I believe you have a genius for organization, Andrea! As you were buying the clothing for the children, I thought of the verse, "...Her family has warm clothing..."( Prov. 31:10) I never tire of your shopping videos! It's so heartwarming to see your enthusiastic welcome home by all the kids (and Tom)! You are well loved and cherished.
Words can't express how much I enjoy your family and so impressed at how organized and talented you are in running a household of 10..Thank you Andrea and your beautiful family for sharing your lives with us:)
Absolutely love watching your shopping videos as I cook dinner and clean my kitchen. It's so relaxing and gives me motivation on our family grocery shopping ❤
Wow....what a busy, busy day!! You accomplished so much, I'm sure you were pleased to have all the clothes bought, organised and put away. It was lot to take on in one day, particularly as it was a food shopping day too. But you aced it as usual. l wish l had a quarter of your energy! Some super, pretty, bargain clothes for you and girls too, love the grey fabrics you picked up for yourself. I had to smile, we like Tom's choice of ice-cream, a midnight drive with sweet treats too, sounds good fun to me! My heart was warmed at the wonderful welcome you got from everyone when you got back from shopping! Lovely to see you all, it's my treat to myself on a Saturday. xxxx
hi andrea, just thought when I saw you buy little debbie cakes that is where my brother is a manager. if you look on the back of the box it tells you their plant is in collegedale Tennessee.
I'm praying for you guys.Wish I could do more but I watch this and see what a great mama you have. Can't help but think these videos will be a blessing.
I really enjoyed this video! A little bit of everything!! I liked how you showed us your orders on the computer instead of the paper printout, that was a great idea. The glimpse of your every day life and the kiddos, they listen so well! Bless you and your family.
shocker @ 34:32 Tom perusing the ice cream isle 😂, I laughed so hard remembering the "lost ice cream" startled my hubby 😊....off we go to Walmart for Ice Cream @11PM here. Thank you for the great videos.
We wouldn't have had to go at all if I hadn't forgot the sack full of stuff earlier. Tom figured he might as well get some ice cream as long as we were already there! :)
Andrea, thank you so very much for making these videos. I know you are touching so many lives. I am constantly amazed at the ingenuity of your ideas. You are definitely helping me to think of things differently and try to do better
WOW the dresses you made for your girls were so beautiful. I wish i could have seen you make them so i could learn how to make dresses. You were such a very smart creative young lady. Im truly blessed to be able to watch your videos and try and learn things even thought your gone way to soon. May you R.I.H. sweet sweet Andrea. Love your family.
I always enjoy your videos. Your organizational skills inspire me as a mom of 13. We implemented color coordination in our home, and it has REALLY saved me in the laundry department! So, thank you! :-)
Have you ever read the books put out by Amy Dacyzen (I'm probably spelling it wrong) - it sounds like decision. Anyway, she was awesome at being frugal and organized. I'm sure you could get her book at the library. I used to get her newsletters back in the early 80s. But, most of her stuff would still be relevant today.
🤩WOW...WHAT AN INCREDIBLY GOD GIFTED TALENT!!!💝 I miss the days of shopping like she does for my family...I was blessed with a small independent bunch of kiddos and watching these little brings back some beautiful memories of my olden days and makes my heart flutter and skip a beat every video I watch...😊
I love the way you and Tom interact with each other! Sweet romance! And I had to laugh at when you were in Walmart together the camera was on Toms behind. Lol
I really like how instead of printing out your Wal-Mart and Amazon orders, like you have done previously, you just showed directly from the website. Also, amazing video, as always.
I worked at Ohio Walmart and k mart. We always gave the price.... even if it didn't ring up that price...and an employee verified yes shirts on $2 rack. We had to give it to the customer that price. Heck our grocery Kroger does that too
At the end of the video as you're walking out of Walmart I see all those plastic bags at the register. How I miss those. California passed a bill banning plastic bags and now we have to bring our own or pay 10 cents per bag for a reusable one. I ALWAYS forget my bags so I end up buying some. One day I'll remember............one day!
Love how organized you are. Must be a breeze to get everything done without the kids lol I have 2 under 4 and I always leave the store missing something on my list or end up getting things we don't need lol
Fun to watch these old video again! Found my comment from 3 years ago. Tom do you still go to the book store with the kids d9 they still earn books? That would be fun to see a trip to the bookstore and what books kids pick up!
As a nanny, I manage several households... the busiest is the house of 4 princesses Triplets age 7 and their older sister age 9. I respect how hard you work and your organizational skills.
the bell at the checkout! we go to a fairly rural Walmart, but I've never seen it that empty. I have no idea why, but I love your shopping videos, thank you.
I am so sad andrea is gone.. loved chatting with her and getting advice and tips.. i buy my kids simular clothes and it helps a lot but we dont wear matching colours but we do have same number of each item and my boys onlY wear polo shirts and jeans
I just came across some of your videos and I'm intrigued.I admire you and all your efforts on maintaining a organized yet cozy life style for your children, I have Only two boy's ages 6 years and 10 years and at times struggle with keeping things organized all the time. I applaud you for sure girl!! I watched the boy's room video first and what a great idea of taking a small space and making it so very useful!! FYI: I suggest lots and lots of coupon's trust me they are my life saver and all those items you buy in bulk can at times be free with coupon use. I'm sure you got this down pat though by the way it looks lol!! Good Luck :)
I'm not sure if you use reusable bags at the grocery store and just not Walmart but you should consider it. You can probably make your own and it'll help out the environment! They're also MUCH sturdier(I think I spelled that wrong but 🤷🏻♀️) and they're easier to carry. Just a suggestion
I do have reusable bags that I made myself. I gave up on them because they're a big hassle at the store when we have a lot of purchases and, frankly, there's not much difference between plastic vs. paper vs. reusable so I do what is convenient for us. www.wired.com/2016/06/banning-plastic-bags-great-world-right-not-fast/
So I have to know... did you ask Walmart to honor the $2.00 price on those shirts? Multiple shelves were clearly marked at $2.00 I was annoyed FOR you when you said that they didn't ring up at that price! lol I know it isn't much of a difference... but it's the principal of the matter!
I didn't notice until I was working on the video and looked at my receipt. We had to go back that night because I had left a bag behind and we would've asked them to refund it then, but I hadn't looked at the receipt yet. Tom says he might take in the receipt next time he's in town there.
I feel better then... so thanks for the reply. lol You work so hard to stretch your dollars.. I hated to see you lose that savings! LOL Your love for God and Family are apparent in your videos, and Your organizational skills are impressive... so God Bless from Kentucky! :)
Yea by law they have to honor the price on their item I think. It's so businesses don't list one price and charge another, which is defrauding. I one time got a jacket from LL Bean for $11 that was supposed to be $110 because someone made a mistake when tagging. They had to honor it.
Yeah, that bothered me too! I was thinking for $2, "buy all the shirts!", but then bummer that it didn't ring up that way. Unfortunately straightening things out at my Walmart is not even worth the extra headache it causes. One of the many reasons I have a love/hate for Walmart.
I was visiting with the lady that works in the baby department that day (she's worked there for years and we always chat when we run into each other.) She said that for two days they'd been marking down thousands of items and she was exhausted. I'm sure it was probably just an error they hadn't caught yet.
Andrea I enjoy watching all your videos ❤️ You have a beautiful family and the ending when you and Tom went to grab some ice cream was the cutest lol ☺️☺️☺️
We only went back to retrieve the bag I accidentally left at the store on my earlier trip, but Tom figured we might as well pick up some ice cream while we were there. :)
Hey I just wanted to mention I noticed that the light bulbs you got for Justus's bed said they were for wax warmers. I don't know if they get super hot to warm the wax but might want to make sure it isn't a fire hazard.
Mom of 5, 4 at home, two big ones, two little ones, and I'm struggling to come up with a way to be organized. My biggest issues are lack of storage and too much clutter. I like your idea of dressing the kids simple and in similar things, makes shopping super easy I can tell. For socks how do you keep them all sorted? My kids are pretty much paired off by age, so sizes are pretty similar when it comes to socks. I've finally settled on stitching their initials in the heel of the sock, that way I can tell whose sock is whose. I tried writing it in permanent marker, but that faded in the wash. You shop like we do, once monthly for all the groceries that we need. Although TBH we may end up back at the grocery store for other odds and ends later in the month as we go, or when we decide to have something for dinner that we didn't shop for already. Mostly, we get the staple items that we always know we'll use at some point, esp for the kids, the stuff they they can fix for themselves, like ramen, sandwich stuff, cereal, etc. Maybe not the healthiest diet, but it gets the job done. Walmart is definitely the main store we shop for groceries, but sometimes if we can go to a bulk item store or meat market, we'll do that too. I have to say, your budget for shopping made my jaw drop! If I ever spend that much in Walmart at one time, someone better put me in an asylum.
I was waiting for this month's shopping video. I don't know why I find it so enjoyable. Don't watch any other shopping videos. Maybe because we know the kids now. Thanks for showing the bringing in of the goods. Also liked the putting away of the new clothes into their bins. I don't think Solomon quite wants to be a big boy yet.
He took his bin back to the girls' room and it took some coaxing to get it down to the boys' room. Both mornings since then, though, he's been quite proud to appear in the morning all dressed and ready for the day.
i take a picture of tags at Walmart if it's price is different than the other items around it i bought 3 pairs of jeans for my self this fall that were only $3.00 they were with the regular priced jeans but the tags were real old style of White Stag so i got $13.00 off of each pair.
I find it really funny that every video someone asks about your girls in dresses. As a little girl my mum always had me in trousers for convenience and as soon as I had a choice I completely changed to dresses because I personally like the femininity. Ultimately mums make choices based on a whole range of things until kids grow up then the kids will take some stuff and leave other stuff! I love a lot of the things you do with your family, keep in keeping on!!
I just got a nice letter in the mail today that I think must have been from you (unless there are two Lisa Lovatts that watch my videos.) Thank you for taking the time to send the encouragement. I hope you are able to expand your family however God wills!
Hi Andrea, I was wondering if you'd be willing to share your clothing inventory spreadsheet? How did you determine how many of each clothing item your kids needed? Thank you!
I try to keep our clothes to a minimum since we don't have a lot of closet space. I think about our clothes sort of like I would if we were packing for a trip. What activities are we doing and what clothes will we need? I've shared a printable version of my chart on my blog. The first two pages are blank so you can fill them in for your needs. The second two pages are filled in like I use it so you can see how we do it. www.andreamills.tv/organization
ugh. my grocery budget for just my husband and I is $1000 per month and I still go over every month ;( No, that's not including restaurants...I'm not sure how you do it.
It was so funny when you picked up that bright pink spatula. I was like, ooohhh, I have one just like it. And then you put it down. I use mine usually for iced tea 🌺. I loved coming along with you as always, Andrea 😸
I know, it's so colorful!! And the little tongs with the hands on them ✋️🤚😹. I have a couple of enameled dutch ovens and the copper skillet that suggests using the silicone cooking utensils. So now I have a big mouth canning jar with all of these pretty colorful utensils in my kitchen. LOL!! I never bought the little hand tongs, a fork is perfect. 😺
Fun video! Re the polo shirts- I find if you machine dry them, they shrink but if you line dry them they go hard and need ironed. What do you do? Ruth x
We machine dry everything. (We don't have a clothes line.) I like it when I can get the George brand at Walmart rather than Faded Glory because the collars seem to stay nicer on the George shirts and they're only $1 more.
Tom asked me why I'm not embarrassed for people to see how many tabs were open. :) He hates it when I have a computer problem and he wants to restart my computer because it takes me 15 minutes to get everything saved and closed. I never get to sit long at my computer and if I close things I'll forget all about them. Out of sight, out of mind!
Exactly! I manage several community facebook pages so I open all kinds of tabs to d/l photos to share on them. I suppose I could write down what page it is and go back but why do that when the page is right there and I can simply leave a tab open? hehehehe I will admit, sometimes it takes me a couple days to get around to it though.
Deriving ideas (and sweetness) from you. Are the biscuits you purchase just that (as a side), or do you make them a meal of some sort with them as an ingredient? Thanks again for sharing your life with us 😊💖
Distilled water is the steam collected from boiling water rather than the boiled water itself. I'm sure there are distillers out there, but at $.88 a gallon I'd rather buy the water and use my time elsewhere. (I'm not sure why Tom likes it so much, but her really loves drinking it!)
Your shopping trips are oddly satisfying to me!! Do you ever consider getting the kiddos Nike or New Balance tennis shoes from Kohls or other department shoes, reason I ask is I find that I save money going through shoes buying a little more expensive shoes than the Walmart shoes. My kiddo would go through Walmart brand shoes way too fast. Love you guys!!!
I have, but it seemed like, while I got twice the wear out of them, they were twice the price. In the end, it all comes out even. We don't have any department stores nearby. I used to go to Payless or shop on-line, but I haven't done that for awhile. Walmart's convenient.
This isn't really a criticism, but I liked the old way you showed us the Amazon etc. order - especially for birthday things because you then explain why you bought them!! It's fun to hear what you have planned for the birthday activities.
I had thought I'd explain it while I did the screen shots, but it was so noisy in the house I couldn't do it. (The kids were doing chores and the vacuum was running and there was general mayhem.) Anyway, I liked to explain things, too, so I might try to be more on the ball next month and do the order the night before so it'll be quiet and I can talk about everything.
Your video makes me so happy and want to move out of the crazy bay area in CA where everything is about named brand and go, go, go... your sewing talent is amazing. Makes me want to have another baby, esp a girl but I just don't think we can afford it where we live. I'm looking forward to following your videos.
3 times in one day to wal mart ! Whoo hoo my kinda of day ! LOL I love your shopping trips. You got some cute little dresses on clearance and I love Eden's mermaid socks ! Xxxxx kiM
I know this video is old but i love your shopping videos, did you have to buy a lot of new clothes for this summer ? I love the great and white stripe fabric you bought, it matched the striped dresses. You should do a stripe color day :)
NACHO NATION I know she cuts the boys' hair and that gets rid of most of the haircuts and I'm not sure about her and her oldest daughter and the youngest two probably don't need many hair cuts or any at all
I believe you have a genius for organization, Andrea! This is the first video I saw from Andrea. So sad that she is not here with us anymore.
I found her vlogs by accident about 6 months before she passed away I love them been watching all the ones she made
I absolutely love how your entire family is so happy to see you return from a long shopping trip! You were missed!! ❤️
It's nice to be needed! I was only gone for 2.5 hours, but they missed me.
I will never understand how Andrea managed to always be so calm. Probably bc she was so organised :-). Such a beautiful mumma, and amazing woman.
rest peacefully Andrea ❤️
I wish I had your patience. It always soothes me hearing you talk!! Thanks for sharing.
So much love. I wished I had met you Andrea. You are missed beyond words. 🙏❤️
27:45 "Girls just have shoes, ok?" Haha, I loved that interaction with your son, Andrea! 😊
This video is so cute. I love how Andrea had all their clothes sorted and organized.
I love watching you shop for your big family, it makes me want to be more frugal with my four children's clothing.
My heart was warmed at the wonderful welcome you got from everyone when you got back from shopping! Lovely to see you all, it's my treat to myself on a Saturday. xxxx
Watching this in 2024 and continue to miss the calmness seen and felt in these videos. 🙏🙂
I love your family 💖 we need more mommas like you !
hi andrea, just thought when I saw you buy little debbie cakes that is where my brother is a manager. if you look on the back of the box it tells you their plant is in collegedale Tennessee.
The light blue dresses are super pretty! :)
your videos help me relax.thank you.
This is my first time seeing the kids and they are sooooo adorable !! 😩
I'm praying for you guys.Wish I could do more but I watch this and see what a great mama you have. Can't help but think these videos will be a blessing.
Missing this precious women every day.
I really enjoyed this video! A little bit of everything!! I liked how you showed us your orders on the computer instead of the paper printout, that was a great idea. The glimpse of your every day life and the kiddos, they listen so well! Bless you and your family.
This is so relaxing. It makes me so happy 😊. Can you make a video showing you putting away all of the groceries in the pantry!! 😃
Oh my gosh! When you got home from Walmart and they were all so happy to see you. It was the cutest thing.
The 'putting-away-the-groceries' music is a hoot!
shocker @ 34:32 Tom perusing the ice cream isle 😂, I laughed so hard remembering the "lost ice cream" startled my hubby 😊....off we go to Walmart for Ice Cream @11PM here. Thank you for the great videos.

So fun! The boys' haircuts look good!
I giggled so hard at Claudia's "Oh no!" at 29:00. That was precious. You are an amazing mom. :)
Love These types of videos and loving the new sort of artsy style!!

Hey I just wanted to mention I noticed that the light bulbs you got for Justus's bed said they were for wax warmers. I don't know if they get super hot to warm the wax but might want to make sure it isn't a fire hazard.
They were just a higher wattage than the other nightlight bulbs. (15W vs. 4 W) His little plug in lights can take that high of wattage.

it will be me. have loved it videos so far
Sorry the red polos didn't ring up $2!! That's a bummer!
I just realized your in WYOMING! Me too!!! I'm in Casper. :D YAY!
Your clothing organization is wonderful and clever! Well done!
Great idea color coding clothes with the marker
Oh Sophia!! Her face!! So so beautiful!!!
These “Shop with Me” videos are so great! I look forward to each one of them!
I was taking away when I saw your organized attic! impressive!
Thank you, that was extremely helpful!
you are really blessed by the Lord with a beautiful family.
Could you please do a fridge/freezer tour please? You seem to be so organized when putting up your refrigerator foods.
Jennifer Shumate I would like to see their fridge tour as well
I'm thinking next month might be a cooking theme and I'll try to do a refrigerator tour.
Ok can't wait. Thanks for replying
ugh. my grocery budget for just my husband and I is $1000 per month and I still go over every month ;( No, that's not including restaurants...I'm not sure how you do it.
It was so funny when you picked up that bright pink spatula. I was like, ooohhh, I have one just like it. And then you put it down. I use mine usually for iced tea 🌺.
I loved coming along with you as always, Andrea 😸
All that stuff was so cute I had to stop and look at it even though I didn't need any of it.
Ur vids help me calm down keep it up
I seen this one like ten times ,,love it
I have that little measuring cup and I love it.
Had to stop at 5 minutes to say- Hello, Sister of the incredible number of open tabshood! lol My son tells me I have too many open all the time!
Do you have a tutorial on how you make your shirts?

Deriving ideas (and sweetness) from you. Are the biscuits you purchase just that (as a side), or do you make them a meal of some sort with them as an ingredient? Thanks again for sharing your life with us 😊💖
Hi Andrea could you not save money boiling water and letting cool for Tom, as that is the same as distiled water just an idea.
Distilled water is the steam collected from boiling water rather than the boiled water itself. I'm sure there are distillers out there, but at $.88 a gallon I'd rather buy the water and use my time elsewhere. (I'm not sure why Tom likes it so much, but her really loves drinking it!)
Beautiful dresses for the girls
I have just found your channel and are watching you from Australia. I thoroughly enjoy your posts and love the girls dresses you made.
Walmart's convenient.
alot of really nice hair clips are at the dollar store summer toys alot house wears
Where are the colored bins from? Love them! Trying to organize my twins...can't imagine 8!
I got them from Oriental Trading Company.
wao! im impressed! beautiful family!
3 times in one day to wal mart ! Whoo hoo my kinda of day ! LOL
I love your shopping trips.
You should do a stripe color day :)
once my youngest gets to a year old, I'm going to start doing my kids clothes shopping like this and cut way back on our clothing
Can you do a video on how much haircuts cost?.. for your family? I'm really interested
NACHO NATION I know she cuts the boys' hair and that gets rid of most of the haircuts and I'm not sure about her and her oldest daughter and the youngest two probably don't need many hair cuts or any at all
I cut everyone's hair, including my own, so we don't spend any money on hair cuts other than the original cost of clippers and capes.
