Sana is an artist at heart. I saw the extreme dedication she gave for a particular one, so if you guys got the $$$, go support her next ongoing work. I also know it predated her holo-life, but I am more amazed and inspired by her new endeavor that I know we'd be chaining her down if we'd be too selfish to keep her grounded on earth. So long, astrogirl. I hope this next chapter of your life becomes a success.
idk if it's appropriate to ask here, but if there's a somewhat discrete way you can point me towards it so i may go. also, I hope it's not too much to ask as well if I may use this (and credit you) in a fan work (or two; likely a custom 3ds theme, probably a game) sometime in the future?
I thought so too, and it still might've been a deliberate instrument choice to make that reference, but those notes are in the original. It's a soft piano melody, so you might not have noticed it.
This isn’t the first time they did something like this. Their cover of Kiryu Coco’s “Weather Hackers” had a reference to “Baka Mitai” just before the final chorus.
@@kodykid168 Based on the use of the same "fade-in"-sounding instrument as well as the addition of the three-note bass arpeggios (which Astrogirl) doesn't have, I think he noticed the similarity of that part in the original and made it a more explicit reference which is pretty cool. Funny enough, I did something similar with an Undertale song in the 8-bit cover of Caesura of Despair I made last year
I bet what you want that this version of Astrogirl may have loved Sana because being the classic gamer that she is, it is impossible that she does not love the 8-bit sound... Thanks for this awesome work!...
That's some fine high-energy chiptune if I do say so myself. Btw, as someone trying to use Famitracker myself, I've been taking notice of how much you use the F effect a LOT, specifically using it multiple times rapidly in one column. I have to ask, I know what the F effect does, but how come you use it the way you do? I'm curious.
@@nmnk-emy That makes a lot of sense, thanks so much for the clarification! I'll keep that in mind, especially since I remember giving up on making a cover BECAUSE I tried changing the tempo and whatnot manually to be what I wanted and just...couldn't.
Simultaneously jamming out and crying uncontrollably rn
im getting strong Moon Theme energy from Ducktales from this its great!

@@jero3295 it's lost epic on steam, my man. I didn't make it. But you'd be surprised how much effort our astrogirl did for the "project"
01:42 I love the The Moon Theme Style of Astro Girl.
Kinda makes sense.
amazing cover, i really love how unique your sound remains while staying faithful to the classic 8-bit era of music
also idk if this was intentional, but that section at 1:42 sounded too much in reference to ducktales... outer space? coincidence????

Very very good work!
Lovely work! Can I have permission to maybe use this audio in a fan game in the future?

the way he uses it is to achieve specific tempos as close as possible, instead of sticking to a fixed speed value.
