Hi! I just found your channel and you’ve been a lot of fun watching movies with. Steve Martin is one of my fav actors and I really relate to both these characters. I had no idea that my life would turn out so much like Dale’s. Anyways hope you enjoyed the movie. It was a simple plot but funny, well acted and relatable.

John Candy was one of the best comedians to have ever graced our screen. Good ole Canadian boy. Steve Martin has always had white hair, so wasn't really that old in this movie

If you’re from Illinois, this movie will likely make your eyes roll. It’s only about a 5 hour drive from Lambert Field (St. Louis) to Chicago. You wouldn’t spend overnight on that jaunt. It’s funny every time I see this 😂

The first night, they didn’t have access to a rental car. They got in real late, once they got to St. Louis, they tried to get to Chicago using a car but it burned down.
Also, the man announcing at the airport was Ben Stien. he was in the Mask, Ferris Bueller's day off.
That’s crazy I’ve seen the Mask so many times but I don’t remember him in it.
@@cuethecommentary He is the psychologist who tells Jim Carrey that his mask is the Viking god of mischief. I can't remember the exact words, but it was something like that.
