Always wanted to see a story where an evil cult summons an elder god (despite the heroes attempts to prevent it) and after the high priest goes through the usual "You shall smite this world" rant, the elder god looks at the cultists and asks "Why?"

The Vile One actually isn't sleepy, 1000 years is actually a sufficient amount of sleep for them. They're just making up excuses to not destroy the world because they really don't see any good reason to do so.
