I'm new to crochet, I've been knitting for years (My grandma taught me at 6 yo a few decades ago), I bought this yarn to do just this. I've been crocheting for 2 minutes and a half and the result is beautiful and easy :) I have to say, I also chose your tutorial because of the name, made me think of my grandma I loved so much. Thank you Creative Grandma :)
I love your tutoral,, it was easy to understand. I was given "Stitch Soar Scrub" several skins. I plan on making scubs for my large family for Christmas. Thank you and God bless you.
I just made my first scrubbie following this video. I love that the projects are small and quick, and if I make a mistake it really doesn’t matter as long as it holds together! Love using scrubbies and now I love that I can make my own. I bought a 6-pack of sampler skeins in lovely colors and found that the little skeins make a scrubby each with a little leftover, wahoo.
I just got some of this yarn. It reminds me of the netting my friend used to use. I think she would have loved this yarn. Thank you for the video so I know how the yarn works up. I hope is easier than the regular scrubby yarn around.
I think I would prefer the lion brand. I saw one gal making some real nice scrubbies with a design like the one you used with the Lion brand. She was using rolls of tulle, which was a bit awkward to crochet with. They made great scrubbies though.
Hello Glenda, I am wanting to ask for written permission to use the patterns I bought so I can make them for our Church Bazaar. 1. Pattern # 549 Christmas Star Doily, 2. Pattern # 133Peppermint Twist Coaster & Dish Scrubber, 3 Pattern # Popcorn Floral Dish Scrubber did not have a pattern #, 4. Pattern # ??, Fun Textured Dish Scrubber, If you would could you write out the permission so I can display it at the Bazaar. I love your work and I lost your name of the company and tonight I just happened to fine you again. So happy I did. You are a great teacher, you have such a nice voice teaching your pupil the technique, I fine you very interesting and knowledgeable. Hope to hear from you soon. Happy Crocheting Blessings Ana,
I have scrubbers called scotch scrubber, it is rectangle. They are blue ones and green ones in stores. Can i fix a couple of rectangle crochet then set sit one of those in between and do single crochet all the way around. Will the scrubber tear the yarn quickly?
??? Glenda, how many scrubbies can I make with a skein of this yarn? Can I use this pattern with the Scrubology yarn, too? I love these cute little scrubbies! Thank you.
Is there an entry for this on Ravelry? I can’t seem to find it. And when I look up this yarn this pattern isn’t listed with under Pattern Ideas. I don’t crochet but I plan on trying with this pattern. I might be too ambitious in thinking that I can do it, but I’m going to try anyway. If it doesn’t work out I can just knit a scrubby instead. Thanks for the tutorial video. I definitely need it. Now I’m off to buy the pattern.
This pattern is actually super beginner friendly. It’s the yarn that makes it a bit more difficult. If you still can’t find it on ravelry, let me know! I can add the pattern and send it to you!
@@catmeow7761 Thanks! I searched for “Fun Textured Dish Scrubber” and I don’t see any results. I also checked out Glenda’s other patterns and it’s not listed among them. I was mistaken. I can’t find the pattern with the Scrubology Scrub It yarn on Ravelry either. I would appreciate if you added them both. I’d do it myself, but I don’t know how. Thank you very much!
I made some around Christmas (it’s now July) and gave some to my aunts and I’ve been using the same one since. It’s just starting to get random strings where it caught on a fork or something. I put it in the dishwasher and it never smells bad like sponges do. I am making some more now for myself and at the request of family who also love them. They’re sturdy and wash really well.
@@kristindoherty3719 thank you for answering. I have since made 2, and these are definitely worth the time. I am going to make a few smaller ones as well as different colored ones for cleaning the bathroom. So happy to save resources with this idea!

Just discovered this video tutorial. Making mine today. Very easy and great instructions.

Thank you for sharing. Do not know if I will try this yarn or not. May try the yarn bee scrub.ology instead. Thanks again, Glenda.
The scrubology is soooo nice to work with i have made many scrubbies with it
Easy last minute Christmas gift 🎁
@Telegran_CreativeGrandma this another scam

Hi, Glenda. Thanks for the tutorial. I'm wondering if that is too plasticky, or hard, to use on Teflon - type pots and pans. Will it scratch? Thanks

awesome 😍 thanks ✋
Advice- do not put any tension on this yarn. If you do it will roll and not lay flat!
I wish i could see how you started this project because im getting tripped up every time.
Anyone know how much one scrubbie is? Measurement wise
3:13 What is a double knot????
I make them on my addi express knitting machine I can't crochet that yarn it doesn't take to long on my machine
Do you have instructions or a channel that has instructions. I have a Sentro.
It does hurt my fingers when using this yarn!
I have to add a cotton yarn in a different color to scrubby yarn and it's easier to see.
@@dinahbarnes6335thank you
@@dinahbarnes6335 that's what I do too. It still hurts but helps a lot!
Thanks!
Thank You so much for your super thanks and your support of my channel. Your support is greatly appreciated.
??? Glenda, how many scrubbies can I make with a skein of this yarn? Can I use this pattern with the Scrubology yarn, too? I love these cute little scrubbies! Thank you.
I followed Glenda's tutorial and got 3 full scrubbies out of a skein with some left over.
@@gmdrp4eva That's great! Thank you.
Where do you get the shelving that you keep your yarn on?
Is it usefull in knitting machines
HI GLENDA, QUESTION HOW MANY OF THOSE SCRUBBIES THE WAY YOU MADE THEM DO YOU GET OUT OF ONE BALL OF STITCH SOAK SCRUB PLEASE
Glenda can you just put a number up please how many SCRUBBIES from one ball so I know how many I need to ord r? Thank you. 🙏💞
@@KimMesser514 I did not work up the entire ball to know exactly how many you can make out of a skein.
Thank you

I tried, but it’s not a easy project. The yarn is very difficult to crochet.
The Hobby Lobby Scrubology yarn a lot easier to work with. Red Heart has a scrub yarn, as well.
How many could i get out of 1 skein
About 3
Hi ☺️👋 i like the review 😁 but i don't have time to make scrubbies
Did i miss the giveaway you did in the video with your sister? Thank you 💖😊👋
I just wanna know where mine is so much smaller than hers 😅
Could be the amount of tension you’re putting on your yarn! Hee stitches are very loose. If you make tight stitches, your puff will be smaller!
Is this yarn hard on your hands. It Looks like it would be.
I did not feel like it was hard on my hands, it does feel like your crocheting with thin plastic
@@CreativeGrandma ok thanks
I cannot for the life of me do this. My hook keeps slipping out
How long do the scrubbies last? I have a Scrub Daddy and get about 3 weeks out of it before it starts falling apart.

3 row is very small like 3 1/4 inch 🫣
I added another round of increase.
I wish I could find these in small rectangle shapes to buy. I don't crochet and don't want to lol.
