Now let's just hope that your parents don't want to know what happened to all the Saran Wrap all of a sudden.
Nice hoodie, I'm a huge fan.
We had a very "shitty" situation, and thanks to this method Sir, the toilet is now better than ever! So big thanks for saving our Saturday!
HOLY MOLY THANK U SO MUCH I DIDNT WANT MY PARENTS TO KNOW THE TOIELT GOT CLOG AND THIS METHOD REALLY WORK THANK UU!!!
🤣
Happens to the best of us😢😂
Use a plunger lol
@@friendlyneighborhoodcow8776 he probably doesn’t have one
@@nick.charaz9661 He? Really? Lol
IT WORKS!!! I’ve just had to use this method in my own bathroom. IT WORKS!!
You need to use at least 2 layers and make certain the back end is sealed. Hold the edge down with your hand while you push the wrap down into the toilet bowl.
I have a good plunger, but I can’t use it right now because I have a shoulder injury. So this was an excellent solution.
By the way, if your plunger only cost $2, you’re probably using the wrong kind of plunger. There are plungers for sinks and tubs, and plungers for toilets.
worked for me just left it and about 10 mins later a big woosh all gone
I can see this going horribly wrong.
+ELAINE me too
Like, what if it breaks...?
I just tried with a garbage bag and duct tape. Shit water started leaking out After the air pushed the valve in the tank open and then kept letting water in. Then the water loosened the tape and created leaks.
Morph code😂
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS
If your gonna use this method use dishwashing liquid first before you put the saran wrap on the bowl. I don't know it all but just a little trick to help you people out.
Why did I not read this
Before disaster
I did that today the soap it worked
THIS REALLY WORKED! thank you. Just some extra tips I found good for doing it:
1. I removed the lid from the toilet so it's easier to place the saran wrap all around. It's just 2 plastic nuts.
2. I opened the toilet's tank and taped the overflow pipe so the air pressure would be much higher.
3. Previously, I added dish soap and boiling water to the bowl so the toilet walls get slippery and easier to slide away through the pipes the "reason of clogged".
You would never want to pour boiling water in the toilet. Ceramic can break.
@@abouttime2569 I don't agree. Ceramic is one of the most heat resistant materials. That's why is used widely for cooking and it is literally done in 1000+ºC ovens!
@@antoniocardoso1219 You can disagree, but it is literally a widely known proven fact. You never dump boiling water to toilets because it can literally crack due to sudden temperature change.
@@abouttime2569 But then why unclooging products advise you to use boiling water? And also, if your toilet has cold water in it and you pour just 1/2 liters of boiling water, is impossible for the temperature to be so high for a thermal shock.
It was the ONLY thing that unclogged my toilet. I was desperate for two days and tried almost everything, plunger, hot water, dish soap, but to no avail.
I did it with the cling wrap and it worked perfectly! One tip I discovered: it's useful to use tape mainly close to the lid to secure the cling wrap in place and step on it with one foot. This way all the pressure and air will be trapped.
In my case the water wasn't going up so much, but it wasn't coming down as fast as it should. Simply amazing. Thanks
It worked! Thank you so much. I tried dish soap and hot water and no result. This method seal the deal!
Half worked! :D (wasnt keeping totally sealed but it did the job! Glad wrap used)
Thanks for the tip!
So inginuitive! You're brave! My luck the toilet would've overflowed regardless
It's a lot less messy if you don't flush as part of the operation, before the clog is gone. Adding a flush to whatever disgusting contents are already in there just slowly fills up the air space (plus could send things over the edge), and the air is what you're trying to use to push against the clog.
Just wrap it with several layers to help it resist tearing and to seal the 'seams' in the middle, and push down briskly a couple of times on the cling wrap, using both hands to direct more of the air down the drain (plus help prevent tears in the wrap), and this should move enough of the air trapped in the bowl down the drain.
The pushes must be very quick, not a slow 'mooshing', to help offset the inevitable air leakage, which happens not only around the cling wrap, but also up through the holes under the rim that lead back to the tank (i.e., the path the water takes to go into the bowl). A full tank will help hold down the flapper, but you can also do the extra steps of having a helper hold that down with a broomstick, or even tape over the overflow pipe.
But those extra steps usually aren't necessary. A perfect leak-proof air seal isn't possible, either with this method or a plunger pushing its trapped air or water down (which as you know, also never perfectly fits the bottom of the bowl). Luckily, a perfect seal isn't necessary either -- you're just looking to briskly push against the clog with enough force to dislodge it.
This worked SO well for me! At first I was so scared the water was going to overflow and then my bathroom floor would be covered in water but that wasn’t the case!! Instead I flushed the toilet two or three times (but not all at once) and then it finally worked!! I think a tip is to make sure no air will escape and that the Saran Wrap is tightly wrapped over it. This worked for me THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Saved me so much more time than looking for a plunger or the plastic bag and toilet cleaning scrub thing!! 😄
Get a plunger
@@friendlyneighborhoodcow8776 you'd think right, this might sound gross & dumb, but I took my plunger to a friend to unclog his toilet, I just said keep it, now you've got one. Then had to go buy a new plunger, why would someone not have a plunger?
Very good idea, I never seen anything like that before and I never thought something like that would work, thanks for the idea
Tried this method this morning, we didn't have to touch the wrap after it was placed on the toilet. After a few seconds of the wrap bowing up the water went on it own.
You solved our problem. Great thanks to you.
I was panicking so much and came to this video. Thank god it worked. Tysm
I could find my toilet plunger anywhere and I couldn’t leave my toilet clogged, took a quick gamble with this video hoping I won’t mess this up.. i did, just kidding it actually worked for real barely an inconvenience and it didn’t take me too long to wrap the toilet I’d made sure to cover all gaps by the way, thanks dud, you saved me the hassle 👌😗💨
I Kidd you not, this just worked for me on the second try. I barely put pressure on it but I let the bowl fill to the top and voila. I’ve been putting dish soap and boiling water in my toilet for two with no results. Thank you.
Wow! This actually worked!!! Thanks a million :) 🚽
This worked so well!! Not one drop of water even touched the wrap. I got the press and seal since it was on sale. Only downside is that it’s a bit hard to see through. Otherwise it worked very well.
Here I am months later coming back to make sure I was doing it right 😅 my daughter really clogged it good this time 🤡💀
Thannnks dude.
I fixed the problem and took a shower at the same time😂😂💔.
What use is your toilet if it clogs with that little bit of TP? How on earth do you poop in it???
I believe what is happening is that the saran wrap seals around the top of the toilet and when it's flushed, water is introduced. Since the air cannot get out around the rim, it forces the saran wrap up and then compresses slightly. When you press down on the saran wrap, there's slightly more downward pressure put on the plug than produced by the weight of the water alone. (Not much though, since air compresses so easily.) If it's a very minor plug, this *might* help push it through. It's very unlikely though IMO.
The reason I feel this way is because unfortunately, toilets are designed so that the plumbing gets smaller as it goes until it hits the soil pipe going through the floor. This means that downward pressure is the opposite of what you want in this application. You want downward pressure in sinks to force everything through as they're plumbed straight and drawing the plug back isn't going to do a whole heck of a lot. Toilets, you want an upward pressure on the clog so that it is drawn up where it has room to break up; downward pressure usually makes it worse unless it's a very minor clog.
The nice thing about plungers is that they work both ways - push it down hard for use in sinks to create a downward pressure and pull up hard when using it in toilets to create an upward pressure. If you don't have a plunger, just go buy one - they're not expensive. =)
It would be interesting to run another test, this time clogging the toilet twice using the same number of sheets of TP to clog it. On the first, use this hack. On the other, try flushing intermittently and see how many it takes before it clears. As others have noted, TP breaks up pretty easy & simply sitting in water for a period of time will eventually clear a clog composed entirely of TP.
Merci beaucoup depuis la France j’ai essayé l’astuce je vous dis que c’est trop génial💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
*At store searching for things to unclog toilet*
*Picks up plunger*
*Sees saran wrap, drops plunger*
Me: This should do it!
Holy ****! I TRIED EVERYTHING before I saw this. My toilet was clogged , like really clogged. It worked! You really have to tie it up tightly, otherwise it's a disaster, but it worked!
Thank you !
Stop eating Mexican food
My Dad used to do stuff like this when he'd mix his pills with booze.
LMAO

Great comment
that,s a good one
It worked! Life saver thank you😊
Love the vids keep it going!
+Connor Mazza thank you
I am familiar with the dish soap and hot boiling water (which I used in the past and it works) I had a clogged toilet for a little over a week. The tried and true (dish soap & hot water) didn't seem to work. It was so much water and it basically filled to the top. I have never heard of this hack but I can say that it works!! I still think the soap and water could of contribute to it as well. I had just enough cling wrap (food lion brand) to wrap my toilet. I placed the cling wrap, flushed (water was all over the floor 🤦🏽♀️😳) Removed some of the water from the toilet and before I knew it the water was going down the toilet.😃🙌🏽 Thank you for sharing this video!
This man is gorgeous..kudos to your beard 🤟
It worked well...thank you so much
its particularly difficult to seal certain areas of the toilet but as you press down it begins to work like a plunger.
I tried it toilet water, crap, and pee went everywhere
Kamusta_ Kamyg you didn’t use good Saran Wrap and you didn’t seal it well
Same
Just cuz you see it on UA-cam does not mean you need to try it yourself.
You can turn the water off if it starts getting high. I was trying this method and I did turned the water off because it was getting high and then it unclogged.
If you have a septic system and haven't drained it in 3 years then you need a drainage instead.
Watching this was like watching a scary movie. Hoping it wouldnt spill on the floor.
Dude this was just weird but I found it funny you trying to attempt this
Love the editing
This technique actually does work except it didn't overflow on me it was fast and clean thanks for the video
You said except like it was a bad thing that it didn't overflow 😆😆
This WORKS. BETTER THAN A PLUNGER. LEGIT
Yesssss it worked thank you guys for sharing this video
This method works thanks so much for the video it helped me so much and it took less than ten minutes to complete..... :)
Right on. I'm happy it helped
Y'all can make jokes about this video all you want.....but me & my wife literally did this & it absolutely WORKS!
U gotta keep your hand over the plastic. I used the press and seal stuff. But, this actually works.
This is definitely one of the most effective ways to unblock a severely blocked toilet................
Nah a cupped plunger is better. (It’s the one plumbers use)
the secret is the push down before the air pushes the weakest part of the wrap up... LOL you were doing it after some of the air escaped... :)
My niece used two pieces and it worked you have to get good Saran Wrap and seal it
broooooo! i poured some fabuloso in the bowl after reading some comments... pressed down the plastic several times before I flushed... flushed and then it filled up a lot but not overflowing... pushed down more on the plastic... waited, and then everything got sucked down all at once! it really does work 😅
Thank you i tried it and it worked
Glad Wrap is not the same as Saran Wrap. The original Saran Wrap was made from a totally different kind of plastic film, that was thicker, stronger, with way better cling, yet easier to handle, and with over 3000 times better blocking of oxygen to keep food fresher longer.
+Chuck Bagg do you think that it changes the results?
Chuck Bagg lo on. Joe Hart is not an issue that
thought i was watching a SNL video.I had many laughs. I learned one thing: I'll never do this...
Thanks for this! You save me 😊
There's an actual way that's similar to this, but it doesn't use saran wrap. I've only seen it used in other countries. But it's a big piece of plastic that slaps down on the toilet and seals. Then pressure is added repeatedly, and it works.
Very helpful..thanks for sharing this
Thank you very much, it really worked !!!
Wow! I just did this and it works 100%
A bit of water leaked from somewhere at 4:42
+Daniel Thompson yes from the back of the bowl. Good eye
Daniel Thompson Glad to know I wasn’t the only one that saw that lol
LMAO 4:42 a drop of water hits the ground "IT WORKED!!!!"
Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😊
thank you so much! It really works
Use plastic bag tied over toilet brush or Clorox wand and plunge 2-3 times into part where water drains out. Super fast unclogged toilet. Can also use dishwashing soap to disinfect water a little.
Cool vid however im wondering if the water pressure that was already in the bowl assisted in the unclogging vs the actual suction created by the wrap, also tp dissolves quickly..
Maybe you're right but it does still work
Did you see water coming out a little bit maybe next time yours lots of packing tape duct tape and plastic wrap the press n seal plastic wrap
THAT WILL WORK
+Mic and Wooly Gaming I doubt that I would ever use suran wrap or tape to unclog my toilet the thought is laughable to me why anyone would
I used tape to unclog my toilet **Ended up with yucky hands and flooded floor**
wow why does everyone hate me im bullied at school im bullied everywere you know what fuck you i bet your abortion hadi and i bet the mean kids are adopted
I've done it with vinegar and the wrap and it worked great no mess
Ingenuity at its finest
I'll stick with a two dollar plunger
+juan perez me too
$2 !? Lol. I just spent $10 @ Walmart Neighborhood for a plunger set; all they had. Set was plunger, holder, toilet brush & scrub brush. Kroger across street from WN was $15 for plunger only!
me too
Ee eEEE
Definitely use extra layers of wrap so ur hands don't go through. F Y I
I'm using some gloves
Why am I watching toilet videos 🤣
Thank you so much. I poured soap dish in the toilet bowl followed by a bucket of hot water and added a little more soap dish for good measure, the water was all fuming which is good because I wasn't seeing the hot mess in the toilet any more lol. So I proceed to wrapping the toilet with at least 10sheet of the kling Film till am pretty sure my hands won't go through it. My husband was held both sides of the wraps while I make a gentle press on top with 1-2 pushes my toilet was back to normal.
Using tape is actually better than the plastic wrap. It really worked.
The Prank has become the Hack
Hi nice video thank you for sharing unclog a toilet cool 😎👍
Yes, it worked, but on something that was easily dissolved down the tube. What about something like a wash cloth, or a kids' toy? That's what usually clogged toilets in my community .. lots of kids.
Good job bro
Bro lower the music and have prepared lines until u fall into a groove of how to present. However I think a script is always the best idea. But cool video
Great job
Thank you so much for your video 🙏
Who else doesn't have a clogged toilet, nor would unclog a toilet, but is still watching this video?
My kids clogged my toilet and I did this it worked the first try 💕
Be careful to use this method! For easy clogging, it may work. For tough clogging, it DOES NOT work and the water will FLOW OUT!!! I tried and find COULD NOT push down the water as wanted!
I was expecting his big hands to go through the saran wrap. Good thing. didnt happen
Shiiiit, my toilet will take anything down. It’s a Kholer.
It work for me thanks man !!
It helps me with my toilety yesterday thx
It probably would have worked the first flush but pushing down on the wrap so much you could hear the air pressure breaking the seal.
Good job it work
It is interesting
I tried everything. Nothing worked until I found this video. Thanks alot. It really worked. 02 layers were enough.
Wow 😮 awesome
"get your hands all dirty" while holding the Saran wrap box that I know they are still going to use
I had some spare packing film ....sealed it up good and voila! With only 1 layer cuz it's big!
It worked for me, thanks guys
You’re supposed to fill it to the brim and practically push waste water down using the saran wrap
that good that is works, but i wouldn't want to get that close to poo lol. also plunders are pretty cheap.
pour a fair amt of dish detergent in the toilet and let it set for about 20 minutes. dish detergent has petroleum in it and it also is heavier then the water so it goes to the bottom and starts lubricating the sides and swoosh clog gone
Next time you’re at the store buying Saran Wrap, buy a plunger.
Lol
This method was first developed by the brilliant engineers who worked on the Mexican space program. Eventually they just gave up and directed their efforts to creating a Chevy Impala that could 'bounce' up and down.
Vraiment merci beaucoup beaucoup
Looks like it was the pressure from the amount of water. That's what we did in college. No plunger. Fill it and hope it goes down lol
Life saver video💪💪👏👏👏🙏🙏
For the cost of the plastic wrap u coukd purchase a plunger...lol good to know
Joe the plumber is going to be real pissed off at you! 😬
Ohh I just tried it but must've done something wrong, it didn't work for me. Maybe I'll try again. It's hard to get it vacuum!
