Darkthrone - "It Beckons Us All" Album Review

Darkthrone recently released their new 2024 album “It Beckons Us All…” and I want to cover it as we’ve discussed Darkthrone on the channel before. Fenriz and Nocturno Culto have been on something of a streak recently, with this recent album feeling like the third in a trilogy of excellent albums, alongside Eternal Hails and Astral Fortress.

I also enjoyed this new Darkthrone record. Its the closest they've done to death metal since their debut, obviously that's more their Celtic Frost influence than anything else, but its interesting considering how much they distanced themselves from Soulside Journey

Sorry for the change of topic what is your opinion on Black Magick SS? Funny enough they got me in to black metal, even though they are not black metal themselves.

No problem! I think their stuff is great, particularly Rainbow Nights. If it wasn’t for the whole NS imagery thing, I think they’d be a lot bigger than they currently are.
