- 14 year old young boy gives me an awesome shoe shine. He and his three other friends came all the way from Rajasthan to earn here in Delhi. They earn around ₹500-₹700 a day which is about $10. What amaze me is that they are very intelligent and smart kids ..they know everything about UA-cam stuff and even my camera resolution. I wonder what they will become if given proper education..He used to go to school but now he can only learn from tuition due to current pandemic.

Ted, I had a friend in Port of Spain Trinidad Who was of India descent. Started shining shoes at 6 years old because he found himself as the man of the house. He owned dozens of businesses by age 18, and eventually was a major shareholder of BWIE Airlines. (Which, incidentally, crumbled after his death.) When he passed away, without any family, he donated his mansion and money and goods to his church that he was a minister in, and we were not sad but we rejoiced that his life of sadness at having no family was over and he is now with a family bigger than anyone can imagine. Billions of family members.
