Honey I watched this video from start to finish and oh my heavens my mouth sure was watering! This meal looked SO DELICIOUS! Your family and loved ones are so lucky that they are lucky enough to enjoy this amazing meal for them with love and generosity! This meal was cooked 3 years ago Ms Peggy but I truly love going back and reviewing meals that I may have missed. You have been so encouraging to me. I started watching you and your daughter around the time of the begining of the pandemic. Your words of wisdom and prayers are a highlight of my days. Like I said before you remind me of my Mother in the Lord who has went on home to be with the Lord. You cook like her. Your voice sounds like her. You even look like her. Your children are truly blessed to still have you throw down in the kitchen......My mom has stopped cooking we have to cook the Holiday meals now or take her out to eat are invite her over to our house...Don't get me wrong we love doing what we do but we missed her hands in the Kitchen ain't nothing like mamma's cooking.

I have only gotten some of my grandma's recipes over the years, I didn't even think about asking her to write them down before she died many years ago.😒 It does my heart good to see my daughter, who lives in deep East Texas, enjoying Sunday dinners that are similar to your menu, with all of her in-laws. Some people still do big Sunday dinner's, but not many.

Welcome aboard Linda! Cooking is one of my greatest passions! Recipe for cornbread: 2 cups self-driving meal, 2 eggs, 1 cups milk, 3/4 cup oil, 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup butter to pour over bread once it is cooked. Bake @ 375 for 20 minutes.😘

The broccoli salad looks good, was the broccoli cooked before adding the rest of the ingredients? How do deal with the gas in it when uncooked? When is the restaurant opening cause we need one.
Just like my late Grandma used to say: "Always make a little extra of EVERYTHING. You don't know who might show up, or which fat asses would want more. Either way, ain't nobody going home hungry. Not on a Sunday!". Thank you Auntie, the food looks amazing.

You didn’t add any water at all to the roast ? Any beef cubes ? Nothing and you got all that broth ?
No water at all! If you study food you will discover that meat and vegetables have a natural water content and in some cases water is not necessary during g the cooking process. Also, it helps if you know and understand how to cook food properly. Hope this helps you.😘
They pump meat full of salt water and sometimes dye to help preserve it and make it heavier. On the nutriton label look for the percentage of saline/saline solution. Thats salt water. Store bought beef does leach out more water, but butchered home raised beef will leach some, too.
