- Rogue Add on Change Plates is a great way to add incremental weights to a dumbbell or kettlebell. The design is very simple, just twist and put on the handle making it convenient to use. Perfect when you aren't able to jump up in 5LB increments, the Rogue Add on Change Plates will make it easier to get stronger and rehab injuries by adding small increments of weight to your dumbbells and kettlebells.

I’ve had these for 2 or 3 years. I use them all the time and they have held up well.
Yeah, not gonna lie, I wasn’t sure if they would hold up as I’ve had mine for about 3 years but I was pleasantly surprised.
@@GoreckiFit agreed. Solid review!
Lol that lateral raise had “5 easy payments of $19.99” vibes😂 great look bro!
Lol yeah I had fun with that fail 😂
I brought 2 pairs of the full set in 2018. I used them on my kettle bells and dumbbell. As you mentioned they are pricey but glad I have them.
They are definitely nice to have!!
Love change plates! Progressive overload for the win
heck yeah, I think every home gym should have some!!
This was a great little invention!
Perfect for small spaces and loading incrementally.
Will these fit hex dumbbells and not slide down the handle? Why they don't have a pair of 2.5lbs? I only have dumbbells up by 10.
Unfortunately, if the handle is on the smaller side, they will slide down. I’ve tried them on my hex DBs and doesn’t matter whether it’s the 25s or 55s, they slide. MicroGainz is worth looking into, the clamping system will keep them from sliding on most dumbbells. Depends on size of handle and knurling. Check out my older video on them if you want to see, I tested them on a few DBs and gave examples.
These things are clutch! They are pricey, like you said, but much cheaper than buying more dumbbells.
I have some plate mate magnets for my Powerblocks for those in between weight increments and also to go up a little higher in total weight.
Yeah these are very pricey but the plate mate magnets work as long as the dumbbells aren’t urethane. I’ve tried the Bare Steel Micro Stacks too and they won’t stay in place.
@@GoreckiFit Yeah, I think you chose the best versions for your type of dumbbells. I don't know how well they work on powerblocks because of the caged design. Have you tried them on Powerblocks?
@@TheCarterHomeGym yeah they don’t work very well, I’ve owned these for 3 years but recently found MicroGainz which work for the PowerBlocks depending on size of hands. Someone with larger hands it won’t work though.
When are you going to review your new American Barbell dumbbells? Thinking about getting 5-75 myself. new subscriber here :)
Welcome to the channel and thanks for subscribing. The dumbbells are on my list just a bit further down while I work on my filming skills. I made some mistakes on a few videos early on and don’t want to mess up w bad lighting or not hitting all the key points. Any questions you have about them? Overall they are an amazing set, medium knurling which i like, visually better than Rogue/Rep, and very solid feeling. The edges are rounded so it doesn’t dig in your legs when resting and it’s bonded urethane. Pricey but in my opinion, they are worth it.
Do they work with your ironmasters? Thanks for the review
So with heavy handle kit, it’s a bit snug even with my small hands. The 1.5lbs and 1lbs when using both on the IMs, you have about 3 3/4” of handle length. About 4 inches of handle length when using the .5lbs. So it’s gonna be snug with heavy handle kit but it will work fine without it. Hope it helps!!
I wouldn’t of guessing it was a rubber design! Seems like a good product! Would you take these or the microgainz if you were to choose?
The only thing about MicroGainz that I would have liked to see was something to prevent the steel from having direct contact with my dumbbells. I feel like it can scratch my dumbbells if I dropped them on a lift. Otherwise I love them and think it’s all you need. I actually have owned these for over 3 years and used them a lot until MicroGainz but still use these on occasion for KB presses and throw them on the functional trainer too.
