    I like your peppermint oil instructions. Better then any other video. No one else cooked on the stove because that releases more of the mint. Thank you.

    For all those asking, peppermint is a type of mint. There are many varieties of mint. Make sure when you make this recipe, use the peppermint as she instructs.

      You're welcome. You can use natural preservative such as tea tree oil or Lavender oil. You can simply store it in the fridge

      FYI you can preserve the shelf life by dissolving potassium sorbate in water and then adding 2 teaspoons to the oil, just make sure you emulsify and blend it with the oil before adding the peppermint! You can purchase potassium sorbate at most beer and wine breweries.

    If the fresh mint is not available to you, one can also use Anveya peppermint essential oil .I used it , the results are very good.

    The method is incorrect. You cannot incorporate water from wet leaves into oil. First you have to dry leaves in a dehydrator or oven.

      I dry mine on towels and turn a fan on them. I just left mine drying overnight.

      @@ramaat2731 absolutely ‼️ The formula is anhydrous.Fungus and bacteria which cannot be seen with the naked eye waiting to happen. As a formulator these things should already be known.

      It can be contaminated with microorganism in the air and may reduce the shelf life. Strain and store immediately

    I did something similar but with mint . I left it ait for a few days and check on it periodically but it stinks.

      @@SimoneJoseph17 okay, it should be in an airtight container. You can add a preservative to it or simply heat the leaves and the oil using double boiling method so as to make the heated oil instead of the coldpress;

      Peppermint is an aromatic herb in the family of mint; I don't think there's a Nigerian name for it.
      One of the major components in peppermint is menthol, menthol is commonly found in our household products like toothpaste, hair cream, bathing soaps, air freshener, chewing gums, essential balms.etc
