That was indeed a lovely area. I can see why you want to go back and see more. I do think these old industrial valleys that have reverted to nature have something special to offer.

Fabulous as always and you certainly deserved that pint at the end! Always great to discover new walks and the Sitwell family you mentioned have connections with Scarborough. Their former mansion there was once a museum and is now an art gallery I believe!

Lovely video Patrick. And the music was really good. You could use that a few times over and I wouldn't get bored. Makes you wonder how you keep creating the music ideas that are original to you and us. ? They do say music is a gift. Maybe the tunes are a gift from above. From God

A very pleasant piece of instrumental music and lovely soothing guitar melody line. It must be nice for you to explore somewhere unfamiliar but not far from home. We walked a Ridgeway but down in the Chilterns Buckinghamshire way, so there's more than one Ridgeway. Good job that Ford you walked not too deep!

Hi Patrick. I've never walked that area either (a bit of a schlep to get to for me) but it looks really nice. Landscape reminds me a little of around Bakewell, but I guess that's not too far away! Escaped the worst of the rain and a pint of Thwaites too...always a bonus!👍😊
Hi Des, yes it's on the far side of Derbyshire from your neck of the woods, but it's a very pleasant area that I was not too familiar with myself. That Thwaites at the Bridge Inn at Ford was ok and finished the walk nicely, but I must admit I had better since then! 😊 Thanks Des for watching 👍

Thanks Mark. Yes it was great to film a rarely visited part of Derbyshire. Plumbley's great isn't it? Always wonder where some of these names originate. Some far reaching views indeed, a pretty area in a lesser known part of the county. No church expect the one in Ridgeway, in which I was unable to enter again sadly. Patrick, morning toughest time for walk, how much for that bitter,in Chicago $8 ! I miss the 3 pd pint of Guinness at weatherspoon, the countless local brewery put out some nice brews, did you ever have a joules ? 5:23
I was glad I got out for this walk Steven, must have had a boost of energy in my breakfast. I enjoy the local ale where I can get it. About £4 at the cheapest where I live now 👍
