UGH one of the main reasons I have yet to pick up this game, aside from being broke, is I get *stressed* when I have a time limit. I'm a big fan of the way ACNH does real-time, but I'm also fine with the way that Wylde Flowers did it where you can pick from 3 options how quickly you want time to go by. I feel like this game would really benefit from this option if they're not going to pause the construction menu. Cozy gamers like to take our sweet-ass time when we decorate damn it! Give the people what they want!
Thanks for all your amazing videos! I’m very pleased to see that the devs are working on fixes for this game. The pause during storage/inventory was a no brainer to start with, so it’s good they did that. Pausing the game during construction or decorating would be SO helpful. If you want to spend any time decorating your farm or the house it eats up entire seasons. 2 game years to hybridize all the flowers. I once started a day changing around the stuff in her house and when I got done moving furniture around and fussing with colors it was time for bed. She never even left the house that day. How dumb is that? I wish they would listen to the community about slowing the game day as well. In order to play this game you have to just not care about time at all, otherwise it’s too stressful.
Hey quick question because I can’t find the answer anywhere : after the 2 game years what happens ? Like do we keep going in the game with a 3rd year or does it make you go back to the beginning ? Like I don’t understand I just picked up the game
You can keep going as many years as you want. I'm in year 11 right now. You can complete all the npc job quests that area available. Breed all the flowers to complete your almanac. Upgrade your house to the max (5 upgrades). Decorate all 4 farms. Discover all critters and forsgsbles, etc. Tons to do. 😁

I REALLY hope they let us make flower seeds at the garden bench from our hybrids for the other farms cause no way I’m doing all that again for 3 more.
I saw they "fixed" a bug that caused certain stages of trees to look low-poly. Never had that bug until the update. 😂 I'm glad they fixed some things, though. I am still trying to breed all flowers in the most lazy way possible. Love it pauses in shed now, but wish single player would pause in building menu...

Thank you so much for all of your hard work creating videos for this game. There is so much in it and it is so awesome to have somewhere I can go for all the information I need! I played the game so much when it first came out but this update has definitely encouraged me to get back into it.
Thanks for all your help with understanding this new game! One thing I noticed for me was I bought the snowy outfit year 1 from the festival and can't find it anywhere in my inventory. Also the rareness of the mountain critters is wild! I've been hunting for hours and it's taking me forever to land a lucky find for the Job Quest. Other than that I think that's all I've noticed so far. There's still a critter that looks like a flame in the mountains that I've never seen despite finishing the storyline.
To change your outfit, you'll need to open your bag and on the bottom, select edit outfit. Tab through the different categories such as main outfit, ears, glasses, wings, etc.. to change them all there. :)

i have finished chapter 8 and viewed the credits. i don’t have the arch that you used to decorate your farm with. for further clarification, it’s in the decoration menu immediately to the left of the pergola. where did you get that, please?
If you're talking about the trellis, that's an exclusive furniture item you get from the Spring Festival on Day 28 of Spring. :) Be sure you complete ALL festivals for exclusive furniture and clothing items.

I go to take it easy 😂
SPEED PLANTING!!! LOVE IT!!! It's so satisfying and saves SO MUCH TIME!!! It's my absolute favorite thing. My other absolute favorite thing, if the devs are listening, would be if they actually DID fix the damn day clock. I am so sick of how fast the days go by, I could scream. Despite the speed planting, I'm about to head back to ACNH and say the heck with this game, because even though it's so adorable, and I do love the aesthetic of it, and the animals, and all the cutesy things, that 18-minute day is just killing me. Also, the clock should absolutely stop while in decorating/building mode. I can't decorate that way, I haven't even bothered trying to deal with the flower hybrids, and it stresses me out so much that it makes it not enjoyable to play. I've wound up just harvesting stuff every single day, and that's literally all I'm doing because that's all I have time for, which has finally gotten to the point of ridiculousness, and it's boring. I've also hit the limit that does exist in the storage a few times, so. No more. On the other stuff: The saplings... I'm actually getting fewer new saplings now than I was before the "fix." :( Not super happy about that, and also since the update the game has crashed on me six times in one evening when before it had only crashed three times in all the weeks since I started obsessively, continuously playing the game at the beginning of September, so I hope whatever is causing that gets fixed ASAP, too. The animals: my mamoos and woolyhorns are still having days of not producing anything, despite having the updated trough full at all times, plus a fodder patch in the yard outside. Everyone else produces reliably, so I don't know what the deal is there. For the relationship stuff, I had accidentally "proposed" to Jack at one point, and his little tag above his dialogue showed he was my spouse, but we never had a wedding or anything, and nothing else changed. Now it shows "Getting Serious" instead of "Spouse," BUT in his dialogue he's still talking about how it was weird for his family to not attend the wedding... that we didn't have. So some stuff still needs to be dealt with there, too. All in all, I would call the update about 60% effective, at least for the issues I've been having, and since it seems to have introduced NEW issues I wasn't dealing with before. I do really appreciate that they did such a big update and do appear to be listening to the community, but I think there's still a lot of room for improvement. And sadly, I really do think I'm about done and back to ACNH unless that clock gets dealt with. I don't want cozy games that stress me out and make me feel like I have to run through the days without breathing.
Sorry you're having so many problems with the game. I highly recommend you report any bugs/glitches you're having to the devs on their discord so they can be made aware and hopefully get it fixed. Thxs for video how do you water more than one plant at a time. I can plant the seeds no problem by holding down x or so but water just does one at time using xbox controlller .
You have to use the magic ability of your iron watering can or higher level. If you don't have an iron watering can, you can't use that ability yet. I believe it's Y on the controller.
Are the animals able to eat grass outside in the fields thats how i think its supposed to work but im seeing no effect of this every night my animals consume a food from their feeder. I have tried planting the appropriate grass type for big and small animals etc. and i put a post up so that the animals know to hang out in the grass. So idk. Im playing on switch.
If they have already already been fed from their trough, they won't eat the grass outside. If you send them outside before they eat from the trough, they will eat from the grass patch you place. Be sure you are also placing the correct grass patches in each farm area. :)
I started using an app that stops game time. It was so frustrating to have days go by while I’m doing flowers or something. The app’s not perfect either but better. Hopefully the creators will do some more time fixing!
I wouldn't trust using third party sources to do any changes in the game since it's not a game that would support modding or third party sources. Use at your own risk and be aware that if anything does break in the game, the devs won't be able to provide support for it. Still glad you're able to play more comfortably though!
I have a bug regarding the last job quest for animal care, it's stuck at 16 animal of different color even after I surpassed the 20 by a lot ç__ç I tried to keep breeding new color but the number doesn't change
Have you already updated your game with the latest update? If so and you're still stuck, I highly recommend you report that to the devs so they can take a look at it. You can check them out over on their discord. :) Good luck!!
There's TONS of things I wish we could have in the almanac such as a tracker for the colored animals and definitely the color swatches! We 100% need an Almanac overhaul. :)
After the update I now have this weird tracker on my screen for a fertilizer. I can't get rid of it. 😆 My cattle still acts weird. 😆 There's more... 😂 But it's fine. I learned to roll with the game as is before, I can keep going.
If it's a tracker for a fertilizer recipe, maybe you pinned it by accident? You can pin recipes you're currently looking for materials for so that sounds like it could be that. Try going to your garden bench, highlight the fertilizer then unpin it using the control shown on the bottom right corner of your screen. My animals always act weird in the sense that they move weird and are just funny. lol If you have other issues, be sure to report them over on the Fae Farm discord so they are made aware. :) Happy Farming!
@@crystalkennedy7435 Yup, you can also put the lure around it so they are sure to hang out in that general area. They won't eat instantly but as you're doing things throughout the day, they'll all mostly have been fed. I fill up my troughs and keep a patch out for them always. :)
Please help me …. Im trying to find feyrite to upgrade my net because im trying to catch blobs because i have to make fairbreath potion . And i cant use the net i have now it keeps telling me my net isn’t strong enough.. please help me .. and your videos are awesome by the way . Thank you
You'll need to go into the Floating Ruins dungeon and mine the feyrite just like you would copper and iron. :) To upgrade your net, go to Mel the bee keeper and you can buy a new net. :) Happy Farming!
Any menuing should pause the game. Also one thing I find annoying I when I open my inventory to eat something or drink a potion, I can still get attacked! >.< That being said the Gone potion is an absolute godsend. My favorite potion in the game. Can't wait to be able to make the medium one (unfortunately my farming level isn't high enough yet). And I have some animal glitches as well. The other night I noticed my Chickoo mid-air O_O. I even screencapped it. I should post the screencap and caption it. :P
Like what @kacykloud999 said, you don't need a combo. You can put out 1-4 apple trees and wait till you get the apricot then once you have the fully grown apricot tree, put that one in there to breed as well. They have a higher chance to give you more apricot saplings than the apple trees alone.
For the Animal Care 8 job quest, you have to breed a Lunen that is at 6 bar level of happiness. If you're not sure how to get to six bars, I do go over it in my Animal Care video. Hope that helps!

I was hoping they’d fix a mushroom bug bc idk why I did it but there’s a shroom that won’t be picked up and so I put a plot under it and now I can’t get the plot back 💀😂
I find there has been tons of stuff to do that has made it worth the value for myself but everybody is different. I have hundreds over hours in the game already and not intending to stop any time soon.
The fix that gives you the 3 outfits is only the fix up for those that were stuck in the fiancé state in multiplayer as mentioned in the patch notes. Normal weddings without any problems will only give you the outfit you choose.
The game doesn’t allow me to reset any of my relationship statuses. It’s so frustrating that it made me stop playing. I also never got the wedding scene.
Did you try looking in the relationship status menu, there should be a option on there to reset the relationships. I was the same, forced into a random marriage without having todo ant quest or ceremony for it. I just tried to ignore it and not talk to the character i was forced married to until it got fixed.
The update should have fixed all the issues with the wedding and dating, but if it hasn't, I highly recommend reporting it to the devs on their discord. If you don't have discord, you can try their website to see if they have a way to report it there. :) Happy Farming!
I noticed the differences with the update, but one downside is that the music and background now sound HORRIBLE. I liked playing with that soothing music now it sounds like my Switch is underwater!
@@LucyDisco I just created a new save to test that out and it still works perfectly fine for me. Your energy will still show it's being drained but once you get down to no energy, you will continue being able to do everything so long as you didn't skip chapter 1. If you don't see the clock on the upper right corner of your game, you can take all the time you want in that first chapter.

Oh right thxs i thought it was some other way to water plants i discovered the water can special today.
Are the animals able to eat grass outside in the fields thats how i think its supposed to work but im seeing no effect of this every night my animals consume a food from their feeder. I have tried planting the appropriate grass type for big and small animals etc. and i put a post up so that the animals know to hang out in the grass. So idk. Im playing on switch.
If they have already already been fed from their trough, they won't eat the grass outside. If you send them outside before they eat from the trough, they will eat from the grass patch you place. Be sure you are also placing the correct grass patches in each farm area. :)

I started using an app that stops game time. It was so frustrating to have days go by while I’m doing flowers or something. The app’s not perfect either but better. Hopefully the creators will do some more time fixing!
I wouldn't trust using third party sources to do any changes in the game since it's not a game that would support modding or third party sources. Use at your own risk and be aware that if anything does break in the game, the devs won't be able to provide support for it. Still glad you're able to play more comfortably though!
I have a bug regarding the last job quest for animal care, it's stuck at 16 animal of different color even after I surpassed the 20 by a lot ç__ç I tried to keep breeding new color but the number doesn't change

I have 2 tree prop areas and just sell all the additional saplings (I have kept 8 of each tree first) since they make 450+ each.

I’d like to see a place in the almanac for showing color swatches. I can’t remember what I have and don’t. Although now it’s mostly don’t have!
There's TONS of things I wish we could have in the almanac such as a tracker for the colored animals and definitely the color swatches! We 100% need an Almanac overhaul. :)
the prop hive fix is very needed cause I had the 3 hive setup and filled them with bees like 3-4 times and I've only gotten like 6 saplings max

After the update I now have this weird tracker on my screen for a fertilizer.
I can't get rid of it. 😆

If it's a tracker for a fertilizer recipe, maybe you pinned it by accident? You can pin recipes you're currently looking for materials for so that sounds like it could be that. Try going to your garden bench, highlight the fertilizer then unpin it using the control shown on the bottom right corner of your screen.
My animals always act weird in the sense that they move weird and are just funny. lol If you have other issues, be sure to report them over on the Fae Farm discord so they are made aware. :) Happy Farming!

@@crystalkennedy7435 Yup, you can also put the lure around it so they are sure to hang out in that general area. They won't eat instantly but as you're doing things throughout the day, they'll all mostly have been fed. I fill up my troughs and keep a patch out for them always. :)

You'll need to go into the Floating Ruins dungeon and mine the feyrite just like you would copper and iron. :) To upgrade your net, go to Mel the bee keeper and you can buy a new net. :) Happy Farming!

Any menuing should pause the game. Also one thing I find annoying I when I open my inventory to eat something or drink a potion, I can still get attacked! >.< That being said the Gone potion is an absolute godsend. My favorite potion in the game. Can't wait to be able to make the medium one (unfortunately my farming level isn't high enough yet).
And I have some animal glitches as well. The other night I noticed my Chickoo mid-air O_O. I even screencapped it. I should post the screencap and caption it. :P
With the next update, jumbles will now pause when we go into a pause menu so we won't get attacked while paused anymore. :D

With which combo of trees do you get Apricot trees?
Like what @kacykloud999 said, you don't need a combo. You can put out 1-4 apple trees and wait till you get the apricot then once you have the fully grown apricot tree, put that one in there to breed as well. They have a higher chance to give you more apricot saplings than the apple trees alone.
I was having so much trouble getting the fruit I needed, can anyone give me tips on how to do Animal Care 8 quest ?
For the Animal Care 8 job quest, you have to breed a Lunen that is at 6 bar level of happiness. If you're not sure how to get to six bars, I do go over it in my Animal Care video. Hope that helps!
@@JadeMistGaming unfortunately I’ve breed four with 6 bar happiness but the quest just isn’t completing, I did make sure I had the quest first so I’m now assuming the quest is broken, thank you for trying to help
I was hoping they’d fix a mushroom bug bc idk why I did it but there’s a shroom that won’t be picked up and so I put a plot under it and now I can’t get the plot back 💀😂

To be honest, they'd have to do a lot to make it worth the price. At this point I have no intention of purchasing unless there's a huge discount.
I find there has been tons of stuff to do that has made it worth the value for myself but everybody is different. I have hundreds over hours in the game already and not intending to stop any time soon.
So I’m married and I don’t have the other outfit in my inventory 😢so idk what to do… 😅
The fix that gives you the 3 outfits is only the fix up for those that were stuck in the fiancé state in multiplayer as mentioned in the patch notes. Normal weddings without any problems will only give you the outfit you choose.

The game doesn’t allow me to reset any of my relationship statuses. It’s so frustrating that it made me stop playing. I also never got the wedding scene.
Did you try looking in the relationship status menu, there should be a option on there to reset the relationships. I was the same, forced into a random marriage without having todo ant quest or ceremony for it. I just tried to ignore it and not talk to the character i was forced married to until it got fixed.
I did try to reset all of the forced marriages the game gave me. It would never reset. I hope this update fixes it so I can enjoy playing again.

The update should have fixed all the issues with the wedding and dating, but if it hasn't, I highly recommend reporting it to the devs on their discord. If you don't have discord, you can try their website to see if they have a way to report it there. :) Happy Farming!
I noticed the differences with the update, but one downside is that the music and background now sound HORRIBLE. I liked playing with that soothing music now it sounds like my Switch is underwater!

@@LucyDisco I just created a new save to test that out and it still works perfectly fine for me. Your energy will still show it's being drained but once you get down to no energy, you will continue being able to do everything so long as you didn't skip chapter 1. If you don't see the clock on the upper right corner of your game, you can take all the time you want in that first chapter.
