Oneal Rider Budget Motocross boot initial impressions. $100 boots

Picked up the Oneal Rider Motocross boots for $100 new and after two ride I wanted to give my thought on them for sport quad riding. Entry level / budget motocross boots are they worth it?

nice review, they look decent, i ride enduro and have a few boots, only issues i have is that my boots aren't water proof one bit!

Thanks, yeah I’ve never gone in any kind of deep water with them just splashed water on them from puddles and creeks and some snow riding covered them in snow but my feet never got wet from those instances.

how did they last have they worn in abit got abit easier to ride oin or stayed stiff as, thanks

For the price I’m happy, yea they do loosen up a bit but i also wear them a lot and prefer a stiffer boot. I’m known to wear them on a 3-4 hr ride and then walk around camp in them for an hour or two incase we ride more.
I got very use to riding boots and I never ride without them now but after 3 years or hard riding every week the top two strap final broke on each boot but I’m pretty sure you can buy replacements online and just a tiny bit of the paint or vinyl down in the creases under the straps where you ankle bends is starting to flake off and lose color but it’s not torn or leaking or anything.
If you never rode in boots it’s a big adjustment no matter the brand but after big rocks or sticks hit them and save your feet and legs it won’t matter. Plus standing and hitting big jumps and bumps the boots make it much nicer on your feet.
