Lots of people have been asking for this video, because they were curious on how to one-cycle the dragon. This is a video explaining the timing as well as showing how one cycling works. You will need more beds than normal.
4 beds - Perfect
5 beds - Legendary

I think people still kill dragon with 4 to 5 beds idk I am bedrock player we use only 3 beds

I just tried that for the first time. Took an hour, several deaths, in the end I had to punch him dead cause all my shit got lost.
There is so much stuff that can go wrong.
what always happens is the ender dragon either kills me before or while I'm at the position to place the beds, or it's too close to the pillar so I can't place the beds, and I end up making my hand bleed from slamming it on my desk.
you find out how to place the beds while the dragons there?
Heck the batteries on your smoke detector my dude.
How to kill a dragon:
-Find some sheep
-Make some wools
-Build beds
-Sleep

Excellent tutorial, thanks. One question: you said to make sure to place the bed parallel to the dragon's flight path, but if the dragon chooses the diagonal path, are you just SOL to 1-cycle it that way?
If it's diagonal, it's basically your choice which way to stand

either your hits are too early, too late, or you started one cycling when the dragon was too low. My latest video (How to have faster end fights) has a good explanation

I know this is kind of random. But how do you make those cartoon-ish thumbnails in your speedrunning guide series. Looks very cool, I want to learn how to do that.
I just draw them ;) I use a free art software called krita. You should check it out!

easiest but most effective way: 1 obsidian and 5 beds
first, place a obsidian block on the horizontal of the bedrock and wait for the dragon to perch
when he perches
jump, put the bed and explode
the fact that you are behind obsidian the explosion damage is anulated

When i press f3+b to show the dragon's head hitbox, it only shows a white prism around the dragon but not the green prisms around its head

It’s a overlay on obs or their recording software. Just look up speed run watch on google and it should be a download.

Hey man not sure why but my dragon hitbox is broken and appears like 50 blocks above the dragon. Do you happend to know how to Fix IT?
Its a weird 1.15 glitch. Try using version 1.14.4 or 1.16.1
@@DKENyoutube i actualy did, even tried lunar and badlion still the same. I learned how to do a 6 bed without hitboxes but still its kinda annoying

Who needs fully enchanted diamond gears. You can easily defeat the ender dragon using a fooking bed. That is the quickest way to do it folks.

While it looks strange, its actually possible. At least for 1.14+
I've been using the obsidian on the corner so i dont have to jump.. but for some reason when I do it in an actual run it seems like I set it up on the wrong side and his head swing by much faster then in practice. Anyone have advise on what side of the pillar i should be placing the obsidian?

As of now, you can't disable explosion particles in speedruns. If you want to disable them just for practice, download optifine for 1.16.4. Another note: optifine is also banned for 1.16 for speedruns

I think this kind of bed placement only works in Java Edition, and mobile is on Bedrock Edition
