  • Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Kayley Delay (of Brooks Beasts Track Club in Seattle), 1 mile road run race at the 2024 Yakima Mile in Yakima, Washington State, United States of America (time of 4 minutes and 21.76 seconds, I mistakenly say 21.26 in the video, in the elite classification womens final on Saturday 13 July 2024). With her time she achieved first place. I provide my take/perspective on her performance and contextualize it in terms of running a sub 4 minute and 24 seconds time on a straightaway flat road course.
