If the test should come back negative for both of you even with that you should continue to use condoms for at least another 6 months and then have a test again because someone could have committed a indiscretion that won't show up for another 6 months. I’m glad you’re speaking out because ppl think age can exempt you from hiv. Also for the ppl commenting about her risking patient’s lives. We healthcare professionals treat EVERYONE as though they are infected. We are more likely to contract hep B than HIV in the hospital. Your dr could be positive you son/daughter or grandkids could be positive. Let’s not forget that before the 80s blood banks were infected, ppl were infected during surgeries & blood transfusions. The truth is we are more of a risk to an hiv + person than they are to us unless you’re having unprotected sex. I’ve worked in a trauma ICU for 20+ yrs and we don’t stigmatize some ppl but all! That’s why hospitals have universal precautions.

I found out he was sleeping with prostitutes. He’s a fine gorgeous handsome, enough words can’t describe, but he’s also a narcissistic, bi polar man with a sex addiction. I’m no therapist but he wasn’t taking his medication to lessen his urges and take care of himself so I had to leave him. The sex was amazing but not enough to compromise my health any longer.
