I hope this merger is stopped!!
When has a monopoly ever resulted in lower prices?
Never has. Prices doubled on some items after Albertsons bought Safeway, and their "deals" are less value than before.
And these two grocery store are already more expensive than others
Standard oil, us steel etc. but that has nothing to do with this merger. If you think that two medium size stores merging is a "Monopoly" you've got to wake up.
@@matteow101 Sure thing, boot🥾licker👅
Pretty soon just 1 company for everything across the board.
And prices far worse than now.
True
Yeah they're called Black Rock
The worst part of the merger is the elimination of QFC, arguably the best grocery in the PNW.
I heard that here in California they’d probably get rid of food 4 less too. I hope not : (
Aren't most QFCs unionized? It might sound kinda conspiracy theory-esque, but Albertsons and Kroger wouldn't be trying to force this merger through just to shut down or sell off other stores where workers are starting to organize, would they?
After an anti American complained about pro America goods during the 4th of July a couple years ago. Had to see it for myself as I was a Kroger shopper. Them took down goods and displays. Except for this little tiny 2 sqft x 2 sqft. With tiny little American flags and a few red white and blue glow sticks. Never been back since. In short Kroger is anti American. 🎵 You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything 🎵
Looking good as usual, Blair!
Kroger is evil af. Just got caught gauging prices. Already started shopping at Meijer.
no more merging
diminish competition . Their prices will go up bc they don't care ...certainly not paying workers more per hour .
