My fondest memories of Gundam Wing Endless Duel was playing it on netplay on Zsnes back in the early 2000s to have a friend of mine rage quit when losing. This is a heck of a game and deserves more love
If you hold y and b and down while in the air u can have a slow descent, tallguees falls the slowest and heavyarms the fastest, press y and b twice to boost two times
This game looks Great and thanks! was this released in the U.S for Snes? Never heard of some of these rare late releases.... gonna check out a repro! 👍
@@RetroDrew I know this video is 2 years old but I was wondering if you know if the knockoff U.S. repro carts look the same as the famicom version (in terms of graphics and sprites n such) and if the game runs just as fast and well. I’m considering getting a repro cart but I want it to run well
@@archdukefranzferdinand4429 My US repro runs perfectly fine compared to my Super Famicom copy. Infact all of the footage from this episode was captured on my repro. I hope this game treats you better than a trip to Sarajevo 😉
Holy snap!! I love Power Rangers Fighting edition and always wanted a game similar cause of its gameplay. I also LOVE the robot ninjas game ... but never in my dreams would I imagine that there was a gundam game on the snes by the same company!! Im mind blown, I just purchased it on ebay for about $25 :) thanks for the awesome review and insight on this game.
No problem! Glad you liked the review and I'm even happier I was able to introduce you to this game. Easily the best fighting on the system and on par with the first Street Fighter Alpha game. Great score for $25 I think I got my copy for a similar price but I can't remember at the moment.
RetroDrew Definitely looks like it from your video! Liking your review style btw. Just subscribed so I’m looking forward to watching your current videos and any new ones. Keep up the awesome work man.
have never regretted so much that this game did not have a sequel with the amount of great characters Kira in Strike Freedom, Amuro in Nu Gundam, Kamille in Z Gundam, Puro Two in Qubeley MK2, Loran with Turn to Gundam etc, since the game is advancing for its time it even gets to do as good as the best figthing of the time like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. If they had taken it out of Japan: / Anyway, good video for giving this game what it deserves ... Greetings from Chile and sorry for the spelling, use google translate to write this.
I agree! It's such a dhame that this game never got a sequel in the graphics style of Street fighter Alpha 2. And to think they could have loaded the game up with tons of characters from previous gundam series. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate the support!
Try Etsy! Just google "Gundam Wing Endless Duel repro" and plenty of results should show up. The First one I clicked on is $32 and looks like a quality repro
@@RetroDrew Well I'm in the UK so I hope we have that too. Postage prices from the USA can be insane. But yeah, 32 dollaridoos certainly beats several hundred! :D
Dude sorry but you are wrong, only Wing Zero and Wing, has 2 Supers. Some characters, (including Wing) can handle to use their supers on the air, but thats it (Wing, Epyon, ShengLong, Deathscythe and Vayeate) Sandrock, Tallgeese, Wing Zero and Heavy Arms are limited to use their supers on the ground, but there is a way to make them use their supers on the air with a glitch, something not easy to handle. I know this game very well, is of my 2 favorite game since my childhood, with Wild Guns.
@@RetroDrew It's extremely honest and the special move inputs are very lenient. Go to my channel and look up the first Fighter's Uprising episode if you want to see my move list. Well, if you manage to anyways. Might be a bit much. Time stamps to go to any character to see all they can do move wise.

Hahahaha that's awesome! It really is an amazing game!
Online Players netplay gundam zsnes?
Wait Zsnes had online play? 😮
Just picked up this game today.
Excellent pick up! This game holds up like the finest of wines
this this the best SNES fighting game ive ever played

if i ever became a programmer i'd mod the OZ suits to nerf their difficulty... it's impossible without knowing the Juggles...
Epyon Beats the hell out of anyone
The best 16 bit fighting game at only 16 megs. Surprised you didnt mention epyon.
es un gran juego. yo lo descubri cuando estaba en la universidad.
great game. i descovered when i was in the university. nice moments
I miss this gundam 2d series. It died for me once battle assault 3 came out.

Unfortunately this was a Japan only release. But a US reproduction copy won't run you much money.

Thanks for the sub! I'll keep you all caught up on the obscure games you should be playing, mostly from Japan.....and on the super famicom hahaha.
I got this game on my phone
Awesome video dude
Thank you! Be sure to check out the rest.

@@RetroDrew No thanks to you for this vídeo.
Great video!!!. See ya.
Glad you liked it! I have plenty more you could check out if you haven't already.
I want to get this for my SF, but the prices are crazy!!
Get a reproduction cart. It's cheaper!
@@RetroDrew Any idea where to get repros? I haven't seen any on eBay, just originals which make my credit card hide lol.

Try Godzilla Kaijuu Daikessen some time if you haven't already.
Thanks for the correction!
Godzilla is one I've play a little bit of but I'll be sure to give it another go soon to see if it stands up to this one

Shen Long, exists?
GW:ED or SFA2?
@michaelsong5555 If we're talking the SNES port of Alpha 2 then I'm taking Gundam Wing for sure.
@@RetroDrew Same.
SNES had pretty great original fighting games
It really did. Even the games that got lambasted for being SF clones, like Fighters History, were really good.
@@RetroDrew TMNT and Sailor Moon are still played along with Endless Duel in tournaments today!
I know. Actually I believe they play a rom hack version of the Sailor Moon SS fighting game that fixes a few things.
It's way deeper than sf2 lmao
I don't see sf2 characters having 2 forms of blocks, air maneuver, or air combos
Exactly! This game is fighting perfection on the snes
