Very well put together. Loving the different zones. What square footage is it? We just moved to a 400 square foot Condo and still trying to figure out the best layout. 🤗
Your apartment is very nice and you did a great job during the presentation. You're a good storyteller, Grant;your vocal pitch was perfect and you didn't have repeat yourself.
It’s a great apartment. If you’re looking for more counter space. I think you could fit a narrow island in your space, if you move your living room 1 foot closer t the bed. There many islands you can buy from places like Wayfair. It would give you a place to put a couple stools and a place to eat that isn’t your sofa. Just a thought.
So gorgeous! You have great style....well put together.....👏👏👏.... THANK YOU 👈 for not telling us where EVERYTHING was bought from 🤷♀️🙄...this was literally a real TOUR and nothing else.....FINALLY 😂
Nice Apartment, I was thinking about visiting Seattle and Kind of feel the city out and it's neighborhoods.I thought about Capital Hill if I decide to move..
Hello Grant, I have a purchase suggestion for living in a studio apartment. Amazon sells a height adjustable folding table. The name of the brand is" Lifetime". It stores easily and it has an attached grab handle. All the best to you in Seattle and at Amazon corporate.
Love your apartment! If you don't mind me asking, what sort of ball park figure are you paying per month for a studio like this in Capital Hill? And does it include utilities or internet/WiFi? :) My husband is moving to Seattle next year so we are looking for a place for him to rent and doing some research. Thanks!
Thank you! For a studio in Capitol Hill, when I was looking a few months ago I was seeing prices ranging from $1400-$1950 depending on how nice the complex is. I do see signs on some streets claiming to have studios for $800-$900 but I have no idea what those are like inside. Mine does not include utilities, so you would have to factor that in on top of rent, plus parking which could be anywhere from $120-$300 from what I have seen
Hi Grant! I was just offered a job at Amazon and will be moving to Seattle. I am apartment searching right now and I have to move in a month from California. Do you have any advise? Your studio looks great!
Thank you! Congratulations on your job offer and for the upcoming move. If you are unable to get out to Seattle beforehand to visit places in person, my advise is to watch UA-cam videos on all the different areas of Seattle so you can get a good feel for what is unique about each one. If you plan to take public transport, definitely look for where the closest bus stop is relative to your apartment. There is a train station stop for the L-line in Capitol Hill, so if you plan on traveling a lot, it could be beneficial to live close to the station since it goes to and from the airport. If you are into any activities such as running or biking, you could look into places that are close to the Burke Gilman Trail, Washington Arboretum, Volunteer Park, or really anywhere that has easy access to the coastline. I also suggest taking vitamin-D pills since sunlight is limited in the winter, get a nice rain jacket, and don't let the weather stop you from doing things outside.
Hi grant , in previous video you talked about your experience being a AM . I have gotten an email encouraging me to apply for a AM position for recent graduates . Do AM have to lift heavy things and work in the warehouse . or are is your role to only manage other workers ?
Hi Chantel! That is a great question. The job posting should call out whether you are expected to lift heavy items as a basic task - if there is no specification of this on the posting, I encourage you to ask your recruiter, or to ask anyone that you interview with who will know an answer to that question which is specific to the type of facility you would potentially be working in.
Wow ! Your studio is absolutely gorgeous ! Love the decor & the view is beautiful !!

You should get a bed skirt and use under your bed for additional storage.

I wish I could have a job in seattle too. I mean anyone would like to work at a place where mountain meets the sea.
It is very gorgeous here, I have been loving it!
@@Grant0669 Inam preparing myself to work at Amazon Seattle. Started preparing DS Algo in a hard way
What are you paying per month for tbis studio apartment?
My goal was to pay at or less than $2000/month for rent, parking, and utilities combined and I am right around that
