I have seen many channels talking about college admissions, but your channel is by far the clearest! (By the way, I notice your copies of Aegis on the background. I don't remember where my copies are anymore).
What an advice!!! This channel needs to be harnessed by much more students, and I know on the coming few years it will be among the best of best college resource channels, remember my words😊 Thanks a lot!
Thank you for the brilliant overview. Love your tips on what to write. One question - does learning to code and getting an internship related to programming count as "having an impact?"
No. Having an impact means adding value or making a tangible improvement to some community you belong to. If you learn to code, and then offer free website services to nonprofits in your area, that could constitute having an impact.
Thank you for the overview. Talking about personal statements, is it ok to write about how bad relationships of my parents impacted my growth? I am aiming for pre med and become psychologist or psychiatrist.
Yes, you can write about that. As long as your story isn't a "downer," and you used the experience to fall in love with the subject of psychology, etc. Most of the essay should be about you, and your academic growth, and not about someone else.
While there's nothing inherently wrong with being undecided, declaring an intended major can definitely boost your personal narrative, which helps admissions officers understand how you'll make an impact on campus.
Im starting my application now but im homeschooled from the uk so theres not much specific info on how i should apply. My predicted grades for a levels are 3 A's which i think is equivalent to a 4.0 gpa. Im doing an internship at a hospital shadowing a radiologist but thats pretty much my only extra curricular because i cant join school clubs. I also am a professional concert/tour photographer, should i mention this on my application even though im applying for biology?
In middle school there were opertunities that I had no idea about and this made people in my freshman yr class be able to take around 4aps meanwhile I was only able to take one is that fine?
I wouldn't worry too much about getting a "slow start." It's what you accomplish sophomore, junior and senior year that will matter the most in college admissions.

It was wonderful video,Thank you so much😊
My question is "will it affect my possibilities to get accepted if I choose undecided major"??

Yes, you should definitely highlight anything you've done that shows uncommon expertise or achievement.
