Hi Michael, I've lived in UK for 15 years and I wish I had found your channel at that time. Your tutorials are really really good. Almost all the people that study English don't have (or get) a method to learn properly the pronunciation; same thing for foreigners living in UK. It's quite rare in fact to find some of them not only speaking well, but also pronouncing very well. This, as you correctly say, can cause you lack of confidence and a lot of small or great issues in daily contacts, at work, etc. Also in my case, I studied English at school but, when I moved to UK I realized that they had taught me the grammar rules, but not the right pronunciation of a lot of words. English grammar is easier than many other european languages but English has two many obstacles that makes not easy to master it : 1) The staggering number of words in the language 2) The same pronunciation (there are no fixed rules and many words have 'strange' and unexpected pronunciation). In this sense I think your channel can be unvaluable to anyone wanting to speak well this universal language.
Hi Alyia, I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it helped you too! It's great that the videos are helping you and others like you. I still have difficulties with my S and the TH... I don’t know why but I can’t pronounce them together whether it’s the s before Th or the s after it. Do you have any tips how I can’t fix that?
Asli, my number 1 tip is to get comfortable with the 'th' sound on it's own first. ONLY then, practice it with an s sound before or after... and when you do this, practice as slowly as you need to to be able to do it. You WILL get it with practice but it may just take time Cheers Michael

Sir, 1)Are the vowel letters and vowel sounds completely different things? 2) if yes, please tell me what the difference between the vowel letters and the vowel sounds is.3) The letter U is considered to be a Vowel letter but we can't find any vowel sound just like it's name in the chart of the vowel sounds. But sometimes we can hear our teachers telling that the letter U has the long vowel sound just like it's name. It's very confusing. Please help us in clearing the concept.
