put out. Only now am I realizing Im a fan. All this time I was just telling myself "I'll just see how this song sounds compared to the others" and I literally did that with every song of theirs. LOL.

    Pit of Consciousness (lyrics)
    =============================================
I keep on losing the keys
    From reality
And now I'm passing on the wheel
    To insanity
    In a secluded corner
Waiting for my time to come
    Waiting for the bedlam
    To be pacified
I am climbing hand over fist
    And I scratch concrete
Shine in the end, my mistake
    It's not there
The air is terribly heavy here
    It settles inside
And I suffer burn after burn
    From the dark
    Burn
    In a pit of consciousness
    Squeal is bleeding
So I feel there was someone else before me
    Eyes are changing colors
A stranger knocks on my mind
I became a foreigner to myself
    Myself
    Stillness stuns, wish I'd run
    Creeped away to the light
    In my head, someone else
    Setting snares
    For my soul
    In the darkest place
    What was once named consciousness
    I'm a miniature
    I'm a sketch forfeiting outlines
    Irrelevant entity to sanity
    A hive for nonsense
    For multiple selves
    Resonating but never compromising
    Stillness stuns, wish I'd run
    Creeped away to the light
    In my head, someone else
    Setting snares
    For my soul
    For my soul
Waiting for my mind to be pacified

This started with someone getting me to react to a video and now I'm obsessed with one of the sickest bands I've ever heard.
The fucking amazing and versatile vocalist.
Her range is sick. Her screams guttural.
    The drummer. The guitarist.
    They are just tight together
