never played this game in my life but I heard this song the other day and was actually moved by it's beauty. One song.... one song makes me want to play a game that I know nothing about
+Man Kev I think there was a steam sale going on, it was -50 % off, seriously man, get it, it's so wonderful, I bought it yestersday and played till 5 am.
Piglet Bacon Omg I just watched the trailer for it after reading your comment and it looks lovely! I love beautiful looking games with beautiful music, so this is one of them? Is the gameplay like Rayman, it looked like that? Rayman is an excellent game, super fun to play and in addition it has good music and beautiful graphics. Do you know the game Unravel? I have to try this Ori game, I haven't played yet so I can't really compare these, but I recommend you to check out its trailer! It's the most beautiful game I've ever seen with beautiful music. It has been made with love, truly. I cried when I finished the first level. It's not a sad game but it just touched me how beautiful it was :) Spent many great hours with it and it was more than worth 8€!
Yeah Ori also has a very fun playstyle aside from the beautiful environment and music, the game is very addicting i recommend it alot, will check out unravel :)
Same, I have played both games, when I went back and played Ori and the Blind Forest, I started crying the moment I saw Ori... This is not a game, it's the most beautiful art I have ever seen...
This song reminds me exactly of what it feels like to experience something for the first time. The raw emotion and the innocence of trying or doing something the first time and the realization of, "How did I ever go without this?" Human emotion is one of the most fascinating and intriguing qualities of us as entities, and this song is just a small snippet of that beauty.
This game moves people's minds a lot, making them think "how would someone do such a beautiful thing?" It moves a lot with the emotional and the feelings of a person, making you incorporate in the Ori and live that history ... In short, it is a very beautiful thing ; )
Haedox Very, very close. But sadly I must give mine to Dying Light. Don't get me wrong Ori & The Blind Forest is one of the best platformers I've played in a long time, and one of the most touching games. But I have yet to stop playing Dying Light (Got it on release).
Can someone explain to me why I cry so much every time I watch and listen to this.? I feel like my soul is broken and all I ever wanted to feel, is this warmth that Ori feels inside the hug of Naru
Fucking beautiful game. The artwork, scenery, game design, effects and visuals sent shivers down my spine. How can a game be so beautiful? So ethereal. I loved everything about it.
i was really looking forward to an Extended version , not a Looped version , some of the Soundtracks really need to be Extended , especially this one ^^
because if he did stay at the tree, nobody will be able to experience Ori's journey to save the Blinded Forest. . Moreover, there will be no tears because Kuro won't be the "antagonist" in the first place, and Naru won't even know Ori. So I'm just glad the Spirit Tree lost Ori to the Great Storm :')
My goodness, what a song.. what a game.. Recently finished this game, and now this song honestly moves me to tears. An unforgettable experience, this game was. Truly a masterpiece. And the music! Wow, it's soul-stirring.
Finished the games two months ago after remembering that I tried them as a 4th grader. I loved it more than words can describe, even used the music in a thesis for school. These games mark the best year of Mt life so far.
Aaaand another game that caught me because of its soundtrack (Trine 2 being the first). To whoever owns the rights of the Ori soundtrack: please dont block your music on UA-cam/Twitch, it really can get you additional customers like me, who fall in love with your beatiful piece of art.
Who's here in the 2020 pandemic looking for the light and hope for better days? What a time we live in. This song gives me the FEELS! Like Ori in the storm, we will find our way .... not all those who wander are lost (JRR Tolkien reference).
Before 7 years this music is the beautifulest soundtrack, now too. I listen this music every night and its make me cry. Sad but beautiful. (Sorry, my english is bad)
Its my first time hearing about this game, never played it before but the soundtrack is very powerful and beautiful. The emotion of the music is really amazing to feel. Especially this song. It makes me feel like ur actually in the story, and it tells something to a new adventure. I love it so much. I hope to play the game soon!! ^-^
There are two tracks that can give me chills everytime I listen to them. Not once do I NOT get chills. Toad Story from Rayman Legends, and this, are those songs.
The only one, I said the only one, the only game in my whole life that could make me cry, the soundtrack of this game was made by God, because such a perfect thing could never be made by humans, every pixel of that game is a work of Da Vinci, because as I said before, it is something that no human being could do, it is such a perfect thing, but so perfect, that my room has become a room of fanarts, every day I make a new one, ORI AND THE BLIND FOREST is the best game in the WORLD !!!
makes sad and emotinal as other sounds it let me think of my lovley dad and hope to see all my love ones again think too when iam gone to stay on the titanic or other places i love no fear about death
I just have to wonder now what ori would look like and feel like on a ps4. I have an Xbox one, pc, and ps4 (playing it on pc) but have to consider what it would look like on a few different systems. Either way I am hyped as heck for when ori and the will of the wisp comes out later this year!
It's a Metroid/Castlevania-style platformer with very precise controls, creative puzzles, amazing graphics and sounds and with cute, emotional story. Ori is a guardian spirit of the Forest of Nibel and needs to save it from destruction. tIt's probably the best platformer I've ever played. Reviewers often complain about high difficulty, especially during escape segments, but that may not necessarily be a flaw. Look it up.
The thing about the difficulty is that it's very forgiving. Yes, you die a lot, but you can place checkpoints practically anywhere, and you die and respawn so quickly that it doesn't interrupt the flow very much. P.S. The genre is called Metroidvania.
Even tho the difficulty is unforgiving the soundtrack soothes you into moving further and further bit by bit you get better non the less i felt no rage about this game could say for the rest but its just me
Hey guys, you know the nice little harp soundtrack which plays after this bit, when you get to move Manu? If you guys were searching for it like I did but couldn't find it, I've finally recorded it via the game and made it into an extension of 'Ori, Lost In The Storm' ^^ Check it out if you guys were finding it!
I mean, besides this song there is the entire Ori and the Blind Forest, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps soundtrack, but besides that... I cant really think of anything
+Melonman78 No, usually extended versions are longer versions of the same some not repeated... For instance some game soundtracks have a shorter version of the song then what you hear in-game. Usually to make looping the track easier and less noticeable.
never played this game in my life but I heard this song the other day and was actually moved by it's beauty. One song.... one song makes me want to play a game that I know nothing about

I had the exact same thing, playing it in a few minutes, really curious.
IKR me too, its so beautiful
My friend got me into it a couple months ago
I have her to thank for introducing me to this glorious game >w
Literally the only reason I played this game was after hearing this OST in an anime music compilation.
this soundtrack cures cancer
Yes ^^
I'd listen to it if I were fighting cancer.
True. This world needs more of this awesomeness. ^^
Ive got cancer right now so i hope this song kicks in!
NHU LOL
"We shall always remember the night... when I lost Ori to the Great Storm..."
"When Naru embraced my light..."
"As a child of her own."
"lol"
This is even sadder now after the ending of Ori and the Will of the Wisps
@Zerebrat Eightyseven no, its tragic because Ori never came back after it was lost
I seriously cried during the intro to the game, most beautiful game i've ever played!
Piglet Bacon Omg I just watched the trailer for it after reading your comment and it looks lovely! I love beautiful looking games with beautiful music, so this is one of them? Oh no I can't get Ori on ps4?? :'( Daamn I read some reviews and it sounded similar to Unravel and I've been trying to find games like it :/ Sigh.
Yeah Ori also has a very fun playstyle aside from the beautiful environment and music, the game is very addicting i recommend it alot, will check out unravel :)
Same, I have played both games, when I went back and played Ori and the Blind Forest, I started crying the moment I saw Ori...

Nothing has ever moved me, as much what u just said. And every word of it is true!
Goddamn, I love this song so much. It's so moving. Ori and the Blind Forest is easily my GOTY. I don't care about any other game. Ori is all I need.
Haedox Search for Okami :D
Ricardo Cardoso Trust me, I love Okami, but this is amazing
Haedox I respect your opinion :D.
Ricardo Cardoso

I got shivers all over my body when i first heard this track and the game is really epic ! ;) Thx for posting this
+LOTR Tales Same Here BRO
I still remember the shivers to this day. I can't believe it was already so many years ago.
Can someone explain to me why I cry so much every time I watch and listen to this.? I feel like my soul is broken and all I ever wanted to feel, is this warmth that Ori feels inside the hug of Naru
Best sound of all soundtrack
+Mazinho Vieira I tell you hwat!
It's extraordinary how just a couple tones can make somebody feel so much.
Ditto. I hate "extended" songs, which are just right click --> loop. :(
Agreed
Gosh, even the music makes me cry... So, so beautiful...
One of the best soundtracks to ever exist in a game
Indeed! Goosebumps
Gives me chills, every, damn, time. Ori why couldn't you stay at the Tree :'(
Such a sad but powerful song...
because if he did stay at the tree, nobody will be able to experience Ori's journey to save the Blinded Forest.
.

@@plaidhatter1674 you used the music in a thesis? How??? Haha that is pretty darn sweet.
That first build up is amazing.
Im here, 5 years later after it's release, obsessed woth the damn game on nintendo switch. Yippe!
One big storm start one even bigger adventure. Adventure what touched many hearts :)
Aaaand another game that caught me because of its soundtrack (Trine 2 being the first).
To whoever owns the rights of the Ori soundtrack: please dont block your music on UA-cam/Twitch, it really can get you additional customers like me, who fall in love with your beatiful piece of art.
my neighboors loved this song so much they invited the police to listen to it ^-^
Mine did too :D
They overheard it from a mile away and decided to pay me a visit!
made my day XD ty for that
Who's here in the 2020 pandemic looking for the light and hope for better days? What a time we live in. This song gives me the FEELS! Like Ori in the storm, we will find our way .... not all those who wander are lost (JRR Tolkien reference).
I remember watching the trailer to this on my xbox 360 back in the day and cried on how beautiful it is.
Still brings a tear to my eye
Cette musique est juste superbe
Mélodie D. Shira Oui...
+Mélodie D. Shira C'est magnifique
When you've been learning French so you understand the comments but you're not fluent enough to type yours in French....🙃😢
J'en ai des frissons à chaque fois
+Shy ;)
I looped this song to make it play for 24 hours and never got bored. ultimate OST in modern games
Huge respect for whoever created this soundtrack 😭
Gareth Coker is the composer of the ori soundtrack
....my ears feels so good!.....This is the most beutiful song ever...;-;
Nothing like family and friends.
Hearing the same melody at the end of The will of the wisps completely broke me
This song is sooooo beautiful! 💙
One word to describe this soundtrack would be adventure.
Beauty*
@@AgentSilv nah adventure
Hearing a leitmotif of this in the end of WotW gave me chills
Before 7 years this music is the beautifulest soundtrack, now too. I listen this music every night and its make me cry. Sad but beautiful. (Sorry, my english is bad)

I love this music
Parts of this give off strong Road to Perdition vibes, in the best way
Great music
wonderful music
When I first played this game with my sisters who I share my channel with we all cried even though we didn't post the video on UA-cam
There are two tracks that can give me chills everytime I listen to them. Not once do I NOT get chills.

This game... simply magical
When I think of Spirit of the North, I think of this song in my head, both games are amazing in their own right.

Is it awesome !!
Since hearing this song on my Pandora, I am now 40% through the game
this game has a better soundtrack than zelda.. and that's hard to provide
22 people liked this so much they decided to turn upside down and like it again.
Best song ever is bad that is sooo short
I just have to wonder now what ori would look like and feel like on a ps4. I have an Xbox one, pc, and ps4 (playing it on pc) but have to consider what it would look like on a few different systems. Either way I am hyped as heck for when ori and the will of the wisp comes out later this year!
Is there any other soundtracks that mimic this beauty?
Very good
The only problem of this is that it is short.
unbind thine-self from your earthly tether, fly free with me, enter the void, and become one with the sky.
The beginning, just the beginning
I just stumbled across this on accident and it sounds AMAZING. Can someone tell me what Ori and the Blind Forest is about??
It's a Metroid/Castlevania-style platformer with very precise controls, creative puzzles, amazing graphics and sounds and with cute, emotional story. Rohel Miah I'm very familiar with the skyrim soundtrack but I'll check out his other stuff thanks :)
try the Abzu soundtrack! (can be found on Spotify)

+imm0rtal one rapper named kianush has remasterd this soundtrack and maked a song on this beat you can search it
Kianush - Hütte im Wald
LoopTV das wollte ich auch grad schreiben hahah
I want an Ori plushy or some kind of toy. Do they have those in stores?
+Faith Frost / Jackie Branch Yes they do, I'm not sure where to find one but they sell them online I believe.
+Austin Minter Dang it. My mom doesn't let me buy things online. They better be in stores, too

OMG i was searching for that one! and i found it...!......finally!! i was not know the name ahhaahahah
anyone know what its called when someone sings like this?
+Robin Gramlich I think it's called "celtic vocal"
beautiful
***** It sounds similar.
Tfw you think extended means that you play the song 10 times and call it a day.
The beginning reminds me of a song from for a horizon 4 but I can’t remember the name of it
Anyone know any music that sounds similar to this? This shits so gas and i cant find anything similar
I mean, besides this song there is the entire Ori and the Blind Forest, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps soundtrack, but besides that... I cant really think of anything
i love this game it gave me the INSTANT FEELSAnd I made an oc!#Nemira#Oriandtheblindforestforlife

anyone knows real extended version instead just loop version? :/
this game look even better in Anaglyph 3D :P
Lub Ricator even better with nvidia 3D vision, although it needs a hack for it to work
0:19
"Extended"
Lol right? More like looped
the first song sounds like Assassins Creed :P
Xchasemoney sent me here lol
This screams TOMB RAIDER
GÄNSEHAUT *__*
Don't fucking call it "extended" if it's the same song repeating over and over for 10 minutes.
Rageuse
***** Thats what exactly what it means to extending a song ya dip.
Is it really that big of a deal?
+Ryu Ryoshi Don't call it a sentence if it's just going to be a bunch of words strung together with a period at the end.
+Melonman78 No, usually extended versions are longer versions of the same some not repeated... For instance some game soundtracks have a shorter version of the song then what you hear in-game. Usually to make looping the track easier and less noticeable.
