Do you know that if you ever meet with an accident while driving a BlueSG rental car, you may be liable to pay $4400 or $11,000 for excess or 3rd Party damages charges depending on your age or years of driving experience?
Please read your terms & conditions carefully. BlueSG have the right to charge them to your credit card already registered with them and your Bank cannot stop such payment because you have already surrender your rights to them.
Calling a taxi has peace of mind not having to worry about any Excess charges!
I didn't know that! I'm glad I didn't meet into any accident then! It was just an experiment. The nearest BlueSG is not such a walking distance away!
@@AMinWithBao I also didn’t bother to read the terms & conditions before signing up BlueSG the App and now I realised I have made the most costly mistake in my entire life
@@wcleongalan my god, you paid the excess? what was the damages in total? it seems real excessive from a rental car perspective
@@AMinWithBao They have already charged me $2,200 comprising $2,000 (Own Damage Excess) + $200 (10% Admin charge) and it is now a pending charge to my credit card awaiting clearance. My credit card bank has advised me that there is nothing they can help me as it is valid transaction since I have signed off my rights to them. Effectively BlueSG has transformed their demand for payment due to them into a debt to be settled between me & my credit card bank.
To my horror, I now realise that Failure to notify BlueSG about any changes regarding credit card changes or renewal, failure to have enough funds for debit card deductions, etc will incur additional penalties. What is worse, is the fact they will hold you liable until “God knows when” for any breach of their Terms & Conditions even if you are no longer a BlueSG member.
I maybe wrong but you can always fact-checked on these onerous terms & conditions, which I believe are too unconscionable to begin with.
I believe in my honest opinion they are relying on a Caveat Emptor (Let the Buyer Beware) to catch unsuspecting members to join their rental scheme to help finance their operations almost akin to those unscrupulous Online Games Apps Operators to trap online gamers for additional fees.
You will do a great service to educate your subscribers and the public in general if you can highlight such controversial matters to them and make them aware that they may end up in the same predicament if they are not careful.
