I've always been a big fan of the Clodbuster, Juggernaut, USA-1, and now the Losi LMT! They just have that original old school look that will never die 💪🏼

Only if it has solid axles and Clodbuster sized monstertruck tires it is a true RC monstertruck. Anything else is just a fantasy toy.
I will say the Kyosho Usa-1 electric should've been on this list but awesome video regardless
My Dad bought the original USA-1 sometime in the early 90s, that one is my fav.

I love Clods and TXTs. Modded, of course but stock is fun too. I'm really interested in the LMT and the Kyosho MT's too. But I my Clodbuster and TXT-1 are in pieces and gotta finish my mod project before I think about buying another truck.

I was trying to get my hands on one and they all sold out...even on Ebay. Hopefully Redcat will catch up with their stock soon. Its a pretty cool truck and a complete RTR including battery. And it already has 4 wheel steering.😃

My favorite will always be the Clodbuster. Bought my first in 1987, just got and have started building the Super Clodbuster.... modified so it will actually STEER and have a WORKING Suspension!
Clods are fun stock, and bouncing about with only rear steer...
But over the Decades, modding them is satisfying and great fun!
Unless Santa is dropping off a LMT... I'll never own one. 😫

tamiya txt2 is very hard to find. So I decided spending on a LMT roller chassis, just waiting for the electronics to come
Yeah you are better off. You will never find parts for the Agrios anymore without getting a whole kit.

Nice! The Clod is basically the truck that started it all. Yes there was a few others but the Clod basically created the whole monster truck segment. I have few.
@@KaizerTest yeah its been a dream to have one i got a stadium blitzer back in the day it broke in a week it wasnt ment for what i wanted but my dad got it anyway it broke we never fixed it and it sat for years he never got me anything else. now im a adult and decided after seeing one in a video i had to now i cant stop upgrading it
@@bigballmagrawl0929 Wow...too bad he didn't fix it. But at least you came back now. I was in RC since 1978 and left in 1995 before Lipo batteries came on the scene. I came back about 6 years ago and its a brand new hobby to me again. I managed to get my Slash 4x4 modified into a GT street car up to 138mph or 222kph. I never dreamed that was possible in 1995...hahaha. But I still have a soft spot for the classic RC's.
@@KaizerTest me to that's why I got that clod instead of a lmt had to k keep the classic alive that and some of them chassis on the clods are pretty sweet looking in 35 and building this thing made me feel 15 again lol

Still love the clod, though I have never owned one, but it can't be denied it was the kit that started it all, however, and yeah this is cheating as it is a custom built truck ground up, but my 3rd scale granite is my favorite, but I can't have built it if I didn't build my monster beetle and mid night pumpkin first. 5he sparked a fascinating love that took my love of models to a whole new level, literally, still got them both as a matter of fact they are shelf queens as the are original, I replaced all worn parts and set them on my shelf to remind me, wife thinks I'm nuts, but man, I just can't let them go

Definitely an amazing truck but we were looking at trucks that most people could afford. The Raminator is thousands of dollars. But definitely a cool truck.

The radiolink RC6GS V2 is a fantastic radio and budget friendly. You can have many different models on it as well. Its a wheel transmitter though.

No Kyosho Mad Force series of trucks, 4s brushless power house's...I've got several of these rigs, including the SMT/LMT, Mad Force literally runs circles around these trucks....

I use to build my own off road trucks but the biggest tires I ran were 33" because my trucks were still street driven. Yeah I like his mock up...I'd love any monster truck like that.

LMT is weak compared to AXIAL
They both have their own weaknesses. For the price the SMT is more fun. Just add a cheap motor and esc and it can handle more because it's lighter, even with the stock axles.
