i couldn't agree more. I HATE this kind of open ended stuff. They did and still do the same with these talent shows like AGT or BGT or what ever. I could start a list of great artists auditioning for the first time in their life, and they sang a beautiful song or cover but only parts. Ridiculous.

I can't help but watch this version and think what a scary Mrs Bonnie would make, I knew her once. If I were her husband I know I would be wishing she wasn't quite so.... Bonnie for my own safety. I fell in love with "Total Eclipse of the Heart" then we come here to about 20 years later. Bonnie's voice has deteriorated from gravel to dump truck load of dirty stones. I don't like it, but that is only my personal opinion and taste. It does seem to have a place in music today, I am just not sure where but don't think this is it.
